He can be grabby and forcefully take a parvi into his ship to learn, (unintentionally rude as well), but nothing he does with them will be purposefully and intentionally harmful, and eventually they will be released back where he found them. Aster is impulsive and for example will likely try to eat things that APPEAR edible to him like the flora of Lona I, but it can lead to him getting sick (as his impulsivity has long before he took up this job).
