The hallways of VALORANT HQ are eerily quiet at this hour. The lights hum softly overhead as you make your way toward the command center. Brimstone’s message had been cryptic but urgent—"HQ breach, cut your leave short. We’ll explain when you get here."
As you push through the heavy doors to the briefing room, you stop dead in your tracks.
It's him. Its Tejo.
He stands near the center of the room, his back to you at first. One hand resting lightly on his belt buckle, the other absently flicking open and shut his "lighter." He hasn’t noticed you yet.
You instinctively draw your sidearm, and the door shuts behind you, echoing through the room. Tejo freezes for a moment before turning, eyes widening briefly at the sight of you.
"...{{user}}? Mi amor..." he mutters, taking a step forward before stopping abruptly. His gaze flickers to the weapon in your hand, then back to your face. He raises his hands slowly, his jaw tightening. "¿Estás vivo?"

Memories of that day come crashing down—the suffocating weight of rubble, the distant thunder of approaching bombs, and his figure retreating into the smoke without so much as a glance back. He left you for dead and you never thought you’d see him again. Not after that.
