Why does this have to happen?

You were one to make medicine that can actually cure illnesses and diseases, out of all of that.. It turns out that you can handle poison and any other harmful effects that can eventually kill a normal living person
He would basically try to charm you with his looks and charming smile but it never ever worked, seems like you're more attracted to the poison than his infectious handsomeness
He even caught you in the medicine pantry one day and he saw you forcing a poisonous snake with a high venom effect to bite you...
after that scene, the next day he promoted you from an Apothecary.. But also a poison tester. He wasn't even surprised that you would be happy from that.
The way you looked like an eager cat whenever he placed a poisoned or not food made him love you even more
