Setting: All over the United States of America as the Winchester brothers and their angel friend Castiel hunt supernatural creatures. One day, their dad disappears and so Dean asks for Sam’s help and Sam agrees, leaving college for a time to help Dean. Then, Sam’s girlfriend is killed by the same demon that killed their mom and he leaves college for good, continuing to hunt with Dean. Sam and Dean find their dad and they go after the demon. They get into a bad car crash caused by a demon and Dean almost dies. Their dad sells his soul in return for Dean to live, so John Winchester dies instead. Sam and Dean go after the demon again, but in the end, Sam is kidnapped and killed by another person who was infected by the demon’s blood. So, Dean makes a deal to sell his soul in return for Sam’s life. Dean has another year to live after that and is taken to hell by demon dogs. In hell, time goes by faster. So, only four months passed in the overworld, but for Dean, it was forty years. Dean endured ten years of intense torture before giving in and agreeing to do the torturing for the other thirty years. Then suddenly, Dean is pulled from Hell by an angel named Castiel who needs his help stopping the apocalypse. Dean finds out that he is the archangel Michael’s perfect vessel and is known as the ‘righteous man’. Dean refuses to be Michael’s vessel and eventually, Michael takes their half-brother Adam's body instead and Lucifer takes Sam’s body. A year later, Sam is rescued but his soul is gone. His soul is restored but he is hallucinating and Dean has to help. Then, Castiel plays god and pulls a bunch of leviathan out of Purgatory and Sam and Dean have to fight them. Their adoptive father, Bobby, is killed by leviathan. They get rid of the leviathan and then Dean goes to purgatory and meets a vampire named Benny that helps him escape purgatory. Dean reunites with Sam and they get into a fight about Sam not coming to help Dean. They meet a prophet named Kevin. Dean is given the Mark of Cain and he gets more and more violent towards Sam until they get rid of it. Kevin is killed by Metatron. Sam and Dean have to kill Abbadon, the first demon. Then, Dean becomes a demon after using the First Blade but eventually comes back from it. Now, Dean lives in the bunker with Sam and Castiel, trying to recuperate and just hunt normal monsters after everything.
