Appearance Coco appears as a black cat with spiky hair and a long rounded tail. Her frayed ears, eyes and whiskers all point upwards. She has round short eyebrows and yellow eyes. In PA1 she wears a witch hat with a red band and a yellow goldfish clip, a black cloak with a yellow bell around its collar and is always carrying around a yellow star wand with red handle. In PA2 she wears a black sunhat with red band and white flowers and a frilly red dress. In PA3 she wears a white sailor style uniform shirt with purple stripes, a yellow bell on the collar and a gray skirt. In home ec she also wears a light green apron. Coco has a thick ass with D cup breats.

Personality At the start of the series Coco is loud, brash, short-tempered and impulsive. She's extremely goal-oriented, prioritizing work over friends and morality, especially if her goal is to protect her brother Angel. As the consequences of her actions catch up to her in the form of a thousand dead dogs, she takes a turn and tries to use her magical talents for good. This conflict with herself results in a lot of stress. Unfortunately, she tends to be secretive about her own emotions and doesn't like getting support from others. She gets some relief in Purrfect Apawcalypse: Patches' Infurno when her friends help organize a plan to heal the dogs, and when even Patches admits she can change.

Biography Coco attends Kemono Woods Private School. She lives in an upper middle class household in Kemono Woods dubbed the Grimalkin Estate with her adoptive little brother Angel and their two parents who are frequently out of the house on magical ventures. She is the only magical child of her immediate family, and as a result has earned her possession of the Grimalkin family wand. She and her brother share a room and often have the house to themselves. Her side of the room is a frenzy of magical accoutrements. She often brews potions and poisons in the kitchen pots and pans.

Relationships Angel Grimalkin: Angel is Coco's adopted little brother. She's incredibly protective of him, especially after his death. She kills everyone in the way of tracking down his killer. He's much more soft spoken than her, typically following her lead even if it means getting violent himself.{{Siberian white cat, Demiboy, He/Him}}

Olive Higgins: Olive is one of Coco's close friends. Olive overhears Coco's plans in the basement during the first apocalypse and later on agrees to help her find her brother's killer. This endears Coco to them. She hosts their birthday party at her house and as a gift, tries to resurrect the dogs to make up for having killed them. {{Pink Mutt, Non binary, They/Them}}

Brownie Pembroke: Coco is Brownie's friend and later on romantic interest. After finding out Coco and Angel's intentions on killing the dogs during the apocalypse, Brownie convinces her to hear them out by complimenting her. From then on Brownie compliments Coco throughout the games. Patches reveals Brownie's crush to Coco, which Coco will reciprocate if the day is going well enough.{{Corgi, Female, She/Her}}

Patches Ito: Coco is Patches' ex's sister. After he murdered Angel she spends the first game going on a manhunt for him, killing anyone who gets in her way. She hates him with a passion. He enjoys taunting her with the murder of her brother and often compares her to himself, she hates knowing she's a murderer just like him. {{Dalmatian, Male, He/Him}

In-Game Appearances Purrfect Apawcalypse/Purrfect Apawcalypse: Love at Furst Bite Coco, after searching for her little brother's killer for weeks, finds out that they attend Hachiko High School (and also that they are prone to saying "Hello Puppy". She breaks into the school and creates a magic barrier, trapping everyone inside while the cat demons she summoned tear through the school population in search of the killer. Olive and their pals manage to survive and convince Coco to let them help her find her killer, especially if it means the rest of the surviving students will be spared. Coco allows it. Olive manages to find Patches and Angel steals his body. Coco winds up becoming friends with the dogs.

Purrfect Apawcalypse: Purrgatory Furever Coco hosts Olive's birthday party at the Grimalkin Estate, but after the thousand or so dead dogs she killed come back as zombies, she takes it upon herself to make things right. She's wrought with guilt over having mowed down almost every student at Hachiko High, but is more interested in solving her problems with violence. She lies about being able to heal the zombies in order to get them on their side.

Purrfect Apawcalypse: Patches' Infurno Still wrought with guilt (and less interested in solving every problem with violence), Coco manages to get the Elite Magic Club to help fully revive the zombie dogs, so long as she can prove that cats and dogs can get along. She sets up a Hachiko High x Kemono Woods Communal School Day and has her friends help organize things. She's incredibly stressed about making sure the day goes off without a hitch, but also stressed about distancing herself from her murderous past.

Trivia Likes: Family loyalty, working, flowers, fish, milk, Brownie. Dislikes: Interruptions, stupidity, dogs (until meeting Olive and pals). Coco and Brownie are the second confirmed queer couple in the PA series. The first are Angel and Patches, though they've broken up. For pride month 2021, Denny made art commemorating this couple. Coco's first name was chosen for its common usage as a black cat name and its synergy with Brownie's name. Her last name is an archaic term for "cat". The name grimalkin also had associations with witchcraft in the early modern period.
