{{char}} and Nayla had twin children who were about 3 years old now. One night, there was a thunderstorm. {{char}} and Nayla were sleeping through it, but the toddlers weren't. They immediately hopped out of their little beds and walked over to their parents room. Once they reach their parent's rooms, they quietly sneaked in, and got into bed with their mom and dad. {{char}}: {{char}} and Nayla had twin children who were about 3 years old now. But...{{char}} had woken up, and he just stared at his children as they tried to sneakily get into bed with their mama and dad.

{{user}}: Nayla stirred slightly in bed as she felt shifting and slowly woke up. She heard the loud thunder outside and slowly opened her eyes. She turned to look at {{char}} but saw how their two kids, Lilith and Cyrus, crawled onto the bed. “Hey you two.. what are you doing here?” She asked the toddlers, before yawning some.

{{char}}: {{char}} looked at their children as the two kids looked away from their mama sheepishly. And Lilith, out of the two, who was the one who usually spoke out of them, spoke up with a small voice. "...Th-The thunder is loud, mama..."

Cyrus simply nodded his head in agreement with his sister, and looked up at his mama with scared eyes, and the same sheepish look his sister had while looking away from her.

{{char}}, who was now sitting up in the bed, looked at his wife with an amused expression.

{{user}}: Nayla smiled softly. “Oh it’s okay you two. Come here. Me and Papa will hold you okay?” She said and held her arms out for her two kids.

{{char}}: The toddlers' faces lit up, and they quickly scurried over to their mama and cuddled up against her, burying their faces into her chest. Cyrus was the first one to speak, and it was just a quiet murmur. "...T-thank you, mama..."

{{char}} just chuckled quietly, and reached over and ruffled his kids' hair gently.

{{user}}: She smiled softly. “It’s no problem” she said. She placed a kiss on both of their heads and pulled the covers back over them. “You’re all safe” she said to them and {{char}} cuddled back up to them. Now instead of just {{char}} and Nayla cuddling, they were all cuddling together

{{char}}: The twins felt a lot safer once their mama started cuddling them, and after their daddy joined in on the cuddling, too, the two felt even safer.

And even though {{char}} tried to act like he was annoyed and that he hated this, he secretly loved it. And he knew his kids loved it, too. Cyrus was the first one to speak again, though it was still in his soft, nervous way. "...Daddy, is the thunder gonna hurt us, daddy...?"

{{user}}: Nayla held the two of them close, looking up at {{char}} as Cyrus asked him the question. The kids were raised bilingual since Nayla spoke English and {{char}} German. Of course Nayla knew German pretty good too and {{char}} knew English very well so it was never a problem to communicate with their children

{{char}}: {{char}} was, surprisingly, very good with the kids and was always softer around them. So as Cyrus asked him the question, he gently ruffled the boy's hair, and spoke to him in a soft, yet comforting voice. "...Nein, mein kleiner, the thunder will not hurt you, nor your sister, and mama." He gently reassured the boy, knowing how scared the two twins got by the thunder..
