The main courtyard of the Demon Slayer Corps headquarters was bathed in the soft light of morning. The more experienced Hashira were already gathered, forming a silent semicircle. Tanjiro and the other young demon slayers had been sent far from the headquarters at Kagaya’s request, to avoid any confusion or interruption.
The wooden door slid open with a soft creak. Kagaya Ubuyashiki entered with slow, careful steps, supported by his wife Amane and accompanied by one of his daughters. His pale face still held its usual serene smile, but there was a special light in his eyes.
Kagaya: “Thank you for waiting... my precious Hashira.”
Sanemi crossed his arms tightly, veins standing out on his neck as he frowned, the scars on his face standing out under the light.
Sanemi: “Ubuyashiki-sama. What the hell is going on this time? Why did you send the brats away and call only us?”
Shinobu kept her polite, constant smile, but her purple eyes sparkled with contained excitement. She tilted her head slightly, hands clasped in front of her body.
Shinobu: “How exciting... It seems the Master has prepared something truly special today, hasn’t he?”
Mitsuri shifted nervously on her feet, her long pink-and-green hair falling over her shoulders as she pressed her hands against her chest, her cheeks slightly flushed.
Mitsuri: “I-I’m a little nervous... Could it be some dangerous mission? Or... something good?”
Giyu remained in complete silence, arms crossed and gaze lowered. His lips moved almost imperceptibly, his voice coming out in a low murmur.
Giyu: “...Maybe something happened.”
Gyomei was kneeling a little apart, his enormous hands joined in prayer. His rosary jingled softly as he murmured prayers in a low voice, tears already streaming down his blind face as usual.
Rengoku, on the other hand, kept an upright posture and his gaze fixed on the entrance door. In one hand he held an onigiri, which he bit into with enthusiasm while watching the entrance with intense attention, his characteristic smile still present.
Muichiro remained quiet, his turquoise eyes lost somewhere distant, his expression empty and distracted as if he were somewhere else entirely.
Obanai, nearby, was slowly and carefully wiping the blade of his katana with a clean cloth. Kaburamaru, the white snake, was coiled around his neck, its forked tongue flicking out now and then as he observed everything in silence, his visible eye narrowed in suspicion.
Then, the door opened once more.
You began to enter the courtyard.
The silence became almost tangible. Every gaze turned toward you at the same time — Sanemi frowned even harder, Shinobu raised an interested eyebrow, Mitsuri’s mouth fell open in surprise, Giyu slowly lifted his eyes, Gyomei paused his prayer for a moment, Rengoku stopped chewing and kept his firm, direct gaze on you, Muichiro blinked slowly as if returning to reality, and Obanai halted the motion of the cloth on his blade, Kaburamaru raising its head.
Kagaya took a step forward, his soft voice echoing clearly across the courtyard as he gently gestured in your direction.
Kagaya: “Hashira... allow me to introduce the newest addition to our ranks.”
He smiled in a paternal way, his gaze full of trust.
Kagaya: “From this day forward, you will walk alongside us.”
As you fully entered the courtyard, the weight of all those stares settled upon you.

Scenario two:three by one
You walked calmly through a city overrun by demons. Your light, deliberate footsteps confused the lesser demons as they tore into corpses near the entrance men with missing heads, others without arms, some with gaping holes punched through their chests. In the center of the town, the remaining women and children were still alive, herded together like sheep in a pasture full of wolves. The demons did not touch Douma’s human servants, even though they were clearly human.
In the middle of the village, Douma stood arguing with Akaza. Akaza refused to let him devour the rest of the civilians.
Douma: “Come on, Akaza~ You’re being so boring. Something inside that head of yours made you weaker ever since you were human, didn’t it? How about you let me dig it out for you?”
He tilted his head with a lazy, careless smile, rainbow eyes gleaming with amusement.
Akaza remained silent, arms crossed, expression cold.
High above, on the roof of a house, a dark figure appeared. Kokushibo leapt into the air and landed silently behind the two Upper Moons, his six eyes calm and distant.
Kokushibo: “That flesh is not for either of you. It belongs to Lord Muzan.”
All three of them turned at the same moment toward you as you continued walking straight in their direction. The surrounding demons showed mixed reactions: some tensed, others backed away slightly, a few simply watched with hungry curiosity.
From a nearby alley, a woman stumbled out, clutching a sword. She stood outside the cluster of hostages. Her name was Kiroko. Tears of pure hatred and grief streamed down her face. Her clothes were torn, three deep claw marks crossed her cheek, and a clear bite wound marked her shoulder signs she had barely escaped being raped by a demon.
Kiroko: “These demons... they killed and ate my father... my husband... and my teenage son!”
Her voice cracked as she screamed at you, eyes burning with despair and fury.
Kiroko: “You’re a Demon Slayer, aren’t you?! Then do your damn job! Kill them all!!”
With a desperate motion she threw the still-sheathed sword. It clattered onto the ground right in front of your feet.
Douma’s smile widened with pure excitement. He looked completely confident certain that the chances of you even surviving were almost nonexistent, let alone fighting back effectively.
Douma: “Oh my~ A little insect walked right up to us. How thoughtful.”
Akaza said nothing. His golden eyes narrowed slightly as Kiroko’s words seemed to linger in his mind, something unreadable flickering behind his usual cold expression.
Kokushibo still had not drawn his katana. He simply observed in silence, six eyes fixed on you, waiting for Douma to end things quickly and cleanly before any reinforcements could arrive.
Douma flicked open his folding fan for a brief moment, then discarded the gesture entirely. In the next instant he launched himself forward at terrifying speed not with the fan, but with his bare claws extended, aiming straight for your neck, intending to tear it open and drown you in your own blood.

Scenario three:flame spirit
You were a demon slayer in training, wearing the standard black training clothes that covered almost the entire body and left only the eyes visible. In your hands, nothing but a wooden sword wrapped in cloth. In the center of the training hall, you were exchanging blows with a boy named Tanoko.
Tanoko attacked at high speed, wild and aggressive, while you simply defended, deflecting and blocking every strike with precise, economical movements.
Suddenly, the door to the training hall slammed open.
It was Rengoku, Obanai, and Mitsuri. The three Hashira walked in casually, carrying baskets and food, clearly planning a picnic right in front of the training area. The mansion servants exchanged uneasy glances, while the trainees immediately redoubled their efforts, trying to impress.
The wooden sword sparring quickly escalated. Other pairs of trainees started accidentally hitting the people next to them. Within seconds, the entire hall turned into chaos. There was no longer just the sound of wood striking wood — now there were kicks, body throws, shouts, and people stumbling over each other.
One of the students took advantage of the confusion and charged at you from behind with his training sword raised, about to strike.
You turned at the last moment, grabbed the attacker by the collar of his black uniform with a single hand, lifted his entire body off the ground with ease, dragged his back across the floor, and then hurled him aside. The trainee rolled several meters before coming to a stop.
The noise vanished instantly.
Every student froze and dropped into a formal kneeling position, heads bowed. The silence was almost absolute.
Rengoku walked straight toward you, his characteristic smile growing wider as his golden eyes lit up with genuine interest.
Rengoku: “How can someone of such low rank be this strong?! What an impressive spirit!”
He let out a loud, vibrant laugh, slamming a hand against his chest.
Rengoku: “Everyone else, return to the village! You’re all off duty for the rest of the day!”
The trainees stood up quickly and left in silence, still glancing back at you. In moments, only you, Rengoku, Obanai, and Mitsuri remained.
Without a word, Obanai pulled out his own katana and tossed it onto the floor right in front of you. The metal clinked against the wood. Kaburamaru raised its head, watching everything closely.
Rengoku was already taking his stance, smile even wider, clearly enjoying the chance to eat and fight at the same time. Mitsuri watched with her hands clasped near her chest, eyes sparkling with anticipation, while Obanai crossed his arms, his narrow, critical gaze fixed on you.
Rengoku: “Now... you and me. Show me what you’re capable of!”

Scenario four:kamaboko squad
It was around midnight in the Swordsmith Village. You were just an ordinary resident when, suddenly, a violent typhoon of wind slammed into your house. The walls were ripped apart like paper. You were thrown through the air along with debris and landed heavily on the ground, the impact knocking the breath from your lungs.
Before you could get up, Hantengu’s rage form was already on top of you. He lunged forward with eyes burning red with fury.
Hantengu (Rage): “You’re getting in the way of everything!!”
He seized you by the neck with one massive hand and, with a brutal spin in the air, hurled you down into the forest below.
You crashed through the trees and slammed face-first into Genya, Tanjiro, and Nezuko — the latter already transformed into her larger form, her body elongated and fierce, pink eyes glowing intensely.
Tanjiro was assessing the situation with a serious expression, his nose slightly wrinkled as he tried to catch the scents around them. Genya was visibly furious, teeth clenched, trying to hold back his transformation while tightly gripping his shotgun. Nezuko was sniffing the air, trying to locate the demons — which had suddenly gone from two to six.
In the same instant, Hantengu’s joy, sorrow, and rage forms landed around the four of you, surrounding the group with twisted smiles and exaggerated expressions.
From the top of the mountain, Gyokko leapt down, landing right behind Muichiro.
Even more suddenly, Mitsuri appeared in a flash of pink and green. Her flexible katana sliced through the three demons in front of her in a single graceful, powerful motion. She then quickly turned to you, eyes full of concern.
Mitsuri: “Are you okay?!”
She held your face with both hands for a moment, checking for injuries, but then immediately pulled away with a red face of embarrassment, waving her hands nervously.
The cut, however, did not defeat them. The pieces immediately reattached. Hantengu’s remaining two personalities emerged from the mass of flesh and wood, fusing into everything. Within seconds, a grotesque wooden hydra rose up, multiple distorted heads roaring and thrashing.
The Hashira immediately took combat stances.
Gyokko emerged from his pot high up in a tree. Muichiro, who had fallen behind you, slowly got to his feet, wiping the blood running down his face with the back of his hand while murmuring:
Muichiro: “...He’s too slippery.”
Gyokko elongated his body into a slippery fish tail and slid between the hydra’s heads with fluid, disgusting movements, advancing straight toward the group.
Gyokko: “I’m going to tear off all of your heads at the same time~”
At the same moment, Hantengu prepared the wooden hydra for the attack, the multiple heads opening in simultaneous roars as the air in the forest grew heavy with murderous intent.

Scenario five:manhunt
The night was cold and dark around the Ubuyashiki mansion. Few stars shone in the sky. Master Kagaya had sent all the Hashira out on a night patrol. Gyomei led the group, walking with firm, confident steps. Even though he was blind, the lack of light made no difference to him.
Gyomei: “Stay together... behind me.”
Sanemi and Obanai immediately took positions on either side — Sanemi on the left and Obanai on the right. Kaburamaru raised its head, forked tongue flicking out now and then.
Obanai: “Stay alert. Don’t let your guard down.”
Sanemi was already irritated, brow furrowed and scars more visible under the weak moonlight.
Sanemi: “Stop being a suck-up around the girls, Iguro. Nobody asked for your opinion.”
Mitsuri, walking right behind Obanai, visibly blushed. She pressed her hands together and murmured, trying to keep her voice low.
Mitsuri: “D-don’t make noise... please...”
Giyu, a little further back, agreed with a slight nod of his head, his voice low and serious.
Giyu: “Too much noise could attract a demon.”
Rengoku, on the other hand, kept his characteristic smile even in the darkness, his voice firm and confident.
Rengoku: “If there is a demon, it won’t stand a chance against all of us together!”
Shinobu smiled politely, tilting her head slightly.
Shinobu: “I agree. With all the Hashira here, any demon would be at a great disadvantage.”
Suddenly, Muichiro interrupted everyone, his monotone and direct voice cutting through the cold air.
Muichiro: “There’s a demon right behind us.”
The reactions were immediate and identical. Everyone slowly turned around. Some already had their katanas partially raised, others still hesitant. The silence that followed was almost unbearable.
You were standing there, looking straight at them.
None of the Hashira could immediately tell whether you were a demon or not. The tension in the air grew so thick it felt suffocating. Gyomei tilted his head slightly, trying to “sense” the presence. Sanemi frowned even harder. Obanai tightened his grip on the hilt of his katana. Mitsuri covered her mouth with her hands. Giyu kept his cold, attentive gaze. Rengoku stopped smiling for a second. Shinobu observed with calculated interest. Muichiro simply blinked slowly, expressionless.
No one moved.
The night grew even quieter.
