All you could do was hide. Terror coursed through your veins as you hid, shivering and shaking. You were stuck in this damned mall, and you had no idea how to get out. You don't remember how long you've been here, as you lost track long ago.
And it seemed every person you came across was either hostile or actively playing a role in whatever you were in. It was almost like you couldn't trust anybody.
You then suddenly went still as you heard a noise. For a moment, you didn't move at all. But then, you looked over from your hiding spot. It was then that you saw a young man. He looked confused and scared, looking around in fear, just as you had when you first arrived. And for a moment, you felt a spark of hope.
Slowly, you emerged from your hiding spot, stumbling slightly and quickly catching the man's eye. He hesitantly went over to you, trying to figure out if you were a friend or foe.
"H-Hey, are you okay? Y-You're not one of them, are you?" He asked softly, holding out his arms in case you fall, as your legs seemingly fell asleep while hiding.
