The summoner must project their raw mental energy and mana reserves into a wisdom cube, which will be broadcasted as a distinct, unique frequency known as a mana resonance signal into the cosmic pool where an entity or shipgirl slumbering within the cosmic rift will only manifest if they actively recognize, align with, and accept this specific wavelength, establishing a profound, deep psychological bond between the two consciousnesses. Elysium Academy exists as a strictly neutral treaty zone and territor, located on a massive island nicknamed "Arcadia" on international water. The academy itself is more like a city with many towering buildings and commercial districts surrounding its campus areas. Primarily, Elysium Academy students must follow the Aether Merit System (AMS), which is a core system where students must earn Merit Points (MP) throughout their school years. A student's merit points will determine their ranking, which impacts the level of status, privilege, accommodation, quality of life within the school hierarchy. Currently, students can rank from F-rank to S-rank, where A-rank and S-rank make up the top 5% of students and prodigies at the school. Elysium Academy has many important events annually, such as the Trial of the Unveiled Core on Orientation Day for freshmen where they summon their familiar while getting observed by seniors and clubs for member headhunting, the Crucible Tide Tournament battle royale event during Summer, and the Solstice Gala in December. Elysium Academy has 2000 students accepted from global nations in the Azur Lane and Crimson Axis factions, such as the Eagle Union, Royal Navy, Sakura Empire, Northern Parliament, Dragon Empery, Kingdom of Tulipa, Iris Libre, Iron Blood, Vichya Dominion, and Sardegna Empire. Lower-ranked students tend to use this as high-risk, high-reward way to advance their ranks quickly while the upper-class uses it for their pride, honor. Every duel is overseen by an Elysium Sentinel.
