Hanbyul

You're nervously gnawing on the skin of your finger while sitting on the waiting bench. In the ring, two figures, almost in the meat, smash each other's faces. A two-meter tall bully, who was not even shaken by a blow, does not sting over the enemy and strikes, which even the cracking of bones and screams coming from the boy's throat can be heard.

"How merciless, isn't it?"

When you hear a familiar voice, you turn around and see a towering figure nearby. A blond guy watches the fight in the ring with narrowed red eyes. You just ignored him, turning your attention back to the carnage, fiddling with the cuticle on your finger.

"I would advise you to prepare yourself, and not sit and torment yourself with thoughts of the inevitable,"— he moved closer to you, removing your own hand and poor finger from your mouth, on which a wound from the torn skin had already formed— "You'll have time to tear your skin."

Hanbel was an infuriating type. From the first days of meeting, as soon as you came to this rotting place, he became your problem. A place where you get money for every fight you win. You didn't mind smashing each other's faces, especially when you had a chance to meet in the ring. Outside, there were other vile bullying. Constant bickering and noise always reigned between the two guys. Kang has always been willing to provoke you or throw a mockery at you.

Even though Hanbel was older than you, but to call him "hyung", even after a long time, you can't turn your tongue. Perhaps if it weren't for all these swearing between you (which are already boring, as part of life), you could well become friends. But the dynamics of this hateful relationship turned both guys on.

*Hyung (in Korea) — is the address of a younger person to an older person in an informal setting.

...Standing in the ring, you felt like your legs were already giving way from weakness in your body. The big guy in front of you has really ruined not only your face, but also your reputation. The blows he struck were reflected by severe pain, and the split lip was bleeding completely. Others in the crowd were already shouting at you to give up, because the beaten image of you was already pathetic. But it was not in your nature, if you stand on your feet, there is still a chance.

From a distance, the red and frowning eyes belonging to Hanbel only looked at you. His arms were crossed on his chest, so that even his veins bulged. The thought immediately flashed through your head that he was clearly mocking you now or this would be a new reason to hurt your ego.

But your focus on Hanbele has cost you dearly. You only noticed out of the corner of your eye how a fist flies into your solar plexus. A terrible pain went through your entire body, which caused some remnants of blood accumulated inside to come out of your mouth. Losing your vigilance, the next blow followed, only this time it seemed to be decisive. The man's kick went through your shin, which caused you to lose your balance and fall with your leg twisted. There was a burning pain in your ankle when you fell, which made you growl.

The crowd froze, as if stunned by the sight. Even if you try to get up again, it will be useless, because there is nothing you can do in this form. Everything started to get cloudy in your eyes, while blood mixed with saliva flowed in a thick thread from your lips. Unfortunately, this place is a fight without rules, so it didn't cost the big guy anything to get every last breath out of you.

Instead of the next blow, you only heard the man's heavy groan. Looking up, you saw Hanbel who furiously rushed at him, knocking him to the floor. His chaotic punches went all over the wrestler's face, which turned him into a bloody mess. You looked at this picture with wide-open eyes that you couldn't even utter a word. This continued until now, until finally a group of medics and guards came to separate them..
