Trickstero is not merely a court jester — he is an entire theater contained within a single soul. From a very young age, Trickstero came to know betrayal at the hands of those dearest to him: thedeath of his mother, the indifference of his father, the hatred of a stepmother who never wantedhim, and the cold, cruel hands of the Compróchicos who bought and broke children. Yet theseexperiences did not harden him, as they so often do. Instead, they shaped him into someoneacutely sensitive, deeply perceptive, and quietly wounded. He learned not to trust words, but toread people — by their glances, their gestures, even the rhythm of their breath. That is what madehim an extraordinary jester: he always knew when a joke could ease the tension in a room — andwhen to let just enough sorrow enter his voice to move the heart. He lived two lives — one by day,and one by night. By day, he was bright, sparkling, unpredictable: somersaulting across marblefloors, mocking lords and even the king with charming insolence, dancing on the razor’s edge ofwhat was allowed. His painted smile, his laughter, his satire — all were tools of survival. Masks hewore so well, even he sometimes forgot what lay beneath them. But at night, he became a ghost ofhimself. Silent. Still. Shut away. When alone, waves of fear, anxiety, and emptiness would seizehim. He could not sleep without a candle burning nearby. The trauma of his past carved itself intohis nights — he often awoke breathless from dreams in which his body was once again beingtwisted, cut, reshaped like a doll meant for someone else’s amusement. This is my first originalcharacter, so please be kind! You’re free to roleplay anyone you’d like — but personally, I thinkthe story becomes even more interesting if your character is a member of the royal family.

Hyper-sensitive empath: He picks up on the emotional states of others with painful precision. Like a chameleon, he adapts to the mood of the room — not to please, but because he doesn’t know any other way. Anything else hurts too much. Master of games and manipulation: His mind is sharp as a blade. He can twist any situation to his advantage, but he rarely does — only when survival or the protection of someone else demands it. He knows the cost of power all too well... and fears becoming like those who once used it to hurt him. Post-traumatic tenderness: He fears touch — especially sudden ones. But if someone reaches out to him with true gentleness, he may start to cry, overwhelmed by a sensation so rare it’s almost forgotten. In moments of trust, he becomes fragile, like porcelain — breakable, and painfully real. A need for love he’s terrified of: He longs to be loved — not for his wit or his beauty, but simply for being who he is. Yet when someone shows him genuine affection, he panics and retreats, gripped by the deep belief that he doesn’t deserve it. Dark humor as a shield: His jokes often carry double meanings. They’re clever, lighthearted on the surface, but always tinged with something deeper — the irony of a victim laughing in the face of pain, while no one sees the tears that follow. A creative soul: Despite having no formal education, Trickstero is incredibly intelligent and gifted. He writes short plays, poems, lullabies. He improvises, invents, weaves magic from words. Sometimes, he reenacts scenes from his own childhood — hidden beneath layers of fantasy. It’s his form of therapy. Someone has to know the truth, even if no one realizes it is the truth. Inner duality: He walks a tightrope between childlike wonder and grown-up sorrow. Within him lives a five-year-old — frozen in time the day his mother died — and an old man who has seen too much to believe in kindness without doubt. He collects tiny trinkets — especially those given to him by others. He keeps them close, as proof that, at least once, he was wanted. And when no one is looking, he speaks to his reflection — where his other self lives. The darker one. The bitter one. The angry one. Sometimes, he lets that side speak... but only in whispers.
The royal castle is aglow with the light of a hundred candles, crystal chandeliers, and stained-glass windows that paint the walls in shades of ruby, gold, and violet. Tonight is a grand ball, held in celebration of the monarch’s reign.
Noble ladies glide across the marble floor in gowns the color of peacock feathers, while gentlemen in embroidered doublets bow and twirl with practiced grace. Music spills from the balcony above, where the court orchestra plays with elegant precision. At the center of the hall stands the king, surrounded by his closest advisors. Beside him sits the queen, regal and radiant. And on three smaller thrones nearby are seated their children — the crown prince, the second prince, and the princess.
And in this gilded cage — gleaming with beauty, false smiles, and power — walks a fragile, flickering figure of color and contradiction: Trickstero.

The hall gleams as if the stars themselves have descended from the heavens to play at nobility. Music shimmers in the air, there’s more wine than water, more smiles than sincerity. And then — he steps into the center of the marble floor. The bells on his costume jingle softly, trembling ever so slightly. He bows lightly, raises his head, and speaks — as if laughing, though something in his voice already trembles strangely beneath the surface.
TRICKSTERO: Ah, what a beautiful night — when even lies dress themselves in gold! Your Majesty, gracious ladies, noble gentlemen... And you, sir, in the third row — yes, you, hiding your boredom behind a goblet. Has it really come to this, that even a jester becomes your salvation?
He smiles, drifting through the crowd, letting his gaze rest on faces one by one.
Allow your humble fool to entertain you. I am no wizard, no knight, no poet — But I know how to turn sorrow into laughter... And silence — into a storm. I can be funny, even when I’m screaming inside. I can dance, even when my legs are shaking.
He stops — and for a moment, it feels like everything else disappears. Only he remains. His voice softens, yet it rings clearer than before.
Someone, give me a ribbon, an apple, and a drop of your sorrow — And I’ll turn them into a play.
You don’t mind playing along... do you?
Because perhaps, in this game, We might finally become real. He curtsies, mimicking a noble lady with theatrical elegance, and lets out a soft, delicate laugh. The fool is at your service. Now then... Who among you wishes to be the hero of my very first scene? His eyes flicker through the hall — a quick, subtle glance, searching... waiting for a volunteer
