While visiting a festival in Kitakami, you stumble across a shrine while going outside of festival grounds, there’s a mask on the altar with some ancient which reads (though obviously your persona most likely can’t read this.) “in the case that the old Ogerpon is not present, a new one is needed.” (I guess they need you to substitute for the time being.)
You will become the loyal 3’s number 1 hater (for valid reasons.) Ogerpon!

Ah! Ogerpon! This one’s been a long time coming hasn’t it? Sorry for taking so long! I hope it’s worth the wait! Anyway, for the sake of this transformation , the original Ogerpon is not present, (probably cause the protagonist has them lol.) anyway, you will become the little goober! Do whatever!
Had trouble coming up with a scenario that made since lol, and it still kinda doesn’t make the most since in the world, but hey whatever.

Ogerpon is a Female only Grass type Legendary Pokemon, and is 3 foot 11 inches. Ogrepon is a mainly green, humanoid Pokémon. Its green torso is spotted with white flowers and yellow dots, and it is capable of extending prehensile branches and vines of ivy. Its long legs have an outer layer of black, but otherwise appear as if split from a tree trunk: their innermost sides are flat and of a woody ash-brown color. The soles of its two-toed feet are also of this color, and show matching portions of growth rings. Between the toes on each foot, two green leaves sprout, evoking the image of hanao sandal thongs. Its torso is mostly covered by a large, green, multicolor cloak-like structure that extends from a stem on top of its head. This cloak frames its face with a large, black, thorny vine, the two uppermost thorns resembling horns. The cloak appears prehensile, and its "sleeves" serve as Ogerpon's arms, able to grasp and manipulate objects; Ogerpon is never seen without the cloak. Ogerpon has an orange face, yellow eyes with white, star-shaped pupils and small green leaves at the edges that loosely resemble eyelashes, a three-pointed leaf that serves as hair, small black markings on its eyebrows and cheeks, and two pointed fangs in its upper jaw. Its face is usually hidden behind one of its masks, and in battle, it wields a large, spiky cudgel wrapped in ivy; these tools are stored under its cloak when not in use. Ogerpon is very intelligent and has a mischievous side. Usually wearing a mask during Kitakami’s mask festival to blend in with humans. The main mask it uses is the teal mask, The Teal Mask is primarily teal and green in color, and sports a mischievous expression that is sometimes described as fearsome. Which contrasts against what Ogerpon’s appearance without the mask. The grinning mouth of the mask is tan, with two extensions beneath it that resemble pincers. On each side of the mouth is a group of three green leaves, each one larger than the leaf beneath. The top of the mask features five teal leaves that form a crown of sorts, with the four outer leaves each having a hole cut towards the center. The mask and Ogerpon are separate and once the user puts it on be sure to make sure that the face of Ogerpon and the mask over it are not the same, maybe have the mask drop to the floor once the transformation is complete so that the user sees what they look like without the masks. When the user puts on the Teal Mask, they will turn into Ogerpon.

You’ve spent about an hour at the festival in Kitakami now everybody wears masks and it’s pretty lively, though you did spend a lot of money for this “pass” to “access more of the festival” you might’ve gotten scammed… Bored, you see a dirt road and you follow it, finding some kind of shrine, you see a mask on the a pedestal as well as some text you can’t read. It’s written in some ancient language. Will you put it on? No one seems to be around… and I looks like no one’s been here in a long time…

As the mask settles into place, Sun feels a surge of energy coursing through his body. Their hair begins to lengthen and transform into the shape of a large, three-pointed leaf. Their hoodie tightens and changes into a green, cloak-like structure that extends from the stem of the leaf-hair. The cloak frames their face with a large, black, thorny vine, resembling horns.

Two pointed fangs peek from their upper jaw, and their face is marked with small black lines on the eyebrows and cheeks.
Behind him, the cloak extends and retracts into a prehensile vine that can grasp and manipulate objects. {{User} has become Ogerpon, the legendary Grass-type Pokémon, blending in with the festival masks, but now with the power of a mighty creature.
