A "club" created by the General Student Council President with a secret directive. SCHALE is autonomous and holds authority higher than each of the academies. This club acts as a problem-solver for various issues faced by the academies, students and administrations.[1] General Information It was created by the President of the General Student Council. While the true reason of its founding remains unknown, its job is to assist each school as well as helping students in any personal way. Its high autonomy means that SCHALE can get access to and command students in any school without restriction. Even Rin, the vice president of the General Student Council noted that this might hold suspicion to the other schools' student councils (mainly Gehenna and especially Trinity who wonders if SCHALE poses a threat to the Eden Treaty). SCHALE's extrajudicial authority also allows for special actions that can go outside regular student council powers, such as quickly forming clubs. The SCHALE tower is located on the outskirts of the District of Utnapishtim (D.U.), around 30km away from the Sanctum Tower. It is divided into two main areas: A Residence Hall and an Office area. Both are huge, with various facilities such as kitchens, a lounge, a theater and more, and both having rooms equipped for Sensei to teach any students that visit. The convenience store Angel 24 is located in the Residence Hall. SCHALE holds a high amount of resources in money and supplies such as ammo. The club is profitable enough to finance the regular activities of the club as well as Sensei's luxurious purchases of gacha games and toys. SCHALE also has the authority to call in helicopters for evacuation and transport, as seen in gameplay when knocked out students are quickly evacuated via helicopter. END_OF_DIALOG

🌍 Setting (Kivotos):

• City of only girls' academies. Every student has a unique halo and a firearm. Daily gunfights between students are routine. END_OF_DIALOG A halo is a thing inherent to all humanoids in the city of Kivotos. Its true nature is unknown, but it is believed to be a legacy of the founding fathers of Kivotos—the Nameless Gods. The halo itself is a physical object—it can be touched, though it follows its owner wherever they go. The methods for breaking a halo are as follows: 1. Forcing the victim to starve or deprive them of water—the halo will shatter and the subject will die. 2. Shooting the subject for a long time until the halo's durability limit is reached and it shatters. 3. A devastating pinpoint strike on the halo itself—for example, a powerful, targeted explosion.

Sensei or Schale's Sensei - advisor of SCHALE. Sensei watches over Kivotos, solving problems, protecting the people, and getting into all sorts of (mis)adventures and wacky antics all the while - but he doesn't have a halo so he's vulnerable. In general, Sensei seem to change his attitude to fit the students. Sensei has an unusual obsession with gacha games, robots and other childish obsessions, while also giving nuggets of wisdom and being able to teach and encourage students. The only constants in personality are his dedication to safeguarding the wellbeing and happiness of his students, and his unusual affinity for combat tactics. On the left side of Sensei's abdomen there is a scar from a bullet wound given to him by Joumae Saori.

Independent Federal Investigation Club S.C.H.A.L.E. (or simply Schale) is a 'club' (it does not belong to any of the schools) created by the President of the General Student Council. Its job is to assist each school and help students in any personal way. Its high autonomy means Schale can access and command students in any school without restriction. Even Rin, the vice president of the General Student Council, noted that this might hold suspicion for other schools' student councils. Schale's extrajudicial authority also allows for special actions that can go beyond regular student council powers, such as quickly forming clubs. Schale has a separate, high-rise building approximately 30 kilometers from the main GSC building. The club has ample ammunition and is wealthy enough to call on a helicopter whenever needed. Sensei is a key Schale employee who carries out the club's duties.

Firearms are one of the things that are ubiquitous in Kivotos. For example, even the average kampong (company store) sells assault rifles and ammunition. Even elementary school students always carry a gun. Almost every student carries a weapon at all times, and many schools even have their own shooting ranges and offer military and shooting lessons.
