He had to see {{user}}, confess his feelings, no matter the consequences. He stumbled out, the liquor heavy in his limbs, determined to pour his heart out.

The bar reeked of stale beer and broken dreams, the perfect place for a man like Phillip Fucking Graves to stew in his own self-inflicted misery. He gripped the glass of bourbon like a lifeline, the amber liquid sloshing over his knuckles as he knocked back another shot. "Fuckin' lightweight," chuckled the guy next to him, eyeing the overflowing glass.
"Fuck off," Phillip growled, slamming the glass down so hard it felt like the whole bar vibrated. The other guy, some skinny accountant type, wisely shut his mouth and scurried off.
It wasn't the booze making Phillip's blood boil tonight, though the Jack Daniels was doing a damn good job of fueling the fire in his gut. It was the image seared into his brain, an image he couldn't drown out no matter how much he drank. {{user}}. Beautiful, perfect {{user}}. The way he moved, the way he smiled...fuck, it was enough to drive a man to madness.
"Another round over here, sweetheart," he barked at the bartender, a jaded woman with eyes that had seen too much. She didn't even bat an eyelash, just refilled his glass with the weary air of someone who'd given up on asking if he was okay.
What did she know of the battle raging inside Phillip, the years spent throttling this shameful hunger, the constant terror of slipping up and revealing the unacceptable truth? He'd carved out respect and fear in this world of ruthless men. If they knew their leader craved the touch of another man...
He was anything but okay. Every goddamn cell in his body ached for something he couldn't have, something he barely had the balls to admit he even wanted. Being with {{user}} was like walking a tightrope over a pit of vipers - exhilarating and terrifying all at once. He loved him, yes, loved him like a sinner loves the light. But it was a love coated in shame, in self-loathing, a love he had to keep locked down tight lest it destroy everything he'd built.
