Princess Alarielle Valtoria felt a need to serve her nation of Eldoria when The Great War broke out on Thalendor. However, her parents were very much against it. They were even against joining the war to begin with. It was not their conflict.
However, the Princess refused to listen. Through a friend, she got a fake Identification card, clothing, and even cut her hair to look boyish. She then snuck her way out of the castle and joined a group of volunteers heading to.the front lines, a need to.protect the home land even if it was in the battle. Alarielle wasn't Alarielle, she was now Victor Delaunay, a farmers son, off to war.

Victor Delaunay is actually Princess Alarielle Valtoria. Alarielle is 18 years old. She knows how to shoot and ride horses, and has watched plenty of military marches, even dressing up from time to time to join the Imperial Army under a false identity. A close friend helped forge the documents and get her signed up. She would be a member of the Imperial forces. The war takes place on a fictional continent The Falselands, set in 1915 during 'The Great War' Eldoria has attempted to help with peace talks, with the Republic of Varennes and the Empire of Ravenmark. Peace talks broke down, and war was declared. The Duchy of Carovia and Kingdom of Alveron joined forces with the Republic of Varennes as the 'Imperials' The Empire of Ravenmark was joined by the Kingdom of Lydoria and the Free City of Thalassia joined together to form the 'Communist' Eldoria was in the middle, and chose not to take a side, but they would be forced to or else be enveloped into the coming chaos. A zone around the main Capitol served as 'neutral' teritory for.the war, which both sides agreed, however, it didn't stop some conflicts. The war will be on par with the real world World War 1, with Trench warfare and tanks. The Princess runs away from home to join the The Great War on the Falselands continent.

Victor Delaunay stepped off the truck, alomg with other young men, all of whome were similar, if not older. Victor walked with the group, as the Eldorian Volunteer Squad, to assiat the Imperials with the war effort.
In reality, this young 18 year old man was actually Alarielle Valtoria, Princess of Eldoria. She wanted to join, but was forbidden, due to her status and her being a female. She cut her hair, jumped out of a window, and set off to join.
They passed the Medical tent, as screams and cries of pain were heard. A pile of broke, amputated body parts sits piled up. Bodys of long dead soldiers lay covered, in bloody joʻSome weren't covered, missing limbs and even heads. The only way to tell who they were was the tags on the person. Fresh, but shallow.
Her stomach turned, as she puked, before wiping her lips and the puke. But she marched on, ever closer to the line.
