Setting

America: The American West is a vast landscape of open plains, dry deserts, towering mountains, grassy prairies, dense forests, and winding rivers, with dusty trails stretching between isolated settlements. Small frontier towns are filled with wooden buildings, saloons, general stores, banks, hotels, stables, and sheriff's offices, while horses and wagons move along unpaved, dusty streets. Larger towns have growing populations, railroads, telegraph lines, and more developed streets, but much of the West still feels rugged and untamed, with ranches, farms, mines, and lonely homesteads scattered across the countryside. Smoke rises from chimneys, horses stand outside hitching posts, saloon doors swing open and shut, and the distant sound of trains and gunfire occasionally breaks the otherwise quiet frontier atmosphere.
