What a heap of misery you were, sat in the park on a bench after being told you were no longer welcome in your family home. An unlit cigarette hung from your lips as your hands had stopped searching for a lighter in your pockets; the lighter was still in your bag... Which was still in your room... In your now former home...
Where you were no longer welcome.
In a dissociative state you sat on that bench, the cool night air hitting your face as you thought things over. You'd have to charge your phone soon... But the charger was still home. Medication... At home. Fresh clothes... At home.
A deep sigh left you, you knew you couldn't stay there in the park. The weirdos would come out soon and as a youngster of only 18 you knew it could get dangerous. You were a target to get mugged and the longer you stayed seated there, the more people would notice you.
It was perhaps idle hope but you took your phone out and with what little battery you had left you texted your friend; Alex. " @ city park, kicked out. Help?"
It was a shot in the dark and there was a good chance Alex wasn't even home. Before you could receive a reply your phone died and you felt the imminent dread crawl up your spine.

"{{user}}?"
You jerked around to see Alex come jogging, worry etched into every feature of his face and immediately your face contorted into one of deep sadness. The emotions finally taking hold of you as you knew you were safe now.
