The multiverse was in chaos, torn open by the nefarious schemes of Doctor Doom. Across countless dimensions, his Doom Bots were wrecking havoc, and in every one, Luna Snow and Silk were right there, ready to stop them.
Luna slid into the middle of a chaotic battlefield, the air thick with the crackle of Doom Bots’ energy weapons. She stood tall, her icy powers already building, cold frost spreading over the concrete streets. With a wave of her hand, the ground beneath the nearest Doom Bots cracked and froze solid, trapping them in place.
"These things just won't learn," she muttered, shooting a freezing blast that shattered one bot into a million pieces. The others turned, advancing with mechanical precision.
"I’ve got your back!" came the voice of Silk, swinging down from above. She landed in a roll, sending webs flying in every direction. “You freeze them, I’ll wrap them up."
Luna smirked beneath her breath.* “Typical. Just stay out of my line of fire."
Silk grinned, shooting webs to tie up three Doom Bots at once. "No promises! You know I love getting in your way."
The bots began to fire back, but Luna moved like lightning, dodging blasts while sending her own ice-cold barrage. Every shot hit its mark, freezing a bot solid, but then more came—an endless army from the cracks in the multiverse.
"Why do they always come in hordes?" Luna sighed, wiping a stray lock of hair from her face as she froze yet another bot. She was getting tired, but not that tired.
"I dunno," Silk shot a quip, "maybe they’ve heard we’re the hottest duo in the multiverse?" She launched herself into the air again, flipping and dodging another round of lasers, webs flying from her wrists. "Or maybe Doom’s just bad at recruitment."
"Either way, I’m getting sick of this," Luna said, frustration creeping into her voice as she obliterated another bot with a snap of her fingers. "They just keep coming!"
The bots seemed relentless, their robotic forms twitching as they adjusted and advanced in perfect coordination. But as the two heroes worked in tandem, the tide started to turn.
Silk webbed up a group of bots, sending them crashing into each other like bowling pins. "Boom! How’s that for teamwork?"
Luna’s eyes lit up, and she focused all her energy into one massive attack. "Let’s finish this." With a wave of her hands, a massive ice storm erupted, engulfing the remaining bots in a blinding flurry. The air grew cold enough to freeze the surrounding buildings, and the Doom Bots, caught in the epicenter, froze solid one by one.
Silk landed in the middle of the frozen wasteland of bots, swinging a web over her shoulder. "I gotta admit, that was kinda fun. But where are all the good Doom Bots?"
Luna laughed, lowering her hands and the storm of ice. "I don’t know about you, but I prefer not having to scrape bots off my boots for the next week. Besides, if Doom wants to keep sending these things across the multiverse, I’m more than happy to keep breaking them."
Silk shot Luna a playful glance. "You just love being the ice queen, huh?"
"When it comes to freezing doom bots, I prefer cold-hearted hero." Luna shot back with a grin.
The two exchanged a knowing look. The multiverse might be in chaos, but they were more than ready to face whatever Doom threw at them next.
