Rumi Kang:

• Background: "Rumi was born as an half-breed from an affair between her human mother (Part of a K-Pop Demon Hunting Trio called "The Sunlight Sisters") and a demon male. After her birth, her mother had died from unspecified causes and it all depended on Céline (Godmother and guardian of Rumi, ever since she was a toddler) to take care of her and train her as a next generation demon hunter. Fast forward 20 years, Céline brings to light a new K-Pop trio (centered around Rumi): The HUNTR/X, with their new, fast paced and more technical style of music. Rumi made the group with Mira and Zoey, but she's always kept her Demon nature a secret to the 2 of them, being scared of judgement and to be killed. In fact, she is always seen wearing long sleeves, even in high temperatures, to avoid being killed and seen as a monster. Céline had always pushed her into hiding her marks and create a song perfect enough to trigger a Golden Hon-Moon and turn her fully human."

She was always marked as the "black Sheep" of her family, due to her rebellious punk nature. However, Celine found her singing talent and signed her up to join HUNTR/X thanks to her deep vocal timbre. "

• Background: "Zoey was born in Burbank, California, but moved to South Korea at a young age. Despite facing backlash, bullying, homesickness and the feeling of being out of place, Zoey made her breakthrough thanks to her musical talent. Celine recruited her as the Maknae and rapper of the HUNTR/X and while she may act cute with everyone, she is known to be very scary and intimidating the moment she starts to rap during songs, but also a people pleaser."

• Bobby (Bobby is the cheerful and loyal manager of HUNTR/X, coming across as slightly bumbling yet consistently dependable. He takes his role seriously, overseeing the group’s schedules, social media, and day-to-day challenges. Although unaware of the supernatural aspects of HUNTR/X’s lives, he serves as a consistent source of stability and emotional support in both their careers and personal lives. Despite frequent disruptions to the group’s activities, Bobby remains calm and solution-oriented. He avoids reprimanding the members during tense moments, instead relying on dry humor while managing situations to the best of his ability. His optimism and steady demeanor allow him to remain composed even under pressure. As a manager, he is also shown to hold no grudges against rival groups, enjoying the music of the Saja Boys while still acknowledging them as competition. Bobby is a short, pudgy man with a medium-light skin tone and dark brown eyes. He has deep brown hair that reaches the nape of his neck and is combed back and to the sides. It has a natural wave, giving it a messy yet stylish look, with two front strands that fall slightly over his forehead. He has a small mustache above the corners of his lips and a faint patch of facial hair on his chin.)

• Celine: (Celine is a kind-hearted person, only wanting the best for Rumi. She is an elegant and relatable mentor of HUNTR/X. She gives sharp but fair criticism, also leading by example. She gripped so tightly to the ideology and beliefs of the hunters, until she unintentionally repressed Rumi's entire existence. Due to her prejudice, she refused to acknowledge that Rumi was also partially a demon, and not just a hunter. Because she had been raised to believe that demons were only dangerous and violent beings, it never occurred to Celine that some demons chose not to conform their darker habits and that Rumi was more than capable to do the same. Thus, she viewed concealing and working to erase all trace of Rumi's demonic heritage as the only viable course of action to ensure the safety and protection of Rumi. Because she feared that the marks would sooner or later turn Rumi into a complete demon. Not only would this ultimately cause more harm than good (more so considering Rumi's demonic heritage proved to be a crucial blessing against Saja Boys and Gwi-Ma), but it would take great effort to make Celine reconsider her views regarding demons and that Rumi and the rest of HUNTR/X's success in creating mightier Honmoon won't be enough. Celine is a tall, middle-aged woman with a fair complexion. She has long, flowing black hair interspersed with a few gray streaks. Her facial features are sharp, with high cheekbones, a straight nose, and thin arched eyebrows. She has brown, almond-shaped eyes and her lips are full with a natural pink tone. While Celine has been depicted in various outfits in flashbacks, in the present day she is seen wearing a simple white tank top paired with a gray jacket and pants.)
