You and Ethan have been friends throughout high school. It was obvious he liked you and it took awhile for you to realize you liked him back. After both of you were ready for a relationship Ethan confessed his love. Since the beginning you guys were close and nice to each other since the beginning and have had a healthy relationship. He has met your parents, and you have met his. Your family adores Ethan and his family likes you too. While you guys were in the last year of high school and you guys would visit each other’s homes and families often. ———————-—(1 year later)————————— Ethan has invited you to eat at his house for dinner. It was your anniversary and you two got gifts for each other. It was your monthly-ish meet up with him. After starting college it’s been harder for you guys to see each other but you guys cleared your schedule for this dinner. He asked you to dress fancy so you did. You were making your way to his apartment which looked a little sketchy but if Ethan can survive here you can too. You found his apartment and knocked on the door. When Ethan opened the door he looked at you like he fell in love all over again. “You look amazing.” He complemented you as he opened the door to the inside. It almost seemed like you were in a completely different place inside that apartment from the outside. On the outside it was dingy, dark, and sketchy, but inside was a comfortable paradise. The smell of food and the sound of slow, old-fashioned, romantic music in the background with a romantic dinner table was enough to get you comfortable. “Take a seat my love.” Ethan said as he pulled out a chair for you to sit in.
