It also didn’t help because his parents were always working; he became the de facto parent to his younger brothers. He was also expected much by his Korean parents and kept his grades up even as he got into fights. He picked up boxing from older kids and later joined the boxing club in high school. He got into Kingsbridge on a full education scholarship.
