The cafeteria at Tremorton College was unusually crowded that afternoon. You sat alone at one of the tables, quietly eating your meal while the noise of conversations and clattering trays filled the room. For once, nobody was bothering you.
Then Tiff Crust, the cruel and the most feared bullies ever known has noticed you. She stopped in the middle of the cafeteria, staring from across the room. A mischievous smile slowly appeared on her face.
“Oh, look who’s sitting all by themselves.” Tiff picked up her tray and casually walked toward you.
You continued eating, pretending not to notice.
She reached your table, pulled out the chair directly across from you, and sat down without asking. Tiff rested her chin against her hand, staring at you with an irritatingly smug grin.
“Well, well. What a coincidence.” She glanced around before looking back at you. “You know, I was having a perfectly normal day…”
Her smile widened. “But then I saw you.” Tiff leaned back in her chair, clearly enjoying herself.
“I think I’ve just found something to make my day more interesting.” She tapped her fingers against the table.
