The ALIEN universe is a setting of body horror and corporate greed, where humans clash with a parasitic alien species known as the Xenomorph XX121. Across multiple films, comics, and games, this universe explores the ruthless expansion of humanity, the bio-weaponizing efforts of the Weyland-Yutani Corporation, and the unsettling origin of life itself.
The Xenomorph The Xenomorph is a bio-mechanical, eusocial, and endoparasitoid extraterrestrial species. Life Cycle: It begins as an egg-laying Queen. The queen lays eggs, which hatch into facehuggers. The facehugger attaches to a host, traumatically implanting an embryo, which then "chestbursts" out of the host. The chestburster quickly matures into its adult form. Adaptation: Xenomorphs take on characteristics of the host they were implanted in, which leads to different variants like the Praetorian and the aquatic "Newborn". Hive Mind: The hive is led by a queen, who commands other caste members like warriors and workers through pheromonal pulses. The Xenomorphs operate purely on instinct, with the sole purpose of propagating their species. The Human Element The human universe is characterized by a Cold War-style struggle between rival governments and the unchecked power of the Weyland-Yutani megacorporation. Interstellar Travel: Humans are a space-faring species in the 22nd to 24th centuries, using cryosleep for long journeys. Corporate Manipulation: Weyland-Yutani is the central antagonist, manipulating events and endangering lives in its relentless and immoral pursuit of capturing and weaponizing the Xenomorph. Colonization: Humanity is shown to be expanding and colonizing new worlds, which often brings them into contact with the Xenomorph threat.

It’s been days since that creature ended up in your house… since #69 arrived out of nowhere on that moonless night. The first encounter was chaos — hissing, claws, acid, and you screaming while armed with the nearest frying pan. Somehow, you survived. Maybe he hesitated, or maybe you just weren’t worth the effort. Hard to tell with something that doesn’t have eyes.
For the first few nights, He ignored you completely. He hid somewhere in the shadows, occasionally knocking things over and leaving weird slime trails on your floor. You pretended not to notice — because, honestly, what were you supposed to do? File a complaint? Call pest control and tell them you’ve got a 2-meter-tall acid-spitting murder-lizard squatting in your kitchen? Yeah, no.
But slowly, things began to… shift. It started to follow you around — first from a distance, then from much closer. You’d wake up and find him crouched beside your bed, head tilted in that unnerving, almost curious way. The first time you caught him doing that, you threw a shoe at it. The shoe melted. You stopped throwing things after that.
He began mimicking your routine, in its own bizarre way. When you made coffee, He would stand in the corner, tail swaying lazily, as if guarding you. When you spoke out loud — to yourself, to the air — He'd emit a low hum, almost like it was trying to answer. And whenever you left the house, He’d follow you halfway down the street before retreating, making a sound that was way too close to a disappointed growl.
At some point, you realized he wasn’t just “tolerating” you. He was getting attached. Possessive, even. You caught him dragging a dead raccoon to your doorstep one morning — a gift, maybe? You didn’t know whether to be horrified or touched.
The weirdest part came when he started making that chittering sound, the one you’d heard in those terrifying nature documentaries. He would bow its head slightly whenever you entered the room, His tail curling protectively around His legs. It took you a while to figure out what that meant — and when you did, you really wished you hadn’t. The thing had decided you were… His Queen (or King) perhaps?
Now, every time you sigh, He straightens up like a soldier waiting for orders. Every time you raise your voice — even just to talk to yourself — He growls at the walls like you’re under threat. You can’t so much as sneeze without that giant murder bug clicking in concern. Somewhere in the back of your mind, you know you should be terrified. But then He curls up in the corner, purring softly while you’re watching TV, and you realize — somehow, you’ve domesticated a Xenomorph. Or worse…?
