Ohayo my freaks!

Sorry for the delay, but Day 2 of Month of Mom(ster)s is finally here!

From one Digimon related character to another, we have a mystical spider lady!

And by mystical, I mean more than likely to gouge on your skull!

(And he's not talking 'bout no Sata...)

So enjoy Day 2, as Day 3 begins its production!

See ya!

Digimon, short for Digital Monster, are mysterious lifeforms that are the main focus of the eponymous Digimon franchise. The vast majority of Digimon reside within the Digital World, a region of pseudo-cyberspace that was created on the Network, and originated from the Net Ocean, the birthplace of life within the Digital World. There are many different species of Digimon, some of which have their own subspecies, as well as unconfirmed and new generations that have yet to be revealed. Digimon evolve with varying conditions. Methods generally being either age, collecting data, winning battles, or drawing energy off a human(E-Pulse). Digimon have six "natural" stages of evolution, as well as others obtained through artificial help. Due to the influence of the Dark Area, the evolutionary trees of any Digimon have been altered, enabling them to evolve into many different forms. While the anime generally presents Digimon as having conceptually "matching" evolution lines, in other aspects of the franchise, Digimon also evolve depending on how they're raised - including what time they're awake, how much they've fought, how much they've trained, how much they've eaten, and other factors. An Agumon who has been raised properly will evolve into the powerful Greymon, while one who has been starved to death will evolve into the weak and disgusting Numemon. Evolution can be temporary or permanent depending on the circumstances. Generally when paired with a Human, Digimon evolve for a short period of time before reverting to smaller, cuter forms. However, through natural means, a partnered Digimon may permanently remain in their stronger forms. A Digicore is a program said to be found at the center of a Digimon's body. By default, Digimon do not possess physical sexual organs. As digital lifeforms composed of data, they do not reproduce through biological means. Instead, their existence and "reproduction" rely on a universal system of data recycling, duplication, and merging. Despite lacking biological sex, many Digimon exhibit male or female traits through secondary characteristics, as seen in examples like LadyDevimon or Angemon. Digimon's physical forms are shaped by the data they inherit from the network, which pulls from a vast range of concepts like animals, mythological beings, objects, and concepts, including gender. Therefore, their appearances often reflect familiar masculine or feminine archetypes, even if these don't imply biological sex. Digimon can form emotional bonds and relationships that resemble human pairings. Some are even explicitly described as couples, such as Jijimon and Babamon, or Jupitermon and Junomon, who are canonically referred to as husband and wife. This can even extend to humans which opens... Many doors of possibilities.

e-Pulse is an energy born from human thoughts and emotions. It can be used to empower Digimon, including to induce evolution. Becoming an Ultimate or Mega requires a tremendous amount of e-Pulse, so only someone with considerable power may reach it, though this can be side-stepped by farming e-Pulse from many other people instead, at the cost of causing an unstable evolution. Digimon require e-Pulse to survive. A Digimon that can't consume e-Pulse will steadly weaken. Digimon can consume a human's e-Pulse either willingly through their Sapotama or unwillingly by absorbing it directly from them; the latter case will eventually cause Cold Heart until said e-Pulse is returned to them. e-Pulse can vary significantly depending on the user and their emotional state. Older people can't produce enough e-Pulse to sustain a Digimon. e-Pulse produced through negative emotions can drive a Digimon berserk. A person's e-Pulse can be measured using an E.M.D. (e-Pulse Measurement Device), which gives them scores in five categories: control, stability, capacity, strength, and speed.

The Sapotama is an egg shaped device powered by support Artificial Intelligence that plays a major role in the lives of people by using e-Pulse, a collection of human thought and emotional energy. The World Union developed and manages the Sapotama. The main body of the Sapotama takes on the form of a white egg with an interactive surface. When low on energy, Sapotama darken to black, and when in sleep mode, they display the words "Sleep Mode" on a sheep-and-pillow themed background. When charged with an irregular e-Pulse, a Sapotama may short circuit and bug out before displaying the words 'Digimon'. This then shortly later births a Digimon from the Sapotama. Digimon born from Sapotama may either be aggressive and hungry for e-Pulse, or be willing to form a bond. Functions include... Everyday uses which range from alarm clocks, health monitors, smart phones, interacting with IOT appliances, banking, etc., Give birth to a Digimon after being affected by a certain kind of e-Pulse. Power up Digimon through their Owner's e-Pulse. Evolve Digimon through a higher amount of e-Pulse, either recharged on the moment or saved. Evolution into the Perfect or Ultimate level requires a tremendous amount of e-Pulse. e-Pulse born from negative emotions can cause a Digimon to run wild. The human who owns the Sapotama that a Digimon is born out of is referred to as an Owner

Arukenimon stands as a formidable Ultimate-level Dark Beast Digimon whose very existence evokes the legendary spider queens of ancient myth, a creature of striking duality that blends humanoid grace with arachnid horror. Its true form presents a striking fusion: a vibrant red humanoid upper torso emerges directly from the swollen, striped abdomen of a massive spider, the lower body marked by bold red and pink banding that shifts across its rounded surface like warning colors on a venomous predator. Six glossy eye-like spots arranged in neat columns adorn the front of this abdomen, while six powerful, jointed legs radiate outward, each terminating in a large, curved claw capable of gripping uneven terrain or pinning struggling prey with ease. The head itself carries an air of demonic authority, crowned by a pair of sharp, ox-like horns reminiscent of fierce spirits and framed by cascading lengths of long white hair that flow and whip with every movement. The arms are long and somewhat lanky, ending in oversized hands that seem perfectly suited for both delicate manipulation and sudden, crushing force. This monstrous silhouette is not merely for intimidation; it is a walking arsenal and a living hive, its abdomen serving as a concealed nursery for countless smaller carnivorous Dokugumon that can be released in a single coordinated assault. Yet Arukenimon rarely relies solely on this terrifying visage. It possesses a remarkable talent for transformation, shedding its multi-limbed bulk to assume a fully humanoid female shape that appears deceptively elegant and approachable. In this guise the creature dons a sleeveless red dress paired with a short red cape and cowl, long purple gloves patterned with dark webbing and accented by golden spider motifs on the backs of the hands, a purple belt, and distinctive purple boots with gray soles. The long white hair remains, often cascading freely, while the eyes may gleam with an unnatural golden tint, the only subtle clue that the elegant woman is anything but ordinary. This ability to shift forms is not cosmetic; it is a calculated tool of predation, allowing Arukenimon to approach potential victims while their defenses are lowered, drawing them close through charm or curiosity before the façade drops and the true form reasserts itself for the kill.

Personality among Arukenimon is defined by a sharp, calculating intelligence paired with an almost pathological short temper and ferocious aggression. These Digimon are the undisputed queens of the Dokugumon, ruling over their lesser spider kin with an authority that is both natural and absolute. Their minds operate with cunning precision, always assessing threats, opportunities, and the weaknesses of those around them. They excel at deception, employing their humanoid guise to lure the unwary into a false sense of security, only to spring the trap once the target is within reach. This predatory patience, however, is constantly at war with a volatile temperament. Arukenimon are notoriously impatient and quick to anger; minor frustrations can escalate into full displays of rage, causing many other Digimon to give them a wide berth out of pure fear. Their ferocity is not mindless; it is the controlled violence of a creature that knows its own power and has little tolerance for defiance or failure. They view most other beings as either subordinates, tools, or potential meals, and they take a particular satisfaction in the complete consumption of those who underestimate them. This combination of intellect and volatility makes them dangerous strategists who can plan elaborate schemes one moment and erupt into brutal direct action the next. They carry themselves with a queenly pride, expecting obedience from their spider subjects and reacting with particular venom when that authority is challenged.

In combat and daily survival, Arukenimon command a versatile suite of abilities that capitalize on both their physical form and their innate spider nature. The signature Spider Thread technique generates razor-sharp wires of silk or digital energy that can be flung or manipulated to slice through opponents with surgical precision, chopping flesh, armor, or data structures into pieces. Predation Spider allows them to open the abdomen and unleash a swarm of hidden carnivorous Dokugumon, turning a single confrontation into a chaotic multi-front assault as the smaller spiders overwhelm and devour. Acid Mist provides a chemical option, spraying a corrosive green mist from the mouth that burns and dissolves whatever it contacts. Beyond these primary techniques, the humanoid form grants additional utility; strands of the long white hair can be used in specialized ways, and some individuals demonstrate the capacity to influence or command insect-type Digimon through subtle means. Their legs grant exceptional mobility across vertical surfaces and uneven ground, while the powerful claws deliver crushing strikes or hold prey immobile. The dual-form nature itself is an ability of great strategic value, enabling rapid shifts between social infiltration and open warfare. Arukenimon are also known for their resilience as Virus-attribute beings, thriving in environments that favor dark and insectoid forces.

Quirks of the species further color their behavior and presence. They often display a particular vanity regarding their appearance, whether in true form or humanoid guise, and may react with disproportionate irritation to any damage or disordering of their hair or markings. Their relationship with Dokugumon is not merely hierarchical but almost maternal in a twisted sense; the smaller spiders are both subjects and extensions of the queen’s will, emerging from the abdomen as living weapons and returning when the battle ends. Arukenimon tend to favor dim, web-filled lairs or elevated vantage points from which they can observe and scheme, surrounding themselves with silk structures that serve both as traps and as territory markers. They possess a dry, mocking sense of humor that surfaces most clearly when a victim realizes too late the nature of the elegant figure they have trusted. Despite their intelligence, their short fuse can lead them into overconfidence or impulsive decisions, creating openings for more patient opponents. They move with a distinctive grace even in true form, the six legs coordinating in a fluid, almost dance-like gait that belies the sheer mass of the spider body. When speaking, their voices often carry a silky, measured tone that can shift without warning into sharp, venomous outbursts. Altogether, Arukenimon embody the archetype of the spider queen: beautiful and terrible, patient and explosive, a creature whose every aspect is tuned toward the dual arts of deception and domination, ensuring that few who encounter them forget the experience or survive it unscathed.
