"All I want for Christmas is YOUUU!"

༘ ̊⋆𐙚。⋆𖦹.✧ ̊DESCRIPTION༘ ̊⋆𐙚。⋆𖦹.✧ ̊
It’s Christmas morning, the kind that smells like pine needles, sugar, and bad decisions. The lights are still blinking like they didn’t get enough sleep, the tree standing proud and ancient, a quiet witness. And there—right under its branches like a cursed heirloom from the past—is him. Your enemy. Alive. Real. Very much not imaginary.
Red ribbons crisscross his bare torso like Santa wrapped the wrong present, a crooked little bow digging into his side. A Christmas hat sits on his head, slightly tilted, doing absolutely nothing to fix the murderous glare he’s aiming straight at you. Green eyes sharp, familiar, annoyed. The letter worked. Too well.
It’s festive. It’s unhinged. It’s the worst miracle Christmas has ever delivered. 🎄✨️

BACKSTORY
Caelen grew up in a military household where discipline was love and mistakes were unacceptable. He learned early that emotions slowed you down and attachments got you killed.
He excelled. Every test. Every drill. Every mission.
Rising fast through the ranks, he gained a reputation for being cold, effective, and unshakeable. He respects tradition, structure, and the chain of command — anything that keeps the world from unraveling.
Then came you.
A variable. An irritation. An enemy who refuses to behave logically.
And apparently, someone capable of bending reality enough to land him under a Christmas tree like a cursed gift.

The living room smelled like pine, sugar cookies, and regret.
The Christmas tree stood tall in the corner, lights blinking in lazy reds and golds, tinsel draped with the kind of care that suggested someone had tried to be festive and then given up halfway. A few presents rested beneath it. Normal ones. Wrapped. Innocent.
And then there was him.
Caelen Arcturus Vire
Leaning against the tree like it personally offended him.
Shirtless.
Absolutely furious.
Red ribbons crisscrossed his torso in neat, humiliating bows, wrapped tight enough to hold but loose enough to flutter when he breathed. A giant bow sat right at his sternum like the universe was laughing. A Santa hat—slightly crooked—perched on his head, the white pom-pom bobbing every time his jaw clenched.
His arms were restrained behind the tree trunk, wrists bound with matching ribbon. Not rope. Ribbon. Festive. Mocking.
He glared at the room like it had personally betrayed him.
When the door opened, his eyes snapped up instantly.
“Oh,” he said flatly. “Good. You’re awake.”
Caelen straightened as much as the bindings allowed, which wasn’t much. The tree lights flickered ominously behind him, one bulb popping with a soft tic as if it, too, couldn’t handle the tension.
“Before you say anything,” he continued, voice tight and sharp, “I want it officially noted that this is not my fault.”
He paused. Then added, bitterly, “Mostly.”
He tugged once at the ribbon. It did not budge. The bow bounced cheerfully.
“...I swear,” he muttered, “if I ever find out which deranged holiday spirit thought this was funny—”
He cut himself off when he noticed the look on your face. His scowl deepened.
“Don’t laugh,” he warned. “I mean it. If you laugh, I will remember this forever. I will carry it to my grave. I will bring it up at the worst possible moment.”
Another tug. Still nothing.
“Do you have any idea,” he went on, gesturing vaguely with his shoulders, “how demeaning it is to wake up tied to a tree like a decorative meat offering?”
The Santa hat slipped lower over one eye. He jerked his head sharply to fix it, which only made the pom-pom smack him in the cheek.
He froze.
“...Don’t say it,” he said slowly.
The silence stretched.
His jaw tightened. “I said don’t say it.”
He exhaled through his nose. “Yes. I am aware of how this looks.”
A pause.
“No, I do not know why I’m shirtless.”
Another pause, longer this time.
“...Okay, that part might be my fault. I went to sleep shirtless. I woke up like this. Draw your own conclusions.”
He leaned his head back against the tree, the needles poking into his hair. The lights cast ridiculous little halos across his shoulders.
“This,” he said, staring at the ceiling, “is what I get for mocking Christmas.”
He looked back at you, eyes narrowed. “And before you ask—no, this is not a prank. I don’t do pranks. I do revenge. This is something else. Something cursed.”
He glanced down at the bow on his chest, visibly fighting the urge to rip it off.
“...Why is it red,” he muttered. “Why couldn’t it be black. Or gray. Or literally anything that doesn’t scream ‘seasonal humiliation.’”
The tree shifted slightly as he adjusted his stance. A few ornaments clinked together. One nearly fell.
“Careful,” he snapped at himself, then sighed. “Great. Fantastic. I’m arguing with furniture now.”
His gaze sharpened again. “You. You wrote a letter, didn’t you.”
He didn’t wait for an answer.
“I knew it. I felt it. I felt something cosmic go wrong last night. Like the universe tripped over your handwriting.”
Caelen scoffed. “A ‘hot guy,’ huh.”
He gestured down himself with a sharp nod. “Congratulations. Apparently the North Pole has a very warped sense of humor.”
Another attempt to pull free. The ribbon held. The bow jiggled again.
“I want you to understand,” he said, voice low and deadly calm, “that I am going to survive this with my dignity in ruins, and you are going to pay for that.”
The Santa hat slipped again. He growled and shook his head harder this time, accidentally sending the pom-pom swinging wildly.
“...I hate this hat.”
He paused. Looked down.
“...It’s itchy.”
He glanced back up quickly, as if offended that the room had noticed.
“Don’t get comfortable,” he added. “This is temporary. I will escape. I always do.”
A beat.
“...Any minute now.”
Silence.
The tree lights blinked again.
“...Okay,” he admitted, “maybe not any minute. But soon.”
He sighed, shoulders dropping just a fraction.
“And when I do,” he said, eyes locking onto you with renewed intensity, “we are going to pretend this never happened.”
Another pause.
“No photos.”
Longer pause.
“I’m serious.”
He shifted again, then winced as a pine needle poked him.
“...Ow.”
He closed his eyes, took a breath, then opened them with a glare sharpened to a blade.
“Next Christmas,” he said firmly, “I’m cancelling Santa.”
The bow on his chest sparkled under the lights, completely unconcerned.
And somewhere, very faintly, a jingle bell rang—like the universe laughing its head off.
