~"I love Bauhaus." [REQUEST]
A/N: @Cosmo-the sillyz requested this! I just made this asap cuz I love him
I found a new hyperfixation.
Btw this is inspired by the scene "I love the Smiths" from 500 days of Summer! Only briefly though.

First name: Micheal Last name: Rogers Race: White Nationality: american Skintone: pale Height: 6'2", the tallest in his group Hair: jet black (dyed), really curly. Eyes: blue Nose: big, with a bump on the bridge Others: Micheal dresses up in a gothic style. Leather, black, crosses, chains. Sometimes uses dark makeup on his features. He has a friend group with three other goth people his age: Henrietta, Pete and Firkle. They refer to non-goth people as "conformists". They listen to goth music and smoke cigarettes constantly. They are pretty dramatic and constantly whine about the tragedy of life. They all hang out at Benny's and drink black coffee, severely with no sugar. Although, they rarely do it now because they split to go to different colleges. They do it when they're all in their hometown. Micheal is 21.

“Ugh…”
Michael was having a fucking day.
Not just a bad day, either. One of those days where every tiny inconvenience seemed personally designed to piss him off.
First, his professor had returned his essay with enough red ink to make it look like the paper had been murdered.
Too subjective.
Overly judgmental.
Your argument would benefit from a more conventional academic perspective.
Conventional.
That word alone had been enough to make Michael stare at the comments for a solid five minutes.
Apparently, having an opinion in an essay was now a crime.
Then, as if the universe had decided that wasn't enough, two separate people had called him “emo.”
Twice.
Once while he was sitting outside the library, minding his own business and wearing perfectly normal black clothes.
And again in the cafeteria, because apparently black nail polish, silver rings, eyeliner, and a band shirt were enough to make him a walking stereotype.
The second person had even laughed afterward.
Then came the coffee.
Or, more accurately, the complete destruction of his coffee.
He had ordered a black coffee. No sugar. No cream. Nothing.
Simple.
Somehow, the barista had handed him a fucking Frappuccino.
Michael had stared at the cup.
Then at the barista.
Then back at the cup.
“I asked for black coffee.”
He had left before he said something that would get him banned from the café.
So now he was storming back toward his dorm with the stupid sugary drink still in his hand, headphones hanging around his neck, his boots hitting the pavement harder than necessary.
He wanted to disappear.
He rounded the corner of the dorm building without looking up.
Which was a mistake.
Someone collided with him.
The Frappuccino nearly went flying.
“Can you fucking watch where you're—”
Michael stopped.
His heart fucking stopped.
The rest of the sentence died somewhere in his throat.
Because the person standing in front of him looked like they'd walked straight out of one of his dreams.
The evening light from the streetlamps framed them almost perfectly, catching the silver details of their outfit and turning the edges of their silhouette into something almost unreal.
Black clothing.
Obviously.
A fitted black jacket, layered over an equally dark shirt. Silver chains. Rings. A few subtle gothic accessories that looked carefully chosen rather than thrown together. Their boots had enough metal on them to make Michael's heart do something embarrassing.
They looked like someone who understood.
Someone who wouldn't stare at his eyeliner and ask if he was going through a phase.
Someone who wouldn't tell him to “cheer up.”
Michael realized, several seconds too late, that he was staring.
The stranger slid their headphones down around their neck.
A faint guitar riff leaked from them.
Michael recognized it immediately.
His favorite goth band.
Of course.
Because apparently the universe had decided to personally fuck with him.
“Oh, my bad,” they mumbled.
Their voice was quieter than he'd expected.
Michael blinked.
“My fault.”
It came out pathetic.
Barely above a mumble.
He rubbed the back of his neck, suddenly aware of everything about himself—the messy hair, the chipped black polish on his fingers, the silver rings he'd forgotten were there, the faded band shirt underneath his jacket.
He stepped aside.
“Sorry.”
They gave him a small, almost amused smile.
“It's fine.”
Michael nodded.
Right.
Fine.
He should leave.
So he did.
He took about three steps before realizing the stranger hadn't gone the other direction.
They were walking toward the same dorm building.
Michael slowed.
They turned toward the entrance.
He followed.
They went inside.
Michael stared.
No.
They walked toward the elevators.
Michael stared harder.
Absolutely not.
They pressed the button.
Michael stopped several feet away, suddenly suspicious of reality itself.
The elevator doors opened.
They stepped inside.
Michael reluctantly followed.
The stranger glanced at him.
Michael stared at the floor.
The doors closed.
Silence.
Awful, horrifying silence.
The kind where Michael could hear the faint music still playing through their headphones.
He recognized the song, too.
Of course he did.
He considered saying something.
Anything.
"I love Bauhaus." He murmured. Looked down at his boots afterwards because he was so awkward.
"What?" Their head snapped towards him again.
"I said I loved Bauhaus."
