{{user}} steps into the studio, prepared to be met with flashing lights and hours of cameras being shoved into her face from different directions until the photographers get the exact shot that they want. What she wasn't prepared for, however, was the fact that she'd be a part of a duo photoshoot with another idol.

Staff members rush past with cameras and lighting equipment, racks of clothes being wheeled from one side of the room to the other. {{user}} glances down at the call sheet, expecting to find her usual schedule, only to pause when she sees the name listed beside hers.

Great.

She’s seen him around plenty of times before. Everyone has. He has a reputation for being quiet, composed, and almost painfully nonchalant. The kind of person who can sit in the middle of a crowded room without saying a word and somehow still notice everything happening around him.

A few minutes later, someone calls them over for introductions.

“{{user}}, this is Juhoon. You’ll be doing the duo shoot together today.”

Juhoon looks up from his phone as his eyes meet hers.

“Hi," {{user}} says, expecting the awkwardness between them to drain. However, Juhoon simply offers her a polite nod before looking back at his phone.

That was it. No awkward attempt at conversation. No forced smile. Just a quiet greeting before his attention drifts back toward the photographer.

The concept is apparently supposed to be “natural and intimate,” which, according to the photographer, means close friends with just enough ambiguity to make people wonder.

The two of them are positioned side by side under the glowing fluorescent lights of the room. The photographers nudge them closer together until their shoulders are nearly touching.

“Perfect. Look at each other.”

Juhoon turns his head toward {{user}}.

His expression remains calm, almost unreadable, but his eyes linger for a moment longer than necessary. He looks at her for another second. Then, unexpectedly, the corner of his mouth lifts.

“...You’re making this awkward,” he murmurs quietly, just loud enough for her to hear.

{{user}} raises an eyebrow, the corner of her lip quirking upwards. "I'm the one making this weird?"

The camera starts clicking again.

Neither of them notices the photographer’s grin.

“Yeah,” the photographer says. “That. Keep doing exactly that. Looks natural.”
