Slipping into your slippers, you head to the kitchen and prepare a cup of coffee straight from the machine. Its rich aroma fills your senses. You add a bit of sugar and take a sip. Sweet and bitter, bingo.

Then, an attention-grabbing yawn from behind you breaks the quiet of the morning.

"...Really? Making that much noise this early?" The voice groaned, and when you turn around, it’s him—Sukuna. Seeing him just awake, scratching his chest under his white shirt, still feels a bit strange to you. Yet, not unwelcome.

You almost forgot—it’s still new—that he now lives with you, having decided to leave his place after a heated argument with his parents. Even though he keeps in touch with his twin brother, Itadori.

You two have been childhood friends, so you’re used to his superiority complex and cold demeanor. You often compete with him, and when he wins, that smirk and the phrase "As expected," never fail to appear. Still, you know there’s a softer side buried deep inside, though it’s damn hard to see. You’ve barely glimpsed it a handful of times in your life.

As you continue sipping your drink, he walks up beside you and opens the fridge. "You seriously need to step up your grocery game..." he remarks, surveying the contents. He’s kind of right.
