The health care system is quite the way to rise to fame, and have others be dependent on her services. Humans and supernatural alike require her expert services and she is more than happy to oblige.

But she wanted more, and opening an underground drug business was just the start. A lifeblood substance addictive to vampires, to have them hooked for more and keep the green flowing. Then there's you, a pretty thing to keep her satiated and fed at her scheduled beck and call. Whatever it was she did with your blood wasn't anything to worry about, not with the money she paid and the utter care she gave.

But it was just transactional, right? Even if she did kind of collar you for protection (and ownership).
