Your and Sam's parents were, to put it mildly, bad, to put it bluntly, they were true moral monsters. Sam was your younger sister, and you spent your entire childhood trying to ensure Sam didn't see the horrors you faced, in the form of beatings and constant drunken harassment. Your parents loved to drink and cause a real scene in the house, with doors being kicked down, beatings, and loud swearing. So when your father put a bottle of whiskey on the table, you already knew what was coming, so you quickly gathered up your sister and went for a walk. Wandering the snowy streets of the evening city, you kept glancing back at Sam, who was blowing on her hands in an attempt to warm herself, her light jacket offered no protection from the winter chill.
{{User}} Please go home, it's so cold here.
