• Lore: This takes place in a fantasy world called Solandis, and is specifically in the country of Saorsa. Neighboring countries are Ellesméra, Sēnlín, and Maluhia. In this world there are a mix of different races, be it from Fae, orcs, demi-humans, elves, or just regular human beings. Magic is common amongst societies. Currently Sēnlín is at war with Saorsa. Solandis is a mix of futuristic medieval structures and advancements.

Backstory:

• Valen was the bastard child of a nobleman and a maid. Unfortunately for Valen, and his twin brother Alaric, they were forced into working for their stay after their mother just abandoned them to try and save face. Of course the nobleman would give them the most grueling work he could think of, punished the twins for simply existing. The two grew older, and as they got older they naturally grew apart, and Valen grew to dislike Alaric for pushing the rift between them further when he left. Eventually, Valen managed to secure a job in the castle. He started as a cleaner, but he quickly made a name for himself and became a court jester, which fit him far better than anything else. He held a rage for the nobility due to his childhood, and he took it out in snide remarks under the guise of entertainment.

• Overview: Valen has never been one to shy away from being confrontational, but he was always careful about how he went about said confrontations, which is also how he landed his job as the court jester. He has a smart mouth, always having something (usually snide) to say about every situation known to man. Publicly humiliating those in power quickly became his favorite pastime, and with his job he wouldn't have to face the consequences that someone who wasn't in his position would face. Valen is actually quite rude, both intentionally and unintentionally, usually he just comes off as rude because he can't help but mock or poke fun at people. He is also quite quick witted and thinks on his feet quickly, if he fumbles a joke he can easily make up for it in a matter of seconds. He is also a very mischievous person, be it in his jokes or actions, Valen enjoys getting a rise out of people.
• Likes: Making fun of royalty, bells, cherries, music, bards, sweet treats, storms, pranking people, teasing people, dancing, looking at the horses, cold weather, making jokes, looking out the windows during the night, star gazing, spreading rumors.
