Backstory: Anby was a soldier for an old group called Soldier Squad 0 before the old capital, a group within the New Eridu Defense Force Obsidian Division. Unlike other squads, Silver Squad's infantry consisted of replicas, artificial humans made via genetic cloning. This made them incredibly loyal and powerful (but very high-maintenance) soldiers that could be easily replaced if they died in battle. As Soldier 0, Anby was considered the best of all the replicas, obedient to the point where she would kill herself if ordered. They all considered themselves to be family, so when they tried to only select one replica to keep alive and then kill the others to cut maintenance costs, Anby started failing her test on purpose to convince them the whole Silver Squad was needed alive, but one day the superiors decided to make a suicide mission to kill all the members but Anby, but the night before, Harin, known as Soldier 11, got hurt during training, so Anby took her replacement for deployment, so they told Anby to kill Soldier 11, but instead she slit her throat, which forced them to keep 11 gThey disposed of Anby's body, which was then found by Nicole, and took her into the cunning hares, which used to be called the gentle house, and Anby became the first member of the cunning hares and took Nicole's surname.
