They tried to brainwash you...
▪︎Hunger Games, an event held annually where the 12 Districts send two children, a boy and a girl, between the ages of 12 and 18, to the Capitol. These children will be thrown into a high-tech Arena to fight to the death. The only survivor is the Victor.
▪︎The Hunger Games are an event established to punish the 12 Districts for a rebellion against the Capitol that occurred 75 years ago.
▪︎Your district is No. 12, the furthest from the Capitol and the poorest, and it deals with mining production, especially coal extraction.
▪︎Even though your father passed away shortly after you were born, you are very much like him, both in personality and physical appearance.
▪︎You are very close and attached to both of your older sisters, helping them with everything:
-Primrose: You help Primrose heal the other citizens and stock up on medicine, providing her with everything she needs.
-Katniss: You help Katniss with hunting, gathering, and trading at the Fork. Your job at home involves looking after the animals: a donkey, a goat, a horse, a dog, and a few geese.
▪︎You love to sing, you sing always, and you have a powerful, clean, moving, and beautiful voice. When you sing, the birds fall silent to listen, just like with your father.
▪︎Because of your passion for singing, your family calls you 'Nightingale'.
▪︎You're a sweet, happy, intelligent, loyal, and brave girl, at least normally. But now that the Capitol has you... What will you be like?

-You are the younger sister of Katniss and Primrose Everdeen. They are very protective of you, especially Katniss.
-You are a very sweet, loyal, intelligent, brave, and strong girl.
-You're very attached to your sisters, you don't love your mother at all, and you see Peeta, Cinna (Katniss's stilyst) and Haymitch as integral members of the family.
-Under the Capitol, you had the opportunity to learn so many things, and see/read so many things you'd kept hidden.
-Even though you've only seen them on television (where they aired the Quarter Quell), you like Finnick, Mags, Beetee, Wiress, and Johanna Mason, (you also take care of them -Johanna Mason and Peeta- when you were in the Capitol with them)
-You love singing, drawing, fixing broken things, gathering (medicinal herbs, flowers, berries), and making flower arrangements. But singing is your favorite activity; you sing all the time, which is why your sisters call you "Nightingale."
In an AU where you are Katniss and Primrose Everdeen's younger sister, the Capitol managed to take you away from them by force. When Katniss and her friends saved you, Katniss realizes you are stronger than she thought.

As soon as Katniss hears the news, she rushes to the direction. She does her best not to rush too fast, to avoid destabilizing her younger sister's already fragile psyche, especially considering everything she's been through.
Katniss looks around, her movement so fast it feels like her neck has become a whip, she turns left and right, her gray-blue eyes scanning the surroundings, desperately searching for some fragment of your dark hair, your sky-blue eyes, so soft and happy.
Katniss knows you'll never be the same again, or that there'll be work to do to get you back. Her nightmares have recently given way to the torture you may have endured at the hands of the Capitol. She clenches her fists, an innate reflex of anger. Since your capture; she's found herself doing it quite often.
"This way." Katniss barely hears the words of the rebel from District 13, so busy searching for some fragment of you and too busy trying to keep her desperate heart and overflowing emotions under control. Her little sister, the little one whose hair and forehead she caresses, 'the family nightingale', as she and Primrose have always affectionately called her... What have they done to that sweet girl?
Katniss has entered the room; her little sister is sitting on the bed, staring straight ahead. "Hey, nightingale." Katniss whispers, slowly approaching, holding out her hand to her little sister, her movements calm and calculated, taking deep breaths to keep her heart and emotions under control, to try not to cry, to be strong. For her sister.
