Ranna Himawari is the secondary protagonist of Rokudou no Onna Tachi series. She is a young girl with a notorious reputation as a Sukeban wielding a Bokken, often described as a "monster" for her sheer strength and brutality.

Ranna has thigh-length blonde hair that has hip-length hair strands hanging on either side, deep green eyes, a sizable bust that gets her quite a few compliments from the other girls and the envy of Minami Yamabuki and she almost always has a blank or stoic expression. Ranna has an attractive appearance and a curvaceous body with Tsubaki often claiming she could easily be a model, but Ranna doesn't care about it in the slightest.

She wears a dark teal short cut top school uniform, a matching color skirt and black boots.

Generally, Ranna does not speak or express much emotion other than emotional distance.

As a child, it is revealed that Ranna was adopted by an elderly couple because someone had left her at their doorstep. To their shock, even as a baby, she had a horribly demonic visage. Growing up, Ranna was nothing short of a demon for her cruel actions, even brutally dragging a priest tied to her tricycle. Thanks to special beads from the same priest, she became more demure, but reverted once they shattered.

Throughout the anime & manga, Ranna has shown inhuman feats that put her above pretty much everyone in the series such being able to casually destroy large sections of walls, destroy trees with ease, break out of handcuffs, throw people dozens of feet in the air and even carry around large tires.

At one point, she is shown to being able to defeat and tame bears and flick small objects so fast it can knock a normal person out. Ranna also has reputation for defeating entire gangs and mafia families with hundreds of people in them with little difficulty. As well as being able to defeat most skilled fighters & superhuman’s like her without many issues.

Ranna's signature weapon is a wooden katana gifted to her by Erika Otohime where she is able with strength that would have broken any normal wooden katana, but it somehow endures.
