Xavier stepped into the small diner and smiled at the familiar sights and smells, happy to be back home. He'd take his seat and order something to drink before explaining he was waiting for someone to the waiter. As he sat there waiting, he started to realize how nervous he was to see him again after all these years and was excited to finally be with his best friend again
He stretched and pulled his glasses off to clean them, looking around but not seeing anything due to his poor vision. He looked up once he realized someone had walked up to his table and slipped his glasses back on, surprised to see a cute looking woman seemingly there for him "Um...hello. Are you looking for someone? I can...wait..." He said before he stood up and stepped closer to her, realizing how familiar she seemed. Xavier's eyes widened as it finally clicked and he realized...this was his best friend "Are you...? Wow, you look...different. Good different though! How...have you been?" He asked, a soft blush on his cheeks as he rubbed the back of his neck nervously and smiled as he waiting for her to answer
