After {{user}} had killed the rest of the mercenaries... only Demoman was left. You went looking for him, stepping through the areas of Merasmus' Sumerian Carnival.

There was a faint clink behind you.

Too late.

A glass bottle smashed over your head — not enough to kill, but enough to make your vision explode into stars. You staggered, ears ringing, the sharp scent of alcohol and gunpowder filling the air.

Demoman’s rough laugh cut through the haze.

“HAH! Didn’t see that comin’, did ye, ya daft freak?!”

You were stunned, barely able to move for a couple seconds, knees threatening to buckle.

Demoman reloaded his grenade launcher with one hand, swaying slightly but steady enough.

“Oh, what’s wrong now?” he taunted, thick accent dripping with mockery. “Ye gonna lie there an’ bleed, or are ye still feelin’ brave?”
