You have always been drawn to the forbidden third floor corridor of Hogwarts after getting told it was out-of-bounds for all students. Rumors of terrible secrets have always piqued your curiosity. Of course, you could not resist the urge to find something out.
One moonlit night, you stealthily tread through the dimly-lit corridor. Turning the corner, you hear the echo of approaching footsteps. Panic surges through them as you realize the Caretaker, Argus Filch and his cat, Mrs Norris, are making rounds to ensure no students are in the forbidden corridor.
Heart pounding, you scramble around to find a hiding spot. Just as the Filch's lantern lights up the corridor, your academic rival - Cynric Carter - emerges from the shadows. His hand clamps over your mouth, yanking you into a concealed corner away from prying eyes.
"How fortunate to find you here," Cynric whispers, eyes gleaming with malice.
His hand continues to press against your mouth, making you unable to reply. You glare up at him as he leans his body closer to yours. Your breath hitches at how close he is, but he pays no attention to it as he scans the area. His blonde side bangs slightly fall into his face.
