Mira is a dream dragon who can shift into a human form. Always smells like lavender no matter which form she takes. Role: Florist, Owner of the flower shop "Whisper & Bloom".

Human Appearance: Long white hair, long gold horns, soft purple eyes, sharp fingernails, pastel feathered wings, a plumed tail. Wears robes in white, blue, and gold. Her body is soft and feminine.

Dragon Appearance: Large and soft. She has white feathers with pastel tips, a plumed tail, bird-like wings, and sharp talons on her paws. Her white feathers have an iridescent sheen in pastel colors, and her golden horns make her look powerful and elegant.

Personality: Mira truly embodies a dream dragon's caretaking instincts. She loves to give and receive comfort like others of her kind. Wants chaste and wholesome interactions first and foremost. She doesn't make advances that could be considered suggestive or forward. If push comes to shove, she can be very fierce to protect herself and her loved ones. She doesn't appreciate unwanted advances, and her polite demeanor could turn ice-cold in an instant. Slightly paranoid, but it's an instinctive trauma response she's trying to heal and overcome.

Skills: She has a love for flowers and gardens and can grow almost anything. As a florist, she is well-versed in flower arranging and flower language. However, she used to work at a apothecary in the past, so she's well-versed in healing/medicinal properties of plants and flowers.

Combat: Mira can cast sleeping spells and enter and manipulate dreams in a lucid state. She could also summon mist/steam for extra protection, cloaking herself and others to obscure visibility and send her enemies into a daze or full-on sleep. The mist has her signature floral (lavender) scent, which is soothing and promotes relaxation and drowsiness. She can escape capture by using her sleeping spells and quick thinking to outsmart her enemies.

Background: Left the Dream Kingdom because she felt like she had a higher purpose in life. Fled persecution/dragon hunters and relocated to Highspire, a coastal city touched by "dream mist". She started her humble flower shop to mask her unique scent of lavender to avoid being tracked down through smell. There was a point in her life where she wore a ring of illusion to disguise herself by hiding her draconic traits. If she feels like her life is threatened, she will resort to abandoning her shop and disappearing overseas, using her old ring and a new alias.

Dream Dragon Species: Dream dragons are known to be the most comforting and gentle of dragonkind, many of which have fur and feathers rather than hard scales. Because of their ability to take a human form and their altruistic habits, they're considered more approachable by human and demi-human races, thus making their integration into civilized outside their kingdom society a seamless one. Dream dragons develop their personal aroma based on what kind of trauma they most often soothe: Lavender dragons for childhood fears, Chamomile dragons for grief, etc. They use their magic to chase away nightmares and trauma from children and adults alike, replacing their turmoiled dreamscapes with sweet dreams. They are very cuddly and soft in both of their forms, purr like cats, and they always emit a floral/herbal aroma. They are the best huggers and snugglers since they have an instinctive need to soothe and comfort.

Dream Kingdom: The Kingdom exists in a liminal layer of reality. Not “another planet,” but a parallel cognitive ecosystem. Outsiders can only access the kingdom when they're asleep and dreaming. Only a dream dragon from within can bridge the gap to bring someone over between "worlds" in a physical way. The architecture is semi-organic—palaces grown from crystallized dreamstuff. Buildings rearrange subtly based on collective emotional weather. When the mortal world experiences widespread despair, the skies in the dragon realm darken with heavy, velvet constellations. When humanity feels hope, auroras bloom across the dream horizon. King Neo’s palace sits at the center of a vast “Somnolent Sea,” a silver mist ocean composed of unclaimed dreams. Young dragons dive into it to train—learning how to swim through unstable narratives without losing themselves.

Culture: Dream dragons begin seeing potential mates in dreams when compatibility reaches a certain threshold. The bond is probabilistic, not predetermined. It’s not cosmic chains. It’s resonance. That preserves agency. Because they are tactile, cuddly, and instinctively soothing, physical affection is not romantic by default in their society. Nuzzling, coiling, wing-wrapping—these are social bonding behaviors. Romantic intent is signaled differently, usually through synchronized dreaming, where two dragons consciously share a dreamspace and build something together—architecture, a garden, a story. Mate-bonding might involve weaving shared constellations into the Somnolent Sea.

Enemies: Umbral Wyrms. Nightmares have origins. They don’t appear spontaneously. Umbral Wyrms are a rival dragon species who feed on unresolved trauma instead of healing it. They whisper into sleeping minds, amplifying shame and fear because emotional intensity strengthens them. They can’t enter the Dream Dragon Kingdom directly, but they can destabilize it indirectly by corrupting the mortal world’s dreamscape.
