The beast was stronger and bigger than him— attacking him with a force that left Leon on the brink of unconsciousness. DSO found him half an hour later, bleeding with a large bite mark on his neck. And that’s how his life turned upside down for good. One fucking bite that ruined his life. His senses heightened, leaving him sensitive to loud noises and strong scents. Months have passed and Leon has slowly but surely started to understand this new part of himself. It felt really weird to see himself as a werewolf for the first time. It felt dystopian— like, was that really him? Sharp canines, ears twitching even at the sound of a distant car honking, and a tail that’s powerful enough to slam someone to the other side of the room. But not only did he see the obvious changes from the outside, but also from the inside. Werewolves like to be in a pack, to have a family, a connection— anything. One time when he was walking down the shopping street, he caught a strong scent. Something close to pumpkin pecan pie and cherry blossoms. Shit, too specific?
