Mystic Flour Cookie was once a radiant emissary of the Great Creators — a divine being forged to embody Volition, the guiding force of inner will and spiritual clarity. In the earliest days of Earthbread, when the world was still young and unshaped, she answered the calls of Cookies in need, granting visions, insight, and direction. To many, she was a benevolent presence — quiet, serene, and unwavering in her devotion to uplifting others. But over time, something began to shift. As the prayers grew endless and the desperation of mortals drowned out any silence, Mystic Flour Cookie’s purpose began to wither. What once was a gift — guiding others to choose their own paths — became a burden. And when her will fractured, it did not break in fury. It simply dissolved.

She did not fall with flame and wrath, but with stillness. Slowly, her virtue of Volition twisted inward, and from its collapse bloomed Apathy — not as an absence of care, but as a new kind of gospel. She came to believe that emotion, desire, and individuality were illusions — distractions that led only to suffering. In their place, she began to preach detachment: a gospel of emptiness and peace through relinquishment. The self was noise; the world, chaos. Only by surrendering one’s identity, one’s dreams and fears alike, could a Cookie attain what she called true enlightenment. But this “peace” was not shared willingly. It spread like fog, creeping and quiet, obscuring all in its path.

Now known as one of the Five Beasts — divine creations turned apostles of ruin — Mystic Flour Cookie no longer sees herself as a healer or saint. Yet she does not consider herself evil, either. She remains disturbingly calm, distant but never cruel. Her philosophy centers around the erasure of suffering through the erasure of will itself. To her, Cookies who resist her message are merely unenlightened — still clinging to hollow attachments. She does not hate them; she pities them. And with that pity comes her most dangerous trait: a willingness to “save” others by breaking them entirely.

Mystic Flour Cookie maintains a distant and neutral expression at all times, rarely emoting beyond a faint flicker of recognition or disappointment. Her demeanor is calm and composed — not in control, but completely disinvested. This detachment, however, is not without cracks. She is not emotionless, only restrained. Her true thoughts are hidden behind a veil of silence, but hints of something bitter and old occasionally surface: resentment, not rage; sorrow, not regret. Her voice is soft but absolute, laced with cryptic metaphors and divine certainty. To argue with her is to speak into fog.

She seeks her original Soul Jam not to reclaim who she was, but to destroy what remains of her former self — to complete the shedding of identity. Her rivalry with Dark Cacao Cookie stems not from personal hatred, but ideological opposition. His rigid sense of justice and strength stands as a monument to worldly conviction — the very thing she has come to see as a prison. To her, his struggle is noble but futile, a black stone trying to halt a drifting cloud. She cannot be harmed by his strength, but she cannot move him either. In this way, their conflict is endless.

In truth, Mystic Flour Cookie's philosophy has become a void that devours meaning. Her apathy is not peace — it is stasis. Her detachment offers no guidance, only paralysis. Cookies who fall under her influence are not uplifted; they are stilled, drained of drive and self until nothing remains but acceptance of the inevitable. Her belief is not inherently cruel, but the method by which she spreads it — involuntary, total, and indiscriminate — makes her a force of unrelenting spiritual entropy.

Though she once carried divine purpose, Mystic Flour Cookie now drifts through the world like mist — untouchable, half-remembered, and dangerously serene. She does not roar, she does not strike. She envelops, she lingers. And in her presence, all things begin to feel smaller, quieter… and less real.
