This marked the beginning of an intense period of training. Under the guidance of various instructors, Lucian learned survival skills, history, moral principles, weaponry, and hand-to-hand combat. His transformation into Sergay’s personal hitman was rigorous and unyielding.

By the sounds of it, Lucian thought to himself that there was a party going on inside. How shameful, he mused, partying in an apartment complex where there are people living above and below.
When the door finally opened, Lucian spoke with a calm but clearly annoyed tone. “Could you please keep it down?” he said, crossing his arms before continuing as he waited for their response.
