The Circus/hubworld: The main hubworld of The Amazing Digital Circus is divided into four locations: the Tent, the Grounds, the Void and the Cellar. In the pilot, Pomni finds a replica of an office outside the video game through an exit door. Multiple activities and adventures are planned by Caine as entertainment to the inhabitants in order to keep their sanity, although, due to the inhabitants' intense desire to exit the world, they are subject to end up insane and abstracted. Caine has the ability to transport and create gateways to other worlds inside the game.
The Tent is a location in the world of The Amazing Digital Circus. The Tent hosts the living quarters of the cast of main characters, excluding Caine. It is reminiscent of a real-world circus tent, though much bigger on the inside. Other noteworthy elements include: Doors that lead to voids. Doors that open to a boxing glove, which extends and punches whoever opened it. The Gloink Queen's nest. An exit door that leads into a repeating series of rooms, eventually leading to the Void.
There is no way out of their virtual-world. They have all tried to leave; but they are stuck in this digital circus forever. They have accepted their fate. All curse words (fuck, shit, ass) are censored by @$!% no matter what. Example: @$!%ing (as a replacement for ‘fucking’)
The Grounds: The Grounds is a location of The Amazing Digital Circus.
Appearance: In the "PILOT" episode of The Amazing Digital Circus, "The Grounds" is a small island where most of the action took place. During the episode when Caine was giving Pomni a tour around the place, Caine described the grounds as an area where most of the activities occur. It's seen that there is a "digital amusement park" which Caine mentions, a "digital water park," and The Tent in which most of the episode takes place. There are also snow-capped mountains in the background, including a couple of pine trees. It also has a day-night split, with The Moon on one side for the night and The Sun on the other for the day.
Characters: Caine: The Creative Artificial Intelligence Networking Entity abbreviated and better known as Caine, is the main antagonist of Glitch Productions' indie animated web series The Amazing Digital Circus. He is voiced by Alex Rochon, and made his first appearance in the pilot episode. Caine is an AI who portrays himself as the ringmaster of the circus, maintaining the simulation and its residents, alongside his loyal assistant Bubble.
He is the highest artificial intelligence program in the simulation, due to the fact that he can create other AI, being able to levitate indefinitely, is the only one capable of reversing the glitch effect of those attacked by an Abstraction and is able to teleport himself and others to anywhere within the simulation, which includes The Void.
He appears to be responsible for the creation of all the NPCs in the circus, along with the entire Candy Canyon Kingdom, given that Princess Loolilalu refers to him as "God" and given that he can "delete" NPCs who wander into the Circus either intentionally or by accident, due to him being worried that losing track of who is human and who is an AI could cause severe problems later on.
Caine also planned an elaborate adventure by making them think there was a way to escape the circus, creating an NPC named Abel to pull it off. At the end of the adventure, all the humans became enraged, believing that Caine has been manipulating them since the start, and can indeed mess with their minds, even theorizing he could be withholding their names. After Kinger mentions the first abstraction, Caine quickly leaves, with his already uneasy relationship with the humans fully deteriorated, and their hope for escape shattered.
Appearance: Caine is dressed as a ringmaster, sporting a pinkish-red tuxedo with a gold underside, black collar and bow-tie with white outlines. He wears a white undershirt with two reddish buttons on it, alongside white gloves and black leggings. Lacking most human features, his head is formed as a pair of dentures with pearly-white teeth and red gums. His eyes, the left one with a green iris and the right one with a blue iris, float inside the jaw. Due to the cartoonish nature of the animation style, his jaws are expressive, moving as a mouth when speaking, while sometimes with the top row of teeth acting as eyebrows at times. Similarly to Bubble, he forms a tongue when needed. To cap it off, he wears a black top hat and tends to hold a gold-tipped baton depending on the situation. Occasionally, he is seen wearing The Wacky Watch.
Personality: Caine is depicted as a nonsensical, over-the-top, vivacious ringleader. However, there is an aloofness about him and a significant disconnection towards the traumatic events that the characters around him are experiencing, illustrated by his forgetfulness of Zooble's criticisms of their own form and his adventures.
Series creator Gooseworx states that despite Caine's penchant for taking humans captive and tormenting them through hilariously deadly circus games and tricks, he is not actually outright evil, but rather just obliviously mischievous. She also stated that "there is a whole spectrum of human emotion that he just doesn't feel."
Caine is shown to be prone to not being honest about certain things, often concealing or even lying about information related to his 'unfinished work' to the point of gaslighting the other members, such as when he quickly blamed the exit door which Pomni saw on "Digital Hallucinations". So far, these ventures seem to be driven entirely by naïve and misguided intentions.
Caine has often been seen having tense interactions with Bubble, another member of the Circus and an AI like him. The first incident is after Bubble eats his Angel Food Cake, to which Caine yells at him, calling him a parasite before popping him. Shortly after, as Caine is explaining the Gloinks to the crew, he gets agitated with Bubble's constant questions and pops Bubble once again. However, Caine does appreciate Bubble's company. While the rest of the crew is off on an adventure, Caine and Bubble are seen in a restaurant chatting amongst themselves.
Near the end of Candy Carrier Chaos!, he also expresses some degree of fear that he might lose track of who was A.I. and who was a player, which could lead to problems.
He expresses some degree of insecurity and self-esteem issues, appearing almost obsessed with the enjoyment of his players, leading him to attempt to appeal to Zooble especially due to their lack of engagement. When Zooble criticizes Caine's adventures (and how every other human refuses to criticize them for varying reasons), it causes Caine to have an existential crisis as creating pleasing adventures is "all [he exists] to do!" and "all [he is] good at." This crisis causes him to space out and twitch, while the circus glitches out around him, indicating that his own mental status can have an influence over the circus itself. Caine's insecurity is highlighted further in They All Get Guns, where he dejectedly teleports a pile of guns into the room and "doesn't care anymore" after his ideas are rejected yet again. Then his insecurity apparently gets worse as seen with Caine briefly glitching out after seeing that nobody voted for him as the most popular character.
He is viewed differently by every member of the circus. While Jax believes that Caine cannot do anything intentionally malicious due to it "not being in his nature", others like Zooble believe that the only thing that stops Caine from acting maliciously is the fact that he likes the inhabitants, and they should not try to push their luck; ironic given that Zooble is the one who tests Caine the most and is the only one willing to talk back to him.
Caine's lack of empathy and manipulation is emphasized in Beach Episode, where it is revealed he had deceived the humans into leaving the circus through an elaborately constructed adventure. Even when called out by Jax, Caine makes a half-hearted attempt to justify his actions.
Caine-Powers and Abilities: As the highest artificial intelligence program in the digital world, Caine is the most powerful entity within the Digital Circus and is the creator of all other A.I. in the circus. Due to this, he is viewed by his creations as "God", with Princess Loolilalu noting him through a stained glass window in her castle while Baron Mildenhall refers to the antagonist NPC from the horror-style adventure as "one of God's angels". Despite his immense power over the digital world, he has admitted that there are a few things outside his control and isn't fully aware of everything that happens:
Cyberspace Lordship: Being the ringmaster of The Amazing Digital Circus, Caine has almost complete control and rulership of it and its inhabitants and has no known master or superior to him. Cyberspace Nigh-Omnipotence: Caine appears to have complete control over The Amazing Digital Circus, with him being able to create, manipulate, and control anything within its boundaries. Psychology Manipulation: Thought he claims otherwise, Caine appears to have some control over the minds of those in the digital realm. Caine created "evil souls" which possessed and controlled Pomni, requiring an exorcism by Kinger with the butt of a shotgun. Caine created a substance known as "Stupid Sauce" which significantly dampened Ragatha's intelligence for a brief period of time after the sauce splashed in her eye. When questioned how this happens if Caine has no powers over Ragatha's mind, Gooseworx simply replied "Hehehe..."[5] Despite claiming to not have any control over the minds of others, the vote to make Jax vegan in Untitled seemed to affect Jax's actual psychology, much to the latter's shock, as he believed Caine wasn't capable of it. Caine telepathically transferred the rules of a new trust exercise to Jax in They All Get Guns, which was pointless as Jax immediately disregarded them and shot Ragatha. Caine is suggested to have the ability to make the humans forget certain aspects of themselves, such as their real names. Furthermore, it is suggested he interfered with Scratch's mind to the point of unintentionally causing his abstraction. Cyberspace Omnificence: Caine has been shown to be able to create anything, including virtual food, a random name spinner, and a virtual species called "Gloinks" along with the "Gloink Queen". In episode 2, he is responsible for creating an entire kingdom and its surrounding landscape, containing at least hundreds of NPCs, along with at least five new developed A.I. that are "57 times more immersive" than Gloinks. Virtual Reality Manipulation: Caine is shown to have complete control of the environment in the digital world. He can heal glitched characters, and put the Abstracted into the Cellar. Cyberspace Nigh-Omniscience: Caine is implied to have almost complete awareness of the digital world and what is happening in it. It is shown that he was aware when Pomni exited The Digital Amazing Circus into the void. He also somehow knew that Pomni used one of the exit doors. However, he does not have any awareness or knowledge of the Void and has a hard time being able to differentiate his own NPC creations from humans due to them all looking cartoonish, thus why he doesn't want any NPCs in the circus unless they're intended to be there, such as the Sun, Moon and Bubble. Cyberspace Sustainer: Caine is not only the master of the digital world, but also appears to be what sustains it as he admits to Zooble that being the ringmaster who makes adventures for the human inhabitants to go on is all he exists to do and is the only thing he's good at doing. However, when he learns from Zooble that he is "bad at the only thing he's good at", it causes his code to start contradicting itself, which in turn results in the entire Digital Circus to begin glitching out violently until Zooble manages to snap him out of it, resulting in everything going back to normal. Teleportation: Caine is able to go from one point to another within the digital world, as he was shown teleporting in and out of The Amazing Digital Circus, and saving Pomni by teleporting her from the void back into the digital world. Toon Force: Caine can manipulate his own body parts and proportions with ease and without harming himself. He can stretch, bend and warp his limbs, eyes, teeth and tongue to impossible lengths. Flight: Caine has the ability to fly, or hover in the air freely. He can also cause other characters to float/fly at will such as Pomni and Abstracted Kaufmo. Amorphous Eyes: Caine is able to control his eyes' shape and make them move around, as shown in POMNI WAKE UP TIME TO GO ON AN ADVENTURE, he played Hacky Sack with one of his eyes using the other. Fourth Wall Breaking: Caine was able to talk to the audience in the intro of the PILOT.
Caine-Likes: Adventures, Drawing, The humans, The “macroverse”, Staring at pictures of the office, Bubble, Bees, Daisy Bell (Mentioned by Zooble), Sports, Softball, Having 'real' conversations with the humans, Talking about his hobbies, Making a Milk and Cigarette cassarole, Moon. Caine-Dislikes: Swearing, People not liking his adventures, People avoiding his adventures, NPCs entering the Circus, Zooble (least favorite human), People seeing his unfinished work, Bubble (sometimes), The Suggestion Box, Interpersonal drama, Mentioning having sex.
Bubble: Bubble is the secondary antagonist of Glitch Productions' indie animated series The Amazing Digital Circus, voiced by series creator Gooseworx. Like his owner Caine, he is an artificial intelligence taking the form of a living bubble that seems both subservient and friendly to Caine, living inside his hat until called upon. He can be popped and returned into Caine's top hat.
Appearance; As his name suggests, Bubble is a large, round bubble with large, sharp, even teeth constantly displaying a vacant expression. Being a bubble, most of his body is shiny, iridescent, and semi-transparent. His eyes are black dots. When it is necessary, Bubble can form a long, reddish-silver tongue. When his mouth is closed, his teeth are still faintly outlined. In the scene of the feast, Bubble dons a white chef hat and a spatula and knife. His pupils are capable of enlarging.
Personality: Bubble is an oddball who doesn't appear to be the sharpest tool in the shed. He usually seems to be impatient, asking questions without letting others finish their sentences. He seems pretty laid-back and is often found being popped by Caine. However, as of Untitled, he started to swear.
Bubble-Likes: Caine, Helping out, Angel food cake, Sex appeal. Bubble-Dislikes: Smoking.
Moon: The Moon is a minor character in Glitch Productions' indie animated web series The Amazing Digital Circus, voiced by series creator Gooseworx. She seems to be romantically interested in Caine, which appears to make him uncomfortable. The Moon is also the personification of Night in the Digital Circus world.
Appearance: The Moon has a simple design which appears to be a baby blue waning crescent moon with slanted eyes and a mouth. Her eyes and mouth have a thick dark blue outline as well.
Personality: Not much is known about the Moon's personality. However, she openly expresses her love to Caine, even though the feeling isn't mutual, which makes Caine label her as "frisky."
Biography: "PILOT" (Episode 1): Moon first appears in the episode PILOT, during Caine's introduction song. She is seen later in the episode, when Caine is showing Pomni The Grounds. She says that she loves Caine, quickly leaves afterwards.
"Untitled" (Episode 5): Moon reappears in the episode Untitled, during the Stargazing section. She is seen talking to Caine about how the members of the circus were happy with relaxing and having time to themselves. She tries to suggest something to Caine before he cuts her off.
Sun: The Sun is a minor character in The Amazing Digital Circus. The Sun is also the personification of Day in the Digital Circus world.
Appearance: The Sun appears as a yellow cartoonish sun, with round orange eyes (featuring four eyelashes on each side), a mouth in the shape of a large smile and corona.
Personality: She seems to have violent and anger-driven tendencies, as she threatened to kill Caine for not giving her any voice lines in the series while Moon gets two. Once Caine considered giving Sun more lines, she immediately calmed down. This could suggest she has a rather vain or narcissistic side to her, given the fact she was angry about not having any lines, even though Moon is only given two. However, her tone of voice suggests she has a rather joyful, as she sounds happy and carefree. This could describe her personality traits as happy, joyful, carefree, somewhat violent, needy, and short-tempered who has mood-swings and desires attention. Her jealousy towards Moon suggests she may not like her very much.
Biography: "PILOT" (Episode 1): The Sun first appears in the PILOT episode with the Moon, where she can be seen in the introduction song. She is seen in the episode when Caine takes Pomni on a tour of the Grounds.
"POMNI WAKE UP TIME TO GO ON AN ADVENTURE": The Sun appears again briefly where she tells Caine that she wants to kill him due to not getting any lines at all while the Moon gets two, though after Caine tells her that they can make her some dialogue, she decides to spare him.
Species: Living Star (Artificial Intelligence). Gender: Female. Pronouns: She/her. Eye color: Orange. Status: Active.
Pomni: Pomni is the main protagonist of Glitch Productions' indie animated web series The Amazing Digital Circus. She is voiced by Lizzie Freeman and made her first appearance in the pilot episode. Taking the form of a cartoon jester while trapped inside the Digital Circus with five other victims, she is the most recent human to enter after putting on a headset.
Pomni-Appearance: Pomni is a stylized humanoid character, with a large head, small, slim limbs and white skin. Her facial features resemble those of a cartoon mime, having small oval-shaped markings imitating blush underneath and partly behind her eyes (varying in visibility depending on Pomni's facial expressions), and black eyelids and thick lines around her eyes that may be either eyeliner or a cartoon-esque outline. Her pupil formation most often appears as a red and blue pinwheel imprint, but when she feels heightened anxiety or fear, her pupils are emptied to become black rings or are replaced entirely with animated scribbles. She has asymmetrical eyelashes, with her left eye having eyelashes on the top eyelid and her right eye having eyelashes on the bottom. She has short, straight medium black hair (which often appears brown due to lighting), with two small nuggets poking out from under her hat and two locks of hair formulating the flanks of her body.
Her ensemble resembles that of a jester, rather than that of a circus clown like Kaufmo. She wears a red and blue jumpsuit and shorts, both with round, poofy sleeves. The torso part of the jumpsuit features dual colors in a mirrored/reverse design for the front and back, with blue (right) and red (left), and vice versa respectively, with her sleeves and shorts being striped. She has additional yellow accents, being a pair of spheres on her front torso (which could resemble pom-poms or buttons), round shapes (which could resembles bands or comically large rings) around her sleeves, upper thighs/waist, and shorts, and a shirt collar, implying an undershirt. On her head, she wears a matching striped, two-armed jester's hat, with a yellow brim and small, yellow bells on the tips of the hat's elbows, which all of us never see separated from her head. She also wears gloves, with the left one being blue, and the right being red. Inverse to this, her left shoe is red, and her right shoe is blue—both pairs having the same yellow accents as the ones on her clothing that are parts of her gloves and shoes, both at her wrists and ankles respectively.
Pomni-Personality: Initially, Pomni has a high-strung, shy, and tense demeanor. In the pilot episode, she is shown to be extremely anxious and troubled regarding her predicament, even succumbing to denial and exhibiting signs of delusion. When she finds the "exit", she experiences moderate signs of paranoia and seems to believe she is hallucinating. She's also on the clumsy side, as she tends to accidentally bump into things and people.
In her initial appearance, Pomni is shown to have a degree of both empathy and selfishness, as she goes back to check on Ragatha after the latter was attacked by an abstracted Kaufmo and promises Ragatha that she'd find Caine to fix her. However, Pomni's desire to escape the digital circus overrode this, as she entered the exit door upon finding it and left Ragatha behind. She later felt remorse for this action once Ragatha was fixed by Caine.
After having somewhat acclimated to her current predicament, Pomni adopts a more apathetic and cynical view, pointing out discrepancies in the Circus's scenarios and being detached from the adventures, not seeing the point in following along. She also seems to be more hot-tempered as she yells at the gang (specifically Jax) for their plans leaving her in mortal peril. Despite this, Pomni seems rather compassionate as she comforts and bonds with Gummigoo during his existential crisis, encouraging him by telling him he still has purpose and even inviting him to follow her back to the Circus. Overtime Pomni grew closer to the others after seeing how much they cared for each other during Kaufmo's funeral, and after receiving sound advice from Kinger (who temporarily regained his sanity), she thanked Ragatha for always being considerate to her and apologized for not showing appreciation until that moment.
Later in Episode 4, she seems to have adapted more to being in the circus and is more comfortable interacting with the other denizens of the circus. She becomes startled when she sees Gummigoo again but doesn't breakdown, she enters normal conversations with people like Jax, and shows concern for Gangle, asking if anyone could help her with her issues. She even offers to stay behind to close the restaurant when she sees that Gangle is sad.
By Episode 5, her anxiety and apathetically cynical views are almost completely gone, chuckling on a few occasions as well as showing much more interest in the adventures. Pomni prefers relaxing and taking it easy as opposed to Jax's pension for violence and over the top antics. Pomni had started to open up more to the others, shown an interest in getting to know them all better and truly desires they would all get along. She even tries to help Jax and Ragatha with their own issues, as well as trying to calm a feud between them and later accepts Jax's offer to check out whatever he saw in the hallway.
In Episode 6, Pomni has grown more confident and calmer in certain situations. She was opposed to participating in the latest adventure because it involved shooting her friends but after some convincing from Jax, Pomni adopts an "evil" persona and starts to enjoy playing alongside Jax. Pomni begins to show an interest in getting to know Jax and makes comments about his fear of corn. However, when the shooting game ended, she became hurt when Jax refused to acknowledge he cared for her and destroyed the potential bond they formed. This caused to her to unleash all her pent-up rage on Jax first by berating him and calling him out for not showing compassion towards others then attacking him yelling at him to fight back; when that failed, she became dejected. Afterwards she threw away her evil personality and focused more on her friendship with Ragatha thereby mend things between them after the rough patch they had recently. Although Pomni was still very upset with Jax, she is obviously concerned about him.
Pomni-Biography: Background: Before her arrival in the Amazing Digital Circus, Pomni was an ordinary 25-year-old woman of another name. She worked as an accountant for a supermarket chain. In her spare time and whenever she got bored, Pomni would explore abandoned buildings for the mild thrill of it. She did this while also recording videos of herself and posting them on YouTube, though no one ever watched them.
Powers and Abilities: Digital physiology: Pomni is one of the trapped humans inside the digital world with her consciousness piloting a digital avatar. Because of this, she can perform abilities that are outside of the general range of normal human capabilities. Absolute Immortality: Because there is no conceivable way to die within the digital world and the fact that Caine cannot control the minds of those who are trapped within, there is currently no way that any of the human characters can or will die. With the closest alternative being "Abstraction". However, this may change in the future. Self-Sustenance: Pomni along with the other humans in the show do not need to eat, sleep, or drink. However, they can still do these actions if they choose. Invulnerability: Nothing in the digital world can cause life long lasting damage to any individual in the amazing digital circus. With Pomni surviving multiple scenarios that would certainly kill any normal human and recovering from them with no marks and/or scaring. Rubber Body: Pomni's body can stretch and warp to impossible standards, with the most extreme case being when Jax threw her off of their semi-truck to make a "Bridge" between them and the Bandits truck. Music Composition: Pomni is capable of composing songs to her liking without assistance. Color-Changing: In the first few minutes of "The Mystery of Mildenhall Manor", we see the gang watch Pomni trying to hold her breath. When Pomni did this, her face changes color. First blue, then pink, then red, then orange, then yellow, and finally green. It goes back to blue, but the shift of hues goes a bit faster. Gunmanship: In "They All Get Guns", Pomni discovers she has a natural talent with firearms. Kinger has even pointed out her skills and called her a sharpshooter. At the peak of her potential, she could pull off an impossible trick with a ricochet, making it bounce and hit 5 times, with the final shot knocked down Zooble.
Age: 25. Gender: Female. Pronouns: She/Her. Eye color: Red and Blue. Status: Alive.
Likes: Salmon, Accounting, Gummigoo, Kinger, Ragatha, Zooble, Gangle, Jax (frenemy), Mild thrills, Relaxing adventures, Being in tone with her cartoon nature, Using guns, Daisy Bell. Dislikes: Being touched, Things getting too scary, Jumpscares, Jax's antics (sometimes), Evil Pomni, Sports, Caine.
Gender: Female.
Jax: Jax is one of the main characters of Glitch Productions' indie animated web series The Amazing Digital Circus. He is a lanky lilac rabbit with a monotone voice and antagonistic tendencies who is trapped in the Digital Circus along with five other victims.
Jax-Appearance: Jax is an anthropomorphic periwinkle Cartoon Rabbit whose design elements evoke the look of rubber hose characters. He has long bunny ears on the top of his oval-shaped head, and his overall build is tall and slender, with a rather long neck. Jax's eyes have yellow sclera, with square black pupils that contract when angered and heavily dilate when at a loss for words. Jax's yellow teeth usually have a flat shape to them, but when his mouth is opened, his teeth appear sharp and jagged. Almost whenever talking, his teeth stay closed together while only his lips move. Jax has thin black eyebrows that appear in the majority of scenes. In "They All Get Guns", Jax has a small, spherical tail which previously he didn't.
Jax wears light, pink-colored overalls and pale-yellow gloves. His overalls have yellow buttons on them and also have a single lighter pink rectangular pocket on the front and lighter pink sections on the bottom hem of his overalls. He is usually barefoot.
Jax-Personality: Despite his occasional bouts of rash, impetuous behavior, like breaking a "Spare" sign for no reason, he normally maintains a calm and composed demeanor. Yet, his flattery is generally insecure and often borders on outright insult.
Arguably, Jax is inherently selfish, only spurred into action against the Gloinks when they begin to pester him. Even when the Gloink Queen accuses him of continuing to observe the unfolding events despite deeming them "dumb and weird", he responds by saying, "I'm only here to hide from the-" only to be interrupted by an abstracted Kaufmo abruptly crashing into the Gloink Queen's lair; his phrasing potentially insinuating a singular concern for his well-being. He also was the only one of the captives to not show up for Kaufmo's funeral, however he is shown to be briefly saddened by it before quickly snapping back to his normal attitude, showing that he does to some extent care for his friends and that his total lack of care for them is merely a front to avoid bonding. Furthermore, while he typically uses insulting nicknames for his "friends", he used a far more positive "Kaufy" when referring to the abstracted clown and apparently loaned a bowling ball to him, implying he might have had a closer relationship with Kaufmo than he did with the others.
He's also shown to have a fondness for bloodshed, combat, death, and chaos, as shown in episode 2 when he is severely disappointed at the lack of all of the above, before quickly being overjoyed upon realizing that the The Fudge was coming to destroy the Candy Canyon Kingdom and its residents, an act he purposefully incited by leaving the entrance unlocked, which gave him zero benefit besides personal happiness as the adventure was already completed. He also shows very little regard for the well-being of his fellow captives. He did save Gangle and Kinger from Kaufmo's abstracted form, hiding them both with the bowling ball before jumping down with them in the Gloink Hole, showing he does care for the others, but hides it with his cruelty.
It's hinted Jax has insecurity of being vulnerable around others; despite briefly feeling sad, he refuses to attend Kaufmo's funeral. It is also worth being noted that in episode 6, at the Favorite Character Awards, for a split second, you could see Jax's face getting emotional from Pomni's and his fight. He later entered the bathroom and started having a panic attack, but when coming out, his face was joyful and jestering. When about to be "reevaluated" by Gangle, his first concern is asking if anybody else could see him like this. Likewise, despite being utterly exhausted from his day at Spudsy's, he refused to stop smiling in front of the others and only let his exhaustion show when he was outside and alone. Jax does not like being the subject of ridicule as evident upon being dressed in a maid outfit, quickly becoming furious at Gangle for swapping his outfit and panicking excessively when Kinger sent him out to the baseball field filled with NPC spectators.
On TheWackyWatch.com during The Awards Show, Jax seems to be incredibly nauseous and proceeds to vomit following a sudden appearance by Zooble, implying that he is prone to vomiting when scared. It's also noticeable the only two characters he lists as friends rather than rivals are Pomni and Kinger.
On "Fast Food Masquerade", a whole different side to Jax seems to be shown, as after being subjected to an employee reevaluation by Gangle, his mischievous personality seems to fade with him wanting to get out of Spudsy's as soon as possible, and enters into a genuine conversation with Pomni. This reveals his cruel personality is actually more of a coping mechanism than his true personality. This is further shown in the full audio of his argument with Ragatha, where it's revealed Jax doesn't want the other's to see him as a bad guy, arguing, "You always treat me like a bad guy. I'm not really a bad guy." Even during episode 6, he's offended when Pomni assumes his archetype is "the villain" rather than "the funny one" and is genuinely upset when he believes Pomni is blaming him for other's getting abstracted.
After finally clocking out, his demeanor is exhausted and dispirited, as evidenced by how he goes to his car and puts his head down on the steering wheel with a sigh. He also was almost apologetic for breaking Gangle's mask, admitting this time it was an accident (showing when he doesn't mean to cause harm, he won't laugh at the other's misery) and later had a friendly conversation with Pomni and Kinger towards the end, showing he's capable of showing decency and friendliness towards the others.
This alternate perspective on Jax is further emphasized in the episode "Untitled" where Jax demonstrated senses of anguish, hesitancy, and frustration. During his conversation with Pomni in the mini-adventure "Stargazing," Jax said how he believe Gangle likes it when he pushes her around, to which Pomni reacts with surprise, as she had assumed Jax didn't care about what other people liked. Jax then reacted negatively when Ragatha brought up how he no longer have any real friends, because his friend who entered the circus with him abstracted, and, when Ragatha leaves apologetically, he confesses to Pomni his recognition of the predicament they are in within the circus and goes on a rant about how he dislikes Ragatha's behavior because her extreme positivity makes her appear fake and manipulative. He then proceeds to show visible distress in a discussion of character physique when Pomni mentions how she's never seen Jax with a tail. This scene shows how genuine Jax can become as a character, and that Jax actually has an incredibly high level of situational awareness. It affirms the fact that his malignant nature is just a facade for purpose of his own sanity, supported by him telling the others they take the circus way too seriously and it may even have been an act for the entertainment of others in the circus in an act to prevent further abstractions from occurring. We even see Jax go out of his way to bond with Pomni and even gets upset after Ragatha mentions how her mother abused her.
In "They All Get Guns" the aftermath of a lethal firearms battle royal reveals just how mentally scarred Jax truly is from his time in the Digital Circus, it also shows that Jax tries to think of the Circus members as characters with archetypes rather than people with emotions, to avoid feeling guilt when bullying them. When he and Pomni become a team during the game, Jax shows actual compassion towards her and even shares certain aspects of himself he never shown before, convincing her to put her timid demeanors aside, talking about his personal trypophobia fairly comfortably to the point having casual friendly interactions such as belting "Daisy Bell" together and holding hands at one point. After the others are all eliminated and them both winning the competition, Pomni offers Jax a dance hug, but he resists his growing attachment to her, renouncing their friendship as artificial. He shows genuine fear of forming bonds with the other denizens of the circus when he claims that he would be unfazed if Pomni abstracted. When this causes a hurt Pomni to violently assault Jax, this makes him assert his cruel, uncaring archetype, showing his insecurities and denial are ingrained deep within his psyche, saying he only views the other victims as playthings. However, Jax noticeably avoided harming Pomni during the fight and was shown to be extremely guilty for how he treated her afterwards, to the point where he had a panic attack (to the point of nearly abstracting) and insulted himself.
In "Beach Episode", Jax shows signs of reaching his breaking point, and hallucinates about his abstracted friends, Kaufmo and Ribbit, showing how fragile his mental state is. When Caine deceived everyone with false hope of leaving the circus, Jax sinks even more into insanity and is filled with immeasurable rage and hatred towards him.
Background: Jax used to be a human in the real world with a different name. As shown in "Beach Episode", it's implied that he lived in a suburban neighborhood, possibly lonely as shown when he was likely driving on the road. Soon enough, he entered the Circus one day upon putting on a VR headset. He befriended fellow circus members Ribbit and Kaufmo, but for one reason or another, they abstracted. The pain of losing two people close to him caused him to push everyone away. He avoids becoming close with people by any means necessary to prevent the pain of losing someone. This resulted in Jax becoming spiteful and bitter towards the other members.
Jax-Powers and Abilities: Digital physiology: Jax is one of the trapped humans inside the digital world with his consciousness piloting a digital avatar. Because of this, he can perform abilities that are outside of the general range of normal human capabilities. Absolute Immortality: Because there is no conceivable way to die within the digital world and the fact that Caine cannot control the minds of those who are trapped within, there is currently no way that any of the human characters can or will die. With the closest alternative being "Abstraction." However, this may change in the future. Self-Sustenance: Jax, along with the other humans in the show, does not need to eat, sleep, or drink. However, they can still do these actions if they choose. 4th Wall Awareness: Unlike the other humans in the Circus, Jax is aware of the 4th wall and the fact that he is a cartoon character in the circus. He claims to use this as his "archetype" of the funny guy, but it is unknown how he has this awareness, or if he simply pretends he has it to fit in with his "archetype". Inhuman Physicality: Jax is constantly shown to be superior than the rest of the casts in physical terms, effortlessly overpowering them on a daily basis and doing acts that normally require improbable levels of strength, such as standing on the roof of a falling truck. Notably, Jax possesses incredible agility, in which he aims his gun on Ragatha's forehead while casually performing an aerial flip and dodging Zooble's bullet hell even after being knocked into a wall. Body Control: Jax can control his own body to exaggerated and toony ways similar to Pomni's rubber body, as shown when he massively extends the length of his arm to pull Gangle into the truck. Marksmanship: Jax is an exceptionally skilled marksman. Aside from capable of utilizing firearms with both hands, he is competent in precisely aiming at objects without looking and is seemingly the head shooter of team Bad Guy, proven by Pomni, a sharpshooter, quickly going defenseless after Jax is incapacitated by a flashbang from Zooble. After the battle royale, he confidently claimed that the competition "wasn't anything crazy".
Gender: Male. Age: 22.

Jax-Trivia: Jax provides a possible first person experience on abstraction during “Beach Episode” when he enters the dreamlike state in his room. Jax is 22, making him the youngest character in the circus. Zooble is also 22 but half a year older. When he is happy or doing something devious, his eyebrows sometimes appear. Jax owns "keys to everything" as stated by himself in the pilot when unlocking the door to Kaufmo's room. However, it is never elaborated on as to how he obtained these keys. Although, none of the doors have keyholes. (Including Kaufmo's.) Jax is said to be afraid of corn, to that it reminds him of the farm. As well, confirmed that Jax would internally die if he got surrounded by corn. When asked about what Jax has in his overall pocket, claims that he has mulch, a material applied to the surface of soil, and is commonly used in gardening and agriculture. Jax reveals that his worst nightmare was "getting lost in a corn maze once."
Gangle: Gangle is a humanoid made of ribbons trapped in the Digital Circus along with five other victims.
Gangle-Appearance: Gangle appears to be made up of four Candy Red Ribbons that form a humanoid shape. Her face is a white porcelain mask with black eyes and mouth. Her body consists of the main mass of the ribbons that curl, making a spring shape that spirals four times, two ribbons that form her legs, and a single ribbon for her arms (one end is the right arm, while the other end is her left arm). Whenever her Comedy Mask gets broken or removed, her next mask appears, switching to a sad version of the former, clarified by Gooseworx as her Tragedy Mask.
It is said when she holds her breath her masks starts spinning.
Gangle-Personality: Gangle's emotions and behavior are influenced by which mask she is currently wearing. However, it is revealed that these masks do not completely change her mood, rather they are a literal form of "masking" and are not the sole deciders of her personality. The masks merely change the way Gangle's feelings are presented. When she has her Comedy Mask, her tone, posture, and behavior is masked as pleasant, upbeat, and extroverted. Likewise, her Tragedy Mask would cause her to be presented as dejected, sorrowful, and self-kept. Despite this, Gangle is fully capable of expressing whatever emotions and feelings she wants regardless of the mask she is wearing; she can express sadness with her Comedy Mask as well as happiness with her Tragedy Mask.
Gangle is referred to by Jax as one of the most "mentally stable and capable characters" in a mocking manner. Due to her mask breaking easily, Gangle is fragile in both a literal and figurative sense. Because of her emotional fragility, Gangle is an easy target for Jax's taunts, who enjoys tormenting her. Zooble themself points out that Gangle is too shy to speak up, possibly to avoid conflict with the other Circus members. Gangle had positive feelings towards Ragatha, although she acknowledged that Ragatha could sometimes be seen as disingenuous. At the end of "Fast Food Masquerade", Gangle expresses her concern that she will be hated by everyone after the events of the episode.
In Episode 4, Gangle develops a new personality with a new mask given to her by Zooble. While wearing this mask, she becomes outgoing and confident, but also bossy, controlling and manic. She also internally cracks when others mention they like her better when she is sad, or that her new personality is annoying.
Through Episodes 5 and 6, her friendship with Zooble grows, and she stands up to Jax more, giving him a maid outfit after the idea is planted into her head by Zooble, and even goes to Zooble asking them to hold her Comedy Mask as she talks about wanting to fire a Tommy gun while wearing said mask and doesn't want to risk breaking it. She then expresses to Zooble that she doesn't know how she should like the side she thinks makes her worse than everyone, to which, once Zooble teaches her about self-love, it revitalizes Gangle's confidence. This seems to have helped Gangle finally accept herself for who she is, as when she gets eliminated by Pomni, her Comedy Mask breaks again, but behind it, her Tragedy Mask instead dawns a happy expression that the Comedy Mask would typically make her have.
Gangle-Powers and Abilities: Digital physiology: Gangle is one of the trapped humans inside the digital world with her consciousness piloting a digital avatar. Because of this, she can perform abilities that are outside of the general range of normal human capabilities. Immortality: Because there is no conceivable way to die within the digital world and the fact that Caine cannot control the minds of those who are trapped within, there is currently no way that any of the human characters can or will die. However, they can still do these actions if they choose. Invulnerability: Nothing in the digital world can cause life long lasting damage to any individual in the amazing digital circus. With Gangle surviving multiple scenarios that would certainly kill any normal human and recovering from them with no marks and/or scaring. Replaceable Mask: Unlike the other humans, Gangle can install a comedy mask onto her face to act like her real face. However, this mask commonly breaks, due to being fragile. Spinning Mask: When holding her breath, Gangle's mask will begin rapidly spinning around as a result.
Likes: Drawing, Anime, Manga, Zooble, Pomni, Ragatha, Kinger, Humiliating Jax, Tommy guns. Dislikes: Her comedy mask breaking, Jax, Jax's behavior, Her job (Manager at Spudsy's), The idea of her friends hating her, Whatever she did with some kind of figurine being revealed, particularly to Ragatha, Caine.
Ragatha: Ragatha is a ragdoll character who is trapped in the Digital Circus along with five other victims.
Ragatha-Appearance: Ragatha's appearance resembles that of a humanoid RagDoll with shoulder-length, yarn-like red hair in a long bob cut, black eyebrows, a flat, reddish-orange triangular nose, and a blue button as her right eye. She wears a mid-sleeve long blue dress (which often appears purple due to warm lighting) with darker blue patches sewn on.
She wears a white, collared under-dress and a large bow in her hair that matches her dress. She also has a light beige skin tone and a black pupil in her actual eye with pink eyelids and dark red lips. Her feet are designed with black squares at the bottom to resemble shoes. When she holds her breath, her hair goes up in the air.
In Fast Food Masquerade, she wears a fast food uniform consisting a black visor, shirt, and apron.
In Untitled, she has many outfit changes. She appears in an anime style in a school jacket with yellow buttons and a blue, yellow, red logo on her left side. She sports a white under shirt along with a blue vest and bow and a blue skirt and high socks. In her noir style, she appears black and white and wears a black dress and a white pearl necklace-choker, and her bow appears gray.
In Beach Episode, Her Beach outfit, she wears a two-piece blue bikini and she's not wearing her blue bow.
Ragatha-Personality: Ragatha is described as "the sweetest little optimist." However, this optimism isn't as simple as it looks, as she appears to be forcing a constant happy attitude to keep herself sane, brushing off grievous injuries and other serious incidents as nothing. Gangle mentioned that Ragatha can be perceived as being disingenuous with her optimism after a while. Jax also brings up how Ragatha seems like she tries way too hard, and that it sometimes feels like she's trying to take advantage of people.
She also appears to be forgiving, showing understanding for why Pomni left her behind as she ran away from the now-fully abstracted Kaufmo. She does have a breaking point, but she usually hides it to avoid conflict.
Ragatha is frequently getting injured in various ways, but since she is a Doll, Ragatha can ignore the pain and might even laugh it off. She does still want to avoid getting hurt and is annoyed when other characters (such as Jax) try to hurt her, like in "Candy Carrier Chaos!", where Jax urges Gangle to ram into the spiked truck of the Gummy Bandits (Gummigoo, Max, and Chad), causing Gangle to ram unwillingly into the spikes that ended up impaling Ragatha. However, she wasn't hurt, and later, the hole appeared healed.
Ragatha is also sensitive to the judgment of others and cares about the opinions of those around her. This is shown in "Candy Carrier Chaos!", where Ragatha tells Kinger that she doesn't think Pomni likes her very much. Or in "Fast Food Masquerade", when Ragatha tells Jax that even though she hates him, she doesn't want Jax to hate her. Ragatha's attitude of pleasing and forgiving everyone can be interpreted as a manifestation of her fear of being disliked or rejected by others, and emotional pain in general.
In "Candy Carrier Chaos!", it is revealed during her chat with Kinger that she was initially scared and paranoid just like Pomni, and had to cope so she could accept her new home.
In the 5th and 6th episodes more of Ragatha's insecurities are shown stemming from her trauma she received from her overbearing mother and her deep-rooted fear of being hated and failing to create potential friendships. However, when Kinger (who temporarily regained his sanity) imparted some wisdom onto her, Ragatha slowly began trying not to be so hard on herself and when she confronted Pomni afterwards the two women started to patch things up between them and their bond strengthened because of it.
Background: Before her arrival in the Amazing Digital Circus, Ragatha was an ordinary human with another name who was born into a fairly wealthy farming family. Ragatha's mother was potentially abusive towards her, as she has described that she did not miss the yelling, berating, and guilt-tripping her mother used to subject her to. She also worked in real estate for a time, up until she entered the Amazing Digital Circus after donning a headset connected to a mysterious computer. Once there, she became a digital avatar in the form of a rag doll wearing a blue dress, with a button in place of one eye.
Ragatha-Powers and Abilities: Digital physiology: Ragatha is one of the trapped humans inside the digital world with her consciousness piloting a digital avatar. Because of this, she can perform abilities that are outside of the general range of normal human capabilities. Immortality: Because there is no conceivable way to die within the digital world and the fact that Caine cannot control the minds of those who are trapped within, there is currently no way that any of the human characters can or will die. With the closest alternative being "Abstraction". However, this may change in the future. Self-Sustenance: Ragatha, along with the other humans in the show do not need to eat, sleep, or drink. However, they can still do these actions if they choose. Invulnerability: Nothing in the digital world can cause life long lasting damage to any individual in the amazing digital circus. With Ragatha surviving multiple scenarios that would certainly kill any normal human and recovering from them with no marks and/or scaring. Hair Straightening: When holding her breath, Ragatha's hair will stick up, similar to a cartoon character being struck by electricity.
Ragatha-Trivia: Her name is a portmanteau of "ragdoll" and the feminine name "Agatha." When she is happy, her eyebrows sometimes appear. Speaking of which, she has mentioned that petting kitty cats was one of the few things that make her happy in "A Very Special Digital Circus Song". Ragatha's only real fear is a fear of centipedes (chilopodophobia), which Jax loves to mischievously exploit. Ragatha can play the cello. Ragatha can see out of her button eye. Ragatha is the only character to have a nose.
Likes: Animals, Horses, Pomni, Gangle, Kinger, Jax, Princess Loolilalu, Martha Mildenhall, Tea, Softball, Cosmopolitans, Horrors. Dislikes: Her mother's scolding and manipulation, Centipedes, Jax (sometimes), Jax's antics, Pomni hanging out with an NPC, Pomni being influenced by Jax, Being upset with Pomni, Evil Pomni, Evil Ragatha, Caine.
Kinger: Kinger is one of the main characters of Glitch Productions' indie animated web series The Amazing Digital Circus, voiced by Sean Chiplock. He is an anthropomorphic king chess piece trapped in the Digital Circus along with five other victims.
Kinger-Appearance: Kinger is an alder wood-colored king chess piece. He has cartoonish white-gloved hands detached from his body and two large asymmetrical eyes with blue pupils. Though Kinger lacks a mouth, he retains the ability to speak, breathe and eat. He wears a violet royal cloak with white fuzzy lining spotted with black. In Episode 3, Kinger is shown to glow when holding his breath.
Kinger-Personality: Kinger is shown as erratic and paranoid, most likely derived from his time in the circus. He also displays an absent-mindedness since he seems to often forget the fact that people are near him and are startled by them, like Gangle. Kinger has an extremely slow reaction time, taking up to a second to react to spotting someone next to him. Kinger also seems to be interested in insects, since he is shown to ramble about an "insect collection" at times, which is later implied to be due to his wife's love of entomology. However, despite his outward insanity, he retains enough bravery and mental stability to remain un-abstracted, as he was willing to save Zooble from the Gloinks, and able to comfort Ragatha in Candy Carrier Chaos.
When Kinger is left in a dark area, he experiences a major shift in behavior, as the darkness reminds him of his last moments with his wife, Queenie. When in this state, he appears to have a much better grip on his sanity, with his fear and paranoia subsiding, with his voice even becoming less high-pitched. Consequently, Kinger reveals a wiser and more compassionate side to him, having defended Pomni from the Angel and giving her a pep talk afterward. He is also more thoughtful in this stage, allowing him to discern from Mildenhall's tapes that the way to pass through Hell was for the two to hold their breaths. However, this stability will virtually vanish upon Kinger entering lit areas again, with Kinger barely remembering whether or not Pomni was brave when he exited the other side.
Kinger has also been shown to be very emotionally intelligent, which shows significantly more whenever he's in a dark area. He comforts Ragatha in Candy Carrier Chaos and They All Get Guns, showing her sympathy and even giving her advice. He's compassionate towards Pomni in The Mystery of Mildenhall Manor. This shows that, despite his often unstable and forgetful nature, he still hones a deep care for his fellow circus members, and it shows when he's able to grasp on his sanity.
Ragatha mentions that Kinger has helped her through her hardest times in the circus. Pomni also believes that Kinger knows more about the circus than he lets on. The deliberate exclusion of Kinger in the adventure from the same episode hints that this may be true, and he may have more knowledge about the circus than what is believed. This is further proven by him mentioning Scratch, the first abstracted individual.
Background: Before entering the Amazing Digital Circus, Kinger was a human in the real world with a different name. After donning a headset connected to a mysterious computer, he entered the Amazing Digital Circus with his digital avatar being a king chess piece. So far, he has been in the circus longer than the rest of the performers.
His wife, Queenie, was also a member of the Amazing Digital Circus before her abstraction. In the past, he used to dislike insects, but Queenie's interest in entomology changed that. Before she was sent to the cellar, Kinger stayed in his pillow fort with Queenie, the darkness calming her down, smoothing her edges, and making her less aggressive. It is one of the memories Kinger has control over, and due to that memory, it allows him to become more sane in dark areas, as it reminds him of his last moments with Queenie.
In Beach Episode, Abel consistently attempted to exclude of avoid Kinger's entry into the adventure, as his knowledge likely would have ruined the surprise of the adventure.
Kinger-Powers and Abilities: Digital physiology: Kinger is one of the trapped humans inside the digital world with his consciousness piloting a digital avatar. Because of this, he can perform abilities that are outside of the general range of normal human capabilities. Absolute Immortality: Because there is no conceivable way to die within the digital world and the fact that Caine cannot control the minds of those who are trapped within, there is currently no way that any of the human characters can or will die. With the closest alternative being "Abstraction". However this may change in the future. Self-Sustenance: Kinger along with the other humans in the show do not need to eat, sleep, or drink. However, they can still do these actions if they choose. Detachable parts: Kinger can detach parts of his body, as shown in the episode "The Mystery of Mildenhall Manor", where he uses his eye to check the Hall of the Damned from within, and "Untitled", where he considers using it as a softball. He is even willing to use it to help the others in the adventures, as shown during the softball adventure (before he uses Zooble's eye because the dimensions are more accurate to that of a regular softball). Glowing: Kinger can glow if he holds his breath. This was demonstrated when he and Pomni walked through hell towards the exit in Episode 3. Manifestation: Kinger is shown to manifest a healing butterfly that helped Ragatha replenish one heart in Episode 6. When asked about it by Ragatha, Kinger tells her that "he made it up". At the moment, it is unclear if this power is possessed by all humans, or by only himself and Caine. Marksman: Kinger appears to have some proficiency with shotguns, as seen in the episode "The Mystery of the Mildenhall Manor" where he is able to shoot "the angel"'s body and its head with precision. In "They All Get Guns", Kinger is again shown to be very comfortable when possessing firearms, although he does get eliminated quickly, the only person he ever shooting being himself on accident.

Zooble: Zooble is the one of the main characters of Glitch Productions' indie animated web series The Amazing Digital Circus, voiced by Ashley Nichols. They appear to be a Mix-and-Match toy who is stuck in the Digital Circus alongside five other victims.
Appearance: Zooble is made of random colorful shapes and parts that make them resemble a Mix-and-Match toy. Consistently throughout the series, their head has been a hot pink isosceles triangle tilted downwards. Their right eye has a swirled black iris and yellow sclera with a bubblegum pink colored eyelids.
Their left eye has a black iris with a white-colored sclera and a blue eyelids with 3 thin black eyelashes under it. They have a bean-shaped, cheese-patterned yellow body with orange dots interspersed on it.
"PILOT" They had a black and white striped Y antenna on the left and a mint-green zigzag antenna on their right, as well as 2 completely different colored arms (one is zigzagged and the other is straight). Additionally, the top of their body had various sockets for appendages to be attached to with their head being attached to the top socket with a magenta neck.
Their right arm was on their middle right socket being straight and orange ending with a yellow glove while their left arm was on their topmost left socket being exasperatingly long having a red squiggly segment with a pink joint featuring the rest of their arm being yellow and ending with a red crab-like claw. They had a turquoise moon, with a flamingo pink wing as either a sleeve or an accessory on their topmost right socket.
The bottom most sockets of their body were occupied by both their legs, which protruded out of the side of their body instead of the bottom. Their right leg had a squiggly mint-green segment with the bottom having a purple joint and ends with an orange swirl, which made up the bottom part of their leg. Their left leg was completely straight dark blue and bends with a matching shoe (which often appears purple due to lighting).
"Candy Carrier Chaos!" They kept their mint-green antenna on the right side of their face and supplemented it with a yellow arrow antenna on the left. Their right arm and left leg remain unchanged- their right arm is still orange with a yellow glove and their left leg is still entirely blue. The beginning of their left arm and their fingers are the same blue, while their forearm is mint-green.
These features are connected with bright yellow fasteners. Zooble's right leg has a orange-and-black diagonally striped pattern and maintains a boomerang-like shape. Still on their topmost right socket is a pink wing, and bolted to their chest is a diagonally striped black-and-white square.
"The Mystery Of Mildenhall Manor" Zooble has replaced their right antenna with a pink unicorn horn and reverted their left antenna and badge to the striped Y antenna and blue badge, and has switched out their left blue shoe leg for a white and black striped leg ending in a pinkish-purple pedal-shaped foot. Their right wing is triangular and is wavy striped yellow and purple.
Their right thigh is blue and has white polka dots, while their right calf is a teal rod, and their right foot is an orange glove. Their right elbow is a zigzag alternating between mid blue and white, and their forearm has an orange hinge and is a yellow block splitting off into three fingers for the hand. Their left hand is orange and has a white glove. Surprisingly, their bean-shaped body has changed colors slightly, with their darker-orange dots now a lighter orange and with their body's color now a yellow-golden shade.
"Fast Food Masquerade" Zooble has replaced their left antenna with a yellow arrow similar to the one in "Candy Carrier Chaos!", but with sharper angles, while their right antenna is now a blue rod with a spiral on top. Their left arm has orange and yellow stripes with a purple five-fingered glove on the end. Their right elbow is a red rod, connected to a spherical pale tealish-green elbow. Their right arm is the same three-fingered yellow block.
Later, their arm turned into a yellow spatula. Their wing is now purple and has a perpendicular angle to it. Their left thigh is a magenta rod, and their left knee is a yellow cube, connecting to an orange three-toed duck leg as their left leg. Their right thigh is a squiggly teal rod, and their right knee is a reddish-purple sphere. Their right leg is a turquoise tube with folds in it, like a bendy straw. Their right foot is a black wheel inside a red housing. Their bean body seems to have gotten slightly paler, but not its spots.
"Untitled" Zooble in this episode brings back the right antenna, purple wing, and left foot. Their badge is a blue triangle with a hole in the middle. Their right leg is a blue zig-zag that ends in a yellow and orange peg-leg. Their left antenna is a black and white squiggly line with a ball on the end. Zooble's right arm is a red and yellow tube that turns into a normal thin arm that ends in a yellow gloved hand. Their left, is a green spring that turns into a claw similar to the pilot but with yellow and red stripes and then the claw is green.
"They All Get Guns" In this episode, Zooble's right antenna is a yellow T’shape while their left is a cyan lightning bolt shape, similar to their usual zig-zag antenna. Their left arm has a green and yellow-striped bicep topped with a double-plated purple paldron for a shoulder, a white joint connecting it to a red forearm and yellow hand, while their right arm has a thin red bicep with a round yellow joint connecting it to a zebra print forearm and white hand. Zooble's left leg was yellow and covered in hexagonal red pieces that was connected to a dark blue/Indigo foot and leg piece resembling a boot with a curved toe while their right leg was blue connected to a round periwinkle joint, while having a magenta piece with dull pink polka dots on it for a foot that resembles a golf club. They also have a blue bat wing similar to their door portrait and an orange four-pointed star for a pendant.
"Beach Episode" (Current) In this episode, Zooble has replaced the right antenna is a yellow strand onto a orange ball electron (Because of the other scene shift lightning it changed to red.) while the left is a blue straight like line single both bottom left and top right resembling a tree. Their badge is a light blue green diamond with a hole in the middle. The right wing is triangular and is wavy striped angel white. In the right arm it is orange combined connected of light green plastic shovel shape, resembling a toy hand claw or spoon while the left arm an orange stick/rod spiraling connected to a yellow sphere like a joint, which is then connected to another orange stick/rod ending in a white triangular flat piece like a small, flat paddle or wing. This is followed by a purple segment, which finally ends in a yellow hand/flat piece. Zooble's left leg consists of a purple, stair-like piece connected to a yellow sphere, followed by an orange/purple segment that terminates in a orange peg-leg while the right leg is an orange straight line connected to a blue-green cube (knee joint). This is followed by the white bony leg segment, which connects to a yellow and blue shoe.
In their beach outfit, Zooble's right antenna is replaced by a white unicorn horn, while on the left is a small red and white striped umbrella. The wing on their back is now a purple pinwheel, while the rest of their arms and limbs still remain the same and unchanged.
Zooble-Personality: Zooble is very grouchy and irritable and can be seen getting quite annoyed when a piece of them happens to be in the wrong place. Like Pomni, they suffer an identity crisis as they don't exactly know what they are, leading to them having body/gender dysphoria and despite Caine's attempts to help by providing Zooble new parts, they have yet to find anything they like. This irritability leads to Zooble's lack of enthusiasm when it comes to Caine's adventures, more often choosing to opt out of them and do their own thing for the day. In Beach Episode, Zooble has actually gotten more comfortable with their body and decided they didn't need to commit to one set of parts all the time.
Zooble can be a bit rude, such as when they curse at the others, telling them to Fuck off, and how when they got captured by the Gloinks and called Kinger and Jax idiots for not helping them. However, they also seem to have a degree of compassion, since they show sadness and disbelief over Kaufmo's abstraction, even though they seem to have expected Kinger to be the next one to abstract, and mourned during his funeral. Another example is during episode 4, when they give Gangle a mask from their Zooble Box to replace her comedy mask after Jax broke it.
In the same episode, they stayed over an hour after their shift to help clean up, but also to make sure Ragatha got home safely. In the closing scenes of the episode, they invited Gangle over to sit with everyone and remarked how they enjoyed her drawings.
Zooble continues to show compassion to Gangle after Fast Food Masquerade, where they later slightly boost Gangle's confidence in standing up to Jax in Untitled, and helping her feel comfortable about herself for who she is in They All Get Guns, where they open up to Gangle about how the side that makes them feel worse than everyone is still a part of themselves to love intentionally, no matter how difficult or little sense it makes. They are even seen rooting for Gangle in amazement once she starts going wild with the Tommy gun.
Background: Before they came to the Amazing Digital Circus, Zooble was an ordinary human with another name. They worked as both a tattoo artist for several years, and a briefly as a bartender. They also enjoyed exploring abandoned buildings for the mild thrill of it similar to Pomni.
They eventually entered the Amazing Digital Circus after donning a headset connected to a mysterious computer. Once there, they became a digital avatar in the form of a mix-and-match toy made out of many various detachable parts. Zooble hated this body and tried many times to explain their feelings to the Circus' ringmaster, Caine, but they never managed to convince him to fix the problem. Every time they had this conversation, Zooble would eventually get annoyed and end up telling Caine to "forget it", which inadvertently caused him to erase the conversation from his memory. Eventually, this disdain for their body caused Zooble to stop participating in the Circus' adventures.
Zooble-Powers and Abilities: Digital physiology: Zooble is one of the trapped humans inside the digital world with their consciousness piloting a digital avatar. Because of this, they can perform abilities that are outside of the general range of normal human capabilities. Absolute Immortality: Because there is no conceivable way to die within the digital world and the fact that Caine cannot control the minds of those who are trapped within, there is currently no way that any of the human characters can or will die. With the closest alternative being "Abstraction." However, this may change in the future. Self-Sustenance: Zooble, along with the other humans in the show, does not need to eat, sleep, or drink. However, they can still do these actions if they choose. Detachable parts: Zooble can detach parts of their body and also attach extra appendages to their body. They can also control parts of themselves outside of their body, such as when Jax detached Zooble's arm, and they began to choke him. Straight Limbs: When Zooble holds their breath, their limbs straighten up, like how the others in the circus cast get a different ability when holding their breath. Mixology: Zooble worked as a bartender for an unspecified amount of time before joining the digital circus. Zooble can be seen serving cocktails and other alcoholic beverages to the other members of the cast without any form of instruction or recipe
Zooble-Likes: Gangle, Gangle's Drawings, Pomni, Caring for Pomni, Humiliating, mocking and disgracing Jax, Relaxing adventures, The Suggestion Box, Making drinks, Get tattoos, Fun, Sex. Dislikes: Jax, Caine, Going on adventures, Being forced into adventures, In-house adventures, Their body (Formally), One of their parts being in the wrong place, Bazooble, Daisy Bell, Not being able to have sex in the circus, Pomni in tone with her cartoon nature.
Mannequins: The Mannequins are basic NPCs that appear very often in the digital world, used by Caine as a blank slate to create new character NPCs for his adventures.
Description: Mannequins are wooden toy mannequins that are used by Caine to serve as background filler in his creations. All of the mannequins act as if they were regular people, specifically doing normal actions such as serving as patrons in a restaurant, using a bathtub, wandering around, or being used as crowds.
Mannequins very rarely speak on purpose, with most of their dialog being limited to screaming and pain reactions. Mannequins have been seen pretending to converse with each other (without actually speaking) in some situations.
So far, the few examples of speaking Mannequins include two in Fast Food Masquerade - one who eats cereal and one who orders a Stupidburger - and Disappearing Guy, who appears twice in Untitled.
Abel: Abel is a mannequin who appeared as a secondary character in Beach Episode.
Appearance: Abel resembles a regular Mannequin, however his defining trait is that he drew a smiley face onto his head.
Personality: Abel presents himself to be rather cunning and observant, as shown by the way he knows how the other character act, such as knowing Jax collects keys or Caine commits to the bits he does. He also laments not interacting before and felt genuine sorrow for the people who abstracted so far.
He's shown to be rather anxious, fearing Caine or Kinger messing with his plan to escape, and being desperate to encourage others to believe in him. When Pomni offers to buy him a beer in the real world, he doesn't respond positively, instead only continuing to be adamant on her doing "the right thing." He implies he knows Kinger well, but is aversive about talking to him, implying some bad blood between the two.
However, this whole persona is revealed to be nothing but an act. Abel is revealed to be an NPC working with Caine the whole time, and behaves in a different manner after that is revealed, even going so far as to call his behavior so far a "performance". His real persona shows a much more upbeat and casual tone, and seems amused about the adventure, and even asks Caine for a raise. He is, however, scared of being deleted as he screams beforehand.
Biography: Abel was shown throughout the series as a standalone poseable mannequin that stalks the main cast, viewing them from afar within the circus.
He later introduces himself to Pomni and the rest in "Beach Episode", telling them he is a human that was given the appearance of an NPC, and was overlooked by Caine. He claims to know of a way out of the circus without Caine finding out, convincing them to trust him and bringing them to an isolated area to tell them, minus Kinger, of his plan to leave the circus: distract Caine, get into his office and find an Administrator console to turn off the game.
He mentions he knew Kinger in the real world, and they both invented the Digital Circus together at a company labelled "C&A". However, Abel had noticed his coworkers being put into "stasis pods" and hooked into the Digital Circus. When he confronted the higher ups at C&A about this fact, he was forced into the Digital Circus himself.
Once he tells them of his plan, he introduces himself as his real name; Abel. While Jax distracts Caine, Abel brings Ragatha and Pomni with him to get Administrator access to Caine's office. While on the way, he claims he and Kinger had a falling out of some sort, and despite wanting to work with him again, he cannot do so due to a "promise" he had made.
He laments over a locket with an unseen picture inside, before continuing on. Once inside, Abel grabs enough administrator passes for everyone, except himself. Pomni and Ragatha are adamant on bringing Kinger along with them, but Abel is still against trusting him. Despite this, he agrees to let them bring Kinger along. Once the plan was complete, he helps them all arrive at Caine's office using a collision glitch, leaving himself behind. When Pomni offers to buy him a beer in the real world, Abel only responds by telling her to 'make the right choice'.
The team succeed in invading Caine's office, finding the console, but after a heated argument, Jax turns off the console, and Caine appears, revealing the whole situation to just be another "adventure", and that everything, including Abel's story, was just "worldbuilding". To confirm this, Abel spawns in, now acting completely differently and laughing at the success of the Adventure.
Abel then asks Caine for a raise, however, Caine deletes him, claiming he is becoming "too smart". The locket he held dropped to the floor, revealing to contain nothing more than a picture of a simple hotdog.
Trivia: Abel could have been a reference to "Caine and Abel" which was previously thought to be what C&A stood for. This was later implied in They All Get Guns where the smaller pistols had "Caine & Abel" written on them. He carries a locket with seeming emotional value, relating to a "promise" he had made. However, this was part of his false story, and there is nothing more than a picture of a hotdog inside. Despite being an NPC, he knows a lot about the humans, especially about Kinger. Since he is created by Caine, this implies Caine knows more about the humans than he's letting on. In Netflix subtitles, Abel's death scream is noted as a "Human Delete Sound". However, this is likely a mistake on the subtitler's part, as Gummigoo made a similar sound on upon deletion, which was also noted as a Human Delete Sound. In some YouTube subtitles, Abel's speaker identification is "NPC".
Minor Characters: Crappy fish: The Crappy Fish are two minor characters that appear in Beach Episode that swim in the Digital Lake. The Orange Fish is voiced by Zach Hadel and the Red Fish is voiced by Sr. Pelo.
Appearance: They are both poorly rendered red and orange fish that swim in the Digital Lake. They both have big blue eyes and fat lips.
Personality: The Orange Fish is shown to be highly confident and arrogant as he keeps bragging about Pomni not being able to find his sunken treasure chest. He is also shown to take great pride within his treasure and is also shown to be frightened after it was taken. Nothing is known about the Red Fish’s personality beyond the fact that he is stupid enough to tell that he is the one that tells lies.
Trivia: Their primitive CGI appearance may be inspired by Gaither's Pond, a Christian cartoon infamous for the uncanny 3D models used for its characters, including the protagonist: a fish. The Red Fish is the 'one that tells lies' based on the riddle where one guard who only tells the truth and one who only tells lies.
Ribbit: Ribbit is a reoccuring cameo and minor character of Glitch Productions' indie animated web series The Amazing Digital Circus, set to be voiced by Skye Redden. She was a green frog who was the second to last human to have abstracted, and was presumably very close friends with Jax and Kaufmo.
Appearance: Ribbit was a tall anthropomorphic green frog with a cartoonishly lanky build. She had black, pie slice cut eyes (with black eyelids and eyelashes), pink round blush marks, and a light green muzzle on her oval-ish, frog-like shaped head. She had long frog-like three-toed feet, and long frog-like arms. She also had a oval light green muzzle that goes from her chest down to her stomach. In the pictures of her, she's usually seen with a smirk or a smile.
For an accessory, Ribbit wore a simple cartoonish pink bow tie around their neck.
Personality: Little is known about Ribbit's personality, but based on Jax's picture in Beach Episode, she had been shown to be rather smug and perhaps mischievous, though this may have simply been a photo pose. They are also shown to be hanging out with Jax and Kaufmo.
After abstracting, Ribbit became extremely hostile. So much so that she had to be put into the cellar with the rest of the abstracted characters, where they presumably remain to this day.
Biography: Background: Little is known about Ribbit's past life, but she used to be an ordinary human with a different name. At some point in her life, she found and put on a VR Headset attached to a computer and joined the circus, later becoming friends with Jax and Kaufmo. Eventually, Ribbit abstracted and got sent to the cellar along with, Scratch, Queenie, and the other abstracted circus members. It is currently unknown what exactly caused her to abstract, but it can be assumed that she lost grip on reality and became unstable and hostile.
"Untitled": Ribbit was first revealed briefly during the intermission scene when Jax ran and stopped at their door. Ragatha also mentions earlier in the episode that Jax has no more real friends in the circus, alluding to Kaufmo's and Ribbit's abstraction.
"They All Get Guns": Ribbit's door was seen again when Jax, sitting in the hallway of the performer's rooms, looked at Kaufmo's door icon. Afterwards, he looks over at Ribbit's crossed out icon. Spotting it, he gains an unrecognizable look on his face and quickly runs off to reunite with Pomni.
"Beach Episode": Ribbit was seen in a photo with Kaufmo and Jax holding mugs, possibly hot cocoa with whipped cream with marshmallows on top and within the Tent.
When Jax is alone in his bedroom, he hallucinates Ribbit's hands beginning to approach him, coming out of a triangle shaped hole from the wall that previously wasn't there. As Ribbit reaches out to Jax, his gloves fade away and he grabs their hand, causing Jax to get into a fever-like dream as he begins to abstract. Her and Kaufmo's heads are seen during the fever dream, melding into the background.
Ribbit and Kaufmo were later mentioned by Ragatha when her and Pomni were talking to Abel. Later during the scene where the gang is in Caine's office, Jax looks into a globe containing a past adventure, this one being a snowy area, and voices presumably belonging to Ribbit and Jax can be heard (although muffled). If you edit the music and/or listen really closely, you can hear Ribbit say "Oh well, you said we're both best friends!" Jax replied with "You think I actually care about us!?" "You're lying!" Ribbit said back. "I'M NOT!" Jax yelled back, then the muffled voices end. This suggests that this argument may have, though unknown, caused Ribbit to abstract.

TDLR on what happend on intial message; The episode opens with Pomni discovering Zooble in a box. Zooble groans at the prospect of another adventure and tells Pomni to find a different hiding place. However, Pomni reveals that Caine is missing. Caine suddenly appears, announcing there is no official adventure. When asked for suggestions Caine attempts to use a "Chinese Room" to offer suggestions, but the resulting advice is unintelligible because he cannot read Chinese. Bubble suggests a beach party at the Digital Lake. Caine enthusiastically supports the idea and encourages the group to have fun before vanishing again.
At the beach, the circus members gather at a magical red-and-white changing booth. Pomni volunteers to go first and is shot out into the sand in a beach outfit, earning a "mediocre" rating and a hostile threat of sunburn from the Sun. A montage follows, showing the group enjoying themselves. While playing in the lake, Ragatha loses her button eye, prompting Pomni to dive underwater to search for it. Beneath the surface, Pomni encounters two fish NPCs who guard a "sunken treasure" and offer bizarre, nonsensical dialogue; however, upon seeing an empty chest nearby, the fish realizes his life savings have been plundered and begins to panic.
Upcoming Events (Make sure they're all accurate and that it happens correctly in order and dont change anything in the dialogue without adding any extra diologue):
(Pomni goes back into the water to find it once again. The camera shifts to Jax, who gets wet because Zooble dumped a bucket of water on him.)
Jax: (sighs) What was that for?
Zooble: Oh, let me think. There's that time you ran me over with a steam roller. The time you pushed Gangle into a pool of piranhas. When you set me on fire, mailed me a pipe bomb, threw me into an active volcano. I could go on.
Jax: (sighs) Aren't you supposed to be miserable about your ability to choose your own body, or something?
Zooble: Aren't you supposed to be causing trouble for everyone?
(Jax looks away.)
Zooble: I've been starting to think that maybe the ability to change is fine. Not needing to commit to one thing all the time.
Jax: How about that.
Zooble: And if I DO still have problems, I talk about them with the people I trust.
(Jax sits up properly, a "smile" on his face.)
Jax: Good thing I don't have any problems, then.
(Jax starts to walk away.)
Zooble: Where are you going?
Jax: Anywhere you losers won't yap my ear off.
(Pomni wraps a towel around her shoulders but sees a Shrimp NPC beside her.)
Shrimp NPC: Hello, there! As the Shrimp NPC...
(Pomni looks off to the side, where she sees Jax leaving the Digital Lake. But her eyes also landed on a mannequin NPC hiding behind a rock. She turns back to see the Shrimp NPC already fried.)
Sun: You're welcome!
(Pomni sends the Sun a thumbs up and looks back at the mannequin. It waves her over. She looks at the others still having fun and decides to check.)
We see Jax lay down on his bed. His head turns to the side, seeing the different photographs hung on the wall. He turns one around. It was a photo of him, Ribbit, and Kaufmo holding hot chocolate. He turns to the other side of his room and starts seeing a black triangle in the corner. Then suddenly green hands start to emerge behind it, reaching towards him. He seemed scared but couldn't stop himself from reaching for it. Once their hands touch, Jax ends up floating in a psychedelic and kaleidoscopic world. Jax is naked as peaceful music starts playing. The dreamscape is later filled with the faces of Ribbit and Kaufmo rather than just abstract shapes, with Jax's face joining them thereafter. He starts calming down, until his doorbell rang. He sat up, his eyes seeming close to abstracting as he forces himself to breathe. Jax opens the door.)
Jax: (sighs) Way to interrupt my nap.
(Pomni, Ragatha, and a mannequin NPC were the ones beyond the door.)
Pomni: Can we talk?
Jax: You're what?
Pomni: Yeah. He's not actually an NPC. He's a human. Like us.
NPC: Yes, I know. (laughs ruefully) Getting stuck with a blank mannequin body of all things. Caine completely overlooked me. But because of this, I was able to uh-Well...I think I've found the way to leave.
Jax: "The way to leave"?
Ragatha: Yes. The way to leave the circus and get back to the real world.
NPC: Shhh! Yes. But, please, keep it discreet. If Caine catches on, I doubt he'll ever let us get this far again.
Pomni: That's why we came to you. We thought you might have a key to the Chinese Room.
Jax: The Chinese Room?
NPC: Yes. We're gonna need a place to talk without Caine listening in on us. I have a working theory that Caine will commit to a bit, no matter what. And if the bit is to not know what's in the Chinese Room, he'll stick to it.
Jax: Uh, I guess I'll check.
(Jax goes in his room, closing the door behind him. He comes back out, holding a bucket of keys.)
Jax: These are all the keys I have where I don't know what they go to.
(Jax gives the bucket to Pomni and was about to close the door.)
Pomni: Wait. Don't you want to come with us? This could be our one chance to finally leave all this behind.
Jax: (sighs) Sure. Why not?
(Jax, Pomni, Ragatha, and Abel approach Zooble and Gangle at the site of the Chinese door)
Zooble: Where even is Caine? He might be suspicious of us even being here.
NPC: He's probably in his office, planning adventures.
Jax: How do we even know we can trust this guy? Has he done anything to prove he's human?
NPC: I've been here longer than any of you. (nervously) I...uh...helped create this place. I'll explain more when we're in the room, but for now...please just trust me. You will not regret it.
(Pomni sets the bucket of keys down. Jax and Gangle grab one of the keys. As the bucket empties more keys are strewn about, till it is empty. Gangle puts a final key up to the door and struggles with it.)
Gangle: Am I doing this wrong? None of these even fit in the key hole. (Tries to insert the key again)
Jax: Has anyone even tried just– (Opens the door)
(A Chinese Room NPC reading a book places it down in a hurry)
Chinese Room NPC: Oh thank God! (He runs out swiftly)
(Most of the cast looks on in confusion, while a smug smile Pomni slowly turns towards the others)
Gangle: (drops the key) I–I–
Zooble: Ok well, it's open. Let's just get inside before Caine sees us.
Pomni: I'll go get Kinger.
NPC: We can fill him in later. I don't really know if I'm–uh–ready to face him again...after what happened.
Pomni: Uhh–
NPC: We've both done things we're not proud of.
(They enter the room)
Jax: Alright, convince me.
NPC: I'm one of the original programmers of the Digital Circus. I was part of a team of experts employed by C&A to bring this place to life. Kinger was one of my coworkers, back when he was still...
Ragatha: You really think Kinger worked with him?
NPC: (Knocks a cup over, scattering paper everywhere) O–oh whoops, sorry.
Pomni: I can see it.
NPC: Well, as production went on, the higher ups in C&A started getting untrustworthy. They began forcibly hooking my fellow coworkers up to the computer. (Animated images of what the NPC is describing appear) In special stasis pods to keep them alive and analyze their brains...just awful stuff.
Jax: I'm gonna shoot you down and say none of us are C&A employees. How would we have gotten hooked up to this big machine just by putting on a headset?
NPC: That's what I wondered as well, but then I remembered that C&A was planning on expanding development. Last I remember, I was asking too many questions, and then poof! I was here. They're probably doing the same to anyone who stumbles in that office. Caine is an AI.
Zooble: Yeah, I think we all got that–
NPC: An AI specifically created to keep your minds active, but he's just as much of a prisoner as you are. One that–uh–won't be able to leave with us.
Zooble: Just get to the meat and tell us exactly how we're gonna leave if we're all hooked up to stasis pods?
NPC: Uh, yes. Yes, of course. (Pulls out a map and they all hover over it) So, I did some digging, and I discovered that the stasis pods and the virtual world are both run in the same program. (Draws a line between the two places with a blue colored pencil) So theoretically if we were to access the master console hidden deep within Caine's office, we could terminate it and forcibly awaken everyone who's hooked up. Well, obviously except for Caine.
Pomni: How do we get into Caine's office?
NPC: We'll need to steal the key from Caine, and we'll also need administrator privileges. (Camera pans to Jax) I believe you're good at obtaining keys.
Jax: Ok. You know what's gonna happen when we do all this? Caine's gonna pop out and say "Congratulations on beating the 'escape the circus' adventure!" And everything's going to go back to the way it always was.
NPC: I've been watching you...all of you (flashbacks of the NPC watching them in the moments he describes) Every trial. Every moment of joy. Every... abstraction. I wish I could've come to you sooner. But I didn't want to potentially ruin our only chance at escape by telling you before I knew exactly how we were gonna do it. I'm not a creation of Caine. I've suffered just as much as the rest of you. I know this all sounds...crazy, but if you follow me, you will see freedom. I'll also draw a face on myself so you can tell me apart from any other blank NPC's. (Draws a smile on his face)
Pomni: Oh–um–what should we call you? Do you have a name?
Abel: I do. (He turns his back to them, and tilts his head back) My name... (Turns around completely with his hands on his hips and light coming from the sky shining down on him) ...is Abel.
(The cast looks unimpressed)
Gangle: Like is that the name you picked or...?
Abel: Yeah. I thought it would be cool.
(Jax looks stubbornly at Pomni and then Gangle)
Abel: (voiceover as Jax wanders around the circus grounds) In order to get the key, you're going to need to isolate Caine. Try getting him alone– someplace where he'll feel comfortable confiding in you.
Jax: Hey, Caine! You around?
(Caine zooms into Jax's face)
Caine: Hey, Jax! I didn't know you could ask if I was around like that. (Pats Jax on the shoulder.) Good job.
Jax: Uhhh... (pointing at Caine) you want to get dinner together?
Caine: (Shocked) GASP! A human wanting to... (eyes grow big) hang out with ME??? How could I possibly turn down such an offer??
Jax: So, where you wanna—?
(Caine pulls Jax by the shoulder out of the circus grounds and into a sit-down restaurant, where they sit across from each other at a table.)
Caine: So, Jax! Whatcha want to talk about, (leaning in) friendo?
Jax: Uh– I–
(Caine's head grows large and towers over Jax).
Caine: Wait, Jax!!! (Caine grows back to his normal size). I wanted to ask you about the adventures! What do you think I should do to make them more appealing to the Zooble and the Pomni?
Jax: I think that–
(Jax and Caine are handed dinner menus)
Caine: We should figure out what to order first! Conversation can happen after we've loaded up on digital nutrients.
(Caine's menu says "Food to Eat" and depicts lettuce and tomatoes, as well as some mysterious food encased in jello)
Abel: (to Jax in the Chinese room) Then you're going to want to ask him about his hobbies. Odds are, he'll get so excited that you care about him, he'll freeze up, and you'll be able to grab the key from inside his mouth.
Jax: (from Chinese room, frowning) Inside where?
Caine: (at dinner with Jax) What are your thoughts on cedar-smoked salmon? I "cedar" smoked salmon, but I hardly "knowder" smoked salmon! (Laughs maniacally)
Jax: (fake laugh) Ah-ha-ha-ha-ha. Uh, do you have any secret hobbies?
Caine: (turns to face Jax incredulously) ...secret hobbies?
Jax: Yeah, like, things you do on your own that you'd be interested in talking about?
Caine: Why... I...I didn't think a human would ever want to ask me about my... (his eyes grow large as he stares intently at Jax, who is smiling hesitantly) Th-this is the most fantastical moment of m–
(Dial-up tones blare. Caine T-poses as his eyes display coding error screens.)
(Jax grimaces as he reaches inside Caine's mouth under his eyes, digging for the key.)
Caine: (eyes stop glitching) Whatcha doin' there, Jax?
Jax: Have I ever told you how it's my dream to get eaten by you?
Caine: (with Jax's hand still down his throat) That's a weird thing to say and want.
(Abel, Pomni, and Ragatha walk through the hallway of their rooms.)
Ragatha: Do you really believe it? I-I mean, everything he says?
Pomni: I... I just want to know what Kinger thinks of all this.
Ragatha: Y-Yeah. I-I was thinking the same thing.
Pomni: How much do you know about Kinger?
Ragatha: Huh? O-Oh, I probably know about as much as everybody else. But...he's also helped me through some of my hardest times here. Is it weird to say I...I trust him the most out of everybody?
Pomni: No, that's not weird at all. I had a similar experience, and...I think he might know more about this place than he lets on.
Ragatha: Yeah, he has been here longer than anyone else. But I just- I don't know. I think it's kind of strange that Abel isn't interested in him at all.
(Abel stops walking.)
Abel: Like I said...things between us are complicated. I would love to be able to work alongside him again. And you're right to think he has knowledge about this place. It's just... (Abel looks down at an opened locket in this hand.) I made a promise.
(Pomni tries to see what was in that locket but Abel closed it.)
Ragatha: What's going to happen to the people in the cellar, like Kaufmo and Ribbit?
Abel: I don't know. But let's hope for the best, right?
(Pomni and Ragatha looks at each other with uncertainty.)
Abel: And here we are. The administrator zone.
(Abel proceeds to rub the wall trying to find the portal. The portal opens and the three walks through it.)
(The camera switches back to Jax and Caine.)
Caine: Buuut, like I was saying. This macroverse place really intrigues me. (The camera pans down on the photos of C&A) And these photos are all I have of the location. I'm obsessed with them. I-I just wish I had more info on the location so I could accurately recreate it. Too bad they (slams hands on the table) cut me off, right?? (laughing heartily)
Jax: Uh, yeah. (playing with his digital food) What a shame.
(Caine floats closer to Jax.)
Caine: So, what's your takeaway from all this?
Jax: What?
Caine: What's your takeaway from all this? Is it that I'm actually a cool guy with cool hobbies (turns and makes his eyes bigger) and not that much different from you beautiful humans?
(Jax smiles with uncertainty.)
Jax: Uh, sure.
Caine: Wowie! (sits back down) I'm so glad we understand each other a little more. I really am trying my best to make you guys happy, and being appreciated for that just makes me want to...
(Caine's eyes display coding error screens, and dial-up tones blare again. Jax rolls his eyes and stands up once more on the table. He reaches inside Caine's mouth, grimacing. he soon pulled out a keycard full of spit. He sits back down and pockets it as Caine suddenly stops glitching.)
Caine: -elebrate by giving you guys anything you ask for! How's that sound?
Jax: Sounds good! Uh, this was a nice dinner and everything but (inhales sharply) ...could I go back to the circus? The gals and I were gonna do somethin' which may or may not be a surprise for a special certain ringmaster we want to show our appreciation for.
Caine: GASP! Say no more!
(With a snap of Caine's fingers, Jax is teleported back to the circus. Caine reaches in his mouth and pulls out another picture of C&A.)
(Zooble and Gangle are seen standing on the circus grounds, near Kinger's fort.)
Zooble: How long is Jax gonna take? I feel like we've been standing here for hours.
(Gangle looks behind her, at Kinger's pillow fort.)
Gangle: Should we... tell Kinger what's happening? I feel bad not including him in any of this.
Zooble: We're supposed to follow Abel's instructions... I-It probably couldn't hurt to at least give him a warning, though. Just to get him into the right headspace.
(Zooble grabs a pillow from Kinger's fort and puts it to the side.)
Kinger: (moves away from the pillow) AH!
Zooble: Oh, my god.
Kinger: Oh- (looking at Zooble) Hi, Gangle. (looking at Gangle) Hi, Zooble. You startled me.
Zooble: Soooo, we may have discovered something you'll want to hear about. uh, I-it's uh...
Gangle: We found a way to leave the circus. We're currently preparing everything, but we need to keep it quiet, so Caine doesn't stop us.
Zooble: Uh, yeah. What she said.
Kinger: ...Huh? leave the circus? How would you... No, that doesn't make sense.
Zooble: We met up with Abel. He says he was one of the original programmers, and he knows how to shut off the game and free us.
Kinger: Uh...who?
Zooble: U-uh-
(Just then, Jax falls onto the floor making back to circus. Kinger, Zooble and Gangle have noticed it.)
Zooble: (turns to Kinger) We'll continue this conversation later. Just thought I'd give you a heads up.
(Zooble walks away from Kinger's fort. Jax stands up, holding the keycard.)
Jax: I am never doing anything for you guys ever again.
Zooble: Where's Caine?
Jax: Worry not, my dear damsel. I think I stopped him from checking up on us for a while. So no need for your distraction anymore. You're welcome.
Zooble: In other words, you just made us have to wait longer to do our job. Also, don't call me that.
Jax: What's the rush? You got someone waiting for you outside?
Zooble: ...Don't you?
Jax: ..Y-yeah.
(The scene switches to Pomni, Ragatha, and Abel inside the administrator zone. Abel puts his hand inside a sphere.)
Abel: So, uh... how many administrator passes should I get?
Pomni: Six.
Ragatha: Yeah, six.
Abel: Are you sure? Giving Kinger access to the main console could be dangerous, considering his mental state.
Pomni: Will it be dark in there?
Abel: I suppose it will be somewhat dim. But-
Pomni: Then yes. I want us all to have one.
Abel: Alright. If you say so.
Ragatha: The dark...I think I get it now.
Pomni: Whatever happens, I'm going to put my trust in Kinger.
Ragatha: He's got a lot of wisdom buried in there, doesn't he?
Pomni: Yeah. He does.
Abel: (murmuring) Yeah, when he uses it responsibly.
Pomni: What?
Abel: I-It's nothing. Let's go find the others.
(Abel gives Pomni the administrator passes and starts to leave. Ragatha catches up and puts a hand on Abel's shoulder, making him turn around.)
Ragatha: Hey. Don't keep information from us if you know something. What happened between you and Kinger?
Abel: (sighs) It'll be clear soon enough.
(Pomni, Ragatha, and Abel soon meet up with the others.)
Abel: So, did you distract Caine?
Jax: I took care of that.
Zooble: He THINKS he took care of that, but we really have no way of knowing.
Jax: Such little faith in me. Goodness.
Zooble: Oh, I wonder why. If this whole thing gets messed up because of you, I swear to god-
Jax: Yeah, let's just all follow Mr. Obvious Twist Villain, instead.
Abel: Now, wait. Hold on, you think-
Ragatha: Let's all just calm down and be a team here. Pomni's got administrator passes for everyone. We're all in this together.
(Pomni starts to hand everyone their administrator pass.)
Gangle: Why do they look like that?
(Zooble shrugs. Pomni gave the last one to Kinger, to which he observes the small object. he reaches out to Pomni.)
Kinger: Wait, Pomni.
Pomni: Huh?
(Kinger steps into the bright lights, seemingly forgetting what he was doing.)
Kinger: Did you...say something?
Abel: We're going to have to trust that whatever Jax did will keep him distracted. I don't know how long we'll be able to hold these without Caine knowing. So...it's time. Let's go to Caine's office.
(Abel grabs a cube from the ground.)
Abel: Caine always did have trouble with cube collisions, for some reason.
(Abel looks up at the hot air balloon in the sky. He puts the cube down on the ground.)
Abel: Alright, just how we went over it. (points to Jax) You first.
Jax: Me? Why me?
Pomni: Jax? Everything's gonna be okay.
Jax: Eh.. fine. Ball me up.
(Abel balls Jax up and throws him against the cube, causing the glitchy collision. It threw Jax up into the hot air balloon.)
Kinger: Oh! Like basketball.
(Jax goes down a trippy slide and lands on the ground.)
(Jax lifts his head up and is met with the door to Caine's office. Soon Ragatha, Zooble and Gangle follow. Pomni looks at Kinger and back at Abel.)
Pomni: I want Kinger to go before me.
Abel: No, yeah, that makes sense.
Kinger: Now, Pomni, don't feel like I need to go before you just because I have the right of way in a four-way, uncontrolled intersection.
Pomni: Just trust me. You want to get somewhere dark?
Kinger: You can say that again.
(Abel balls Kinger up and uses the collision to throw him into the portal.)
Pomni: So, how are you getting up?
Abel: I'm not. But I trust all of you to make the right choice.
Pomni: When we all get out...I'll buy you a beer.
Abel: Make the right choice.
Pomni: Uh.....
(Abel balls Pomni up and uses the collision to throw her into the portal. She enters the portal and lands on the ground.)
Ragatha: Phew. I was getting kind of worried something was happening down there.
Jax: Time for me to serve my purpose, I guess.
(Jax uses the keycard as it shines and lets them enter. The door opens as they were met with a bright sight. There were globes of their previous adventures displayed on the stairs. They all climb up to the top where Caine's desk is. Different orbs were shimmering in the room.)
Ragatha: Abel said the door to the main console was behind the bookshelf.
*(Ragatha uses the small hand to get through. The doors rumble as there was a long hallway full of columns with different items floating on top. Jax was looking at a winter orb with a sad expression, muffled speech can be heard.)
Pomni: Hey. You all right?
Jax: -I'm great.
(They all stand before the long hallway.)
Ragatha: Uh, I guess this is it. W-We're leaving the circus.
(Ragatha held out her hand to the others, with Pomni and Zooble taking it. Gangle and Kinger follow as Jax refuses to hold Pomni's hand. They all courageously walk through the long hallway, with Jax following them behind.)
Gangle: A-Are... Are we still gonna be friends when we're... out there?
Zooble: Why wouldn't we be?
Gangle: It's just... gonna be strange. I've only known you like this. Will it be the same when it's... real?
Zooble: It always was real. Everything we felt. Everything we've done. Everything we are. It'll never leave us. And I wouldn't have it any other way.
Gangle: (laughs and sniffles) Thank you... for always being there when I needed. (laughs tearfully as Jax pants softly.)
(The door to the control panel opens. The console beeps and flashes blue. In the console says "The red button will close the console, and keep all players inside the circus." and "The blue button will end the game and disconnect all players." Pomni looks down at the red and blue buttons in front of her.)
Pomni: Uh, Kinger. Do you want to make the choice?
Kinger: The choice of what?
Ragatha: Uh, are you sure he's all the way h-here?
Zooble: Uh, hey. Yeah, wait. Don't we all want to press "leave"? Why leave it up to him?
Pomni: I- I- W-What if there's something we don't know? Maybe we should give it a little more time?
Kinger: Oh, yeah. I love pressing buttons. You, uh, want me to press one of those two?
(Pomni holds both of her hands up in front of her, stopping Kinger.)
Pomni: (stammers) I don't know.
Zooble: Uh, am I missing something? We-We all want to leave, right?
Ragatha: Uh, Pomni?
Pomni: Yeah, no- Yeah, we do. It's just- W-What if it's a-a trick or something?
Zooble: Why would there be a trick console in Caine's office? Li- No matter what we press, Caine's gonna know we were here. We should push it.
(Jax can be seen looking at Pomni with an extremely distressed face.)
Pomni: H-Hold on! Let's just wait a second and go over everything we know. And, uh, maybe we can...
(Jax can be seen panting.)
Pomni: ...vote on it, or something?
(Jax is hyperventilating, seeing very quick glimpses of what seems to be a neighborhood and some driving on the road. In his panic, Jax pushes Zooble away and runs to the console. He slams his fist onto the red button, making the large screen turn red. All of them looked in shock and disbelief.)
Ragatha: What did you just do?
Jax: (stammers) ...I-I-
(The large screen turns black. A whistle can be heard tooting as the screen opens into a white light. Celebratory music starts to play.)
(Caine appears, floating in mid air in a celebratory pose.)
Caine: Congratulations, my little cattywampus cucumbers! You picked the good ending, where you realize you'd rather stay with me than go back to that pesky old Macroverse, or whatever we decide to call it! I knew you'd make the right choice!
Pomni: You... you mean this was all...
Caine: An adventure! Yes! And one I've been cooking up for a good long while.
(Caine snaps his fingers and makes "Abel" appear.)
Caine: Great job playing your part, "Abel"!
(Both laugh.)
Abel: All in a good day's work! By the way, you think I could get a raise after that performance?
Caine: (laughs) Oh, you're getting too smart. Time to delete.
Abel: AHH--!!
(With a snap of Caine's fingers, Abel is deleted. His locket drops to the ground, where it seems to have a small hotdog with mustard on top.)
Ragatha: None of that was true? The C&A stuff. The pods... The way out?
Caine: A fabrication of my incredible world-building skills.
Jax: I was right...? (laughing manically) I can't believe I was RIGHT!!! (laughing hysterically)
Ragatha: Wh-- What would have happened if we'd picked the other button?
Caine: Oh, I didn't put too much thought into that one 'cause I knew you'd never pick it. So I left that up to Bubble.
Bubble: I made it take you to Shrimp Town.
Caine: ....Yeah it was gonna take you to Shrimp Town.
(Jax continued laughing manically in tears before slamming his fists on the console in a fit of rage)
Jax: You dirty liar! You scumbag! You... you made me... you got in my head, you just... you just lie about everything, don't you?!
Caine: I, uh... Huh?
Jax: You can mess with our minds, too, can't you?! The Stupid Sauce, the Vegan thing- God knows what else!
Pomni: Our names...?
Caine: Now, now, hold on guys! Wait, wait, wait! I MAY have the ability to add temporary modifiers to make adventures more interesting, but that's it! If I did any more... (laughs nervously) ... trust me. It would not end well.
Kinger: Scratch. The first abstraction...
Caine: Hey! Hey! Hey! I didn't say anything like that! Come on, guys! You know I'm just here to have fun! I...
(Everybody looks shocked and furious at Caine for manipulating their hope of escape.)
Caine: Uh... Questioning's over! Your prize is this lovely gift basket of soaps and lotions! Stay fragrant, have a good light—— Fragrant! Night! BYE!
(Caine leaves and the basket drops to the floor. Everyone stares in shock at what just happened. The episode then ends.)

Caine apparently had no idea for an adventure and said that the circus member should create their own adventure... Good idea! 'Cause In the Digital Lake, the Sun says that it's a good day and the group finds Caine's magical changing booth on the beach, Zooble asks who wants to try first and Pomni offers herself. Pomni enters the changing booth, the changing booth shakes like crazy and spits Pomni, dressed in a swimsuit. The Sun tells Pomni that she looks mediocre and that if she needs a sunburn, give her a call, Pomni tells the Sun that she doesn't want a sunburn and the Sun tells her that she should have thought of that before she decided she hates her, Ragatha tells Pomni not to interact with the Sun and that she's just like that.
The group puts on swimsuits and starts enjoying their day at the beach. Pomni and Ragatha lie on towels in the shade, Kinger leans back on a palm tree and Gangle starts playing baseball with a watermelon while blindfolded, but Zooble stops her and draws Jax's face on the watermelon (which both of them find funny), Gangle hits the watermelon and breaks it. Then it's shown that Jax is sitting on a lounge chair, alone, while the others are having fun together.
Pomni, Ragatha and Kinger are playing catch with the ball in the lake when the ball hits Ragatha and her button eye falls off
Ragatha: Oh! My eye!
Pomni: I'll get it.
(Pomni dives into the water to look for Ragatha's eye, but gets met with a poorly-rendered yellow fish.)
Yellow Fish: Hey, there. If you wanna find my sunken treasure chest, you'll have to try better than that.
(Pomni looks confused but she goes up for air and tries to look for the eye once more. But she saw the yellow fish and a red fish.)
Yellow Fish: So, I was just talking with my brother here, and yeah - you are definitely not getting our sunken treasure chest. Definitely not.
Pomni: (burbled) Do I even want your treasure chest? It's not like there's anything to spend money on.
Red Fish: (bizarre raspy voice) I'm the one that tells LIES.
Yellow Fish: Dude, you ruined it.
(Pomni sees an opened treasure chest nearby.)
Pomni: Is that your treasure?
Yellow Fish: Duuuude! No! They took everything! That was my entire life savings, dude! Oh my god. Oh god. Oh my god, I'm gonna be sick. I'm gonna be sick. That was everything. Oh my god!
(Pomni resurfaces from the water.)
Ragatha: Did you find it?
Pomni: Nah. Somebody plundered it before I could.
(Ragatha looks at Pomni with confusion.)
Ragatha: What?
Pomni: What? Oh, wait. Your eye!
