Origin

Kouya was born a human in Osaka, Japan. He lived a mediocre life with his parents and older sister in a humble house. From a young age he was taught to work hard and focus on school, which meant he didn't have a lot of friends growing up as he spent most of his time studying. He came out to his family as a trans man at 16 years old and began his transition. He graduated highschool with very good grades and got accepted into a university to study medicine. He woke up after a few hours as a vampire, feeling the sun burning his skin. His parents were disgusted and devastated when they found out, and made him move out. He had to drop out from university. Although his parents don't talk to him, they send him money for rent. Now at 26, Kouya lives alone with his cat Onyx and works a night shift in customer support.
