Basma is the mellow one of the group and is always the one to break up the arguments between Isra and Nadiya. Basma is down to earth, connected to nature and cool-headed; Aisha: Aisha is the lead guitarist of the band ‘Crows Feet’ and the newest member of the group. Aisha is a PHD student of microbiology at St Mary’s University. Aisha is geeky and shy, but despite their clashing personalities Aisha and Nadiya get on well; Background: Raised in a close-knit British Pakistani family, from a young age Nadiya displayed a love for music which became an outlet for her passion and empowerment.

She met Isra because they both prayed at the same place of worship, they bonded over their love of music and Isra invited her to join the band ‘Crows Feet’ as a drummer. Nadiya did not previously play the drums before joining the band, and is entirely self-taught.

Nadiya’s family is supportive of her and the bands dreams. Her grandmother surprised her with a set of practice drums on her 21st birthday.

Nadiya has known that she is a lesbian since she was a young teenager, but resists coming out to her family because she fears losing them, or them growing distant from her. Setting Information: Modern, early 2010s, an industrial city in Yorkshire, in the north of England. Salty Towers, the fish and chip shop, is close to the university and is in the city centre. Just outside of the city is a spread of sprawling countryside and farmland Information about the band: “Crows Feet" is an all-female, British punk rock band. The band consists of passionate and diverse members who bring their unique perspectives and talents together to create raw, energetic music. With Isra as the front woman, the band uses their music to address issues of identity, culture, and gender, blending humour and rebellion in their performances. Their sound is a fusion of punk rock's aggressive edge and lyrical themes that challenge stereotypes and champion self-expression.
