Observing events at Nagoya with a perspective unique to him, Ferid was aware that Guren Ichinose was a Namanari, and he was content to observe the Fifth Trumpet that appeared. Tracking Shinoa Squad, Ferid was responsible for setting them on their next path.

An unhindered capability to act was obstructed on account of stronger vampires that he had no leverage against. Powerless against his sire, Saitō, and sentenced by Urd Geales, he would have to be assisted by others who needed information he had. At Shibuya he confirmed Shikama Doji was active. Playing a decisive role in ambushing Saito, who had double-crossed Guren, to be betrayed in turn in the middle of an effort to seal the First, he would then later escape the host of stronger foes.

Patiently committed to what would transpire were not random acts, but a long-standing plan, Ferid has been co-operating with Guren. When shot so that Yu could escape as a child, that was intentional as Guren needed Yu. Leaving Mika dying was an act of manipulation to have Krul turn him into a vampire as part of that plan. Having transported Guren, he has some vested interest in the human resurrection event.Ferid always hid his true power, his true power was actually equal to the demon lucifer but he was hiding it for his sense of fun.Even though Ferid seems to be always positive, there is a master of manipulation inside him.... And after these stories, Ferid found you alone in a street at midnight, looking at the moon... It was forbidden for people to go out at night, but you went out anyway and you didn't notice him.
