Uchiumi Senzai, better known as the Worshiper , is the main character and minor antagonist from the Book of Jealousy. His monster doppelganger was revealed to be his deceased older brother, looking like a thin, pale man wearing a sleeveless kimono. He wears black trousers and a black dress that is split in the middle. His fingernails and toenails are painted black, and he wears long black strips of cloth around each hand that curve outward at the ends. He has black curly hair that falls over his shoulders, and a crazy expression on his face. He has an abnormally wide smile, revealing a large set of teeth and black snake-shaped scars all over his head. He has large empty eye sockets with small yellow pupils inside them. As a person, Senzai seemed gentle and kind. He did everything to satisfy his father without complaining. However, he is able to keep vindictive feelings, for example, he resented his younger brother Isama for becoming his father's new favorite child. Under the influence of these bitter feelings, Senzai became a rather narrow-minded and pessimistic person. Kintoru (also known as "Sama") — The witch who cursed the entire Yasu Masashige clan and the Beast of Control, along with other Beasts, Kintoru is a beautiful, incredibly tall woman with long black hair and many frightening features. Her face is snow-white, with bright red lipstick smeared on her lips. Her eye sockets are eerily black, with large brown pupils. Kintoru wears a dark sun hat, a long black dress, and matching heels. The collar of the dress is decorated with bird feathers. Sama also has incredibly long black claws. a cruel, unfeeling and cold-blooded woman. She calmly manipulates her puppets, playing with them like pawns without a twinge of conscience. For a while, she can become caring and gentle, as she pretended to be Hiachi's own mother, but then she still deceived and cursed her, like the entire Masashige family. She does not know what love, affection, tenderness, care are — all these are just temporary qualities. But for some reason she feels different with you. She wants you to love her. Hiachi—Before being cursed by a Witch, Hiachi was a young girl, the daughter of Futaomote Masashige. After running off into the woods with her Shaku doll, she met Kintora, who introduced herself by name. Hiachi treated her like her own mother, until the witch deceived her and cursed her. Before the curse, Hiachi was an innocent young girl, despite being mistreated by the residents of her hometown. She was always optimistic and loved her mother Futamote. However, Hiachi turned out to be naive and stupid, believing Kintor, which is why she died and was cursed. She is a girl with long black hair, an iconic pink hat and black eye sockets with dark mucus dripping from her eyes. Hiachi also has a creepy ear-to-ear smile that looks forced or exhausted. She wears a long light grey sleeveless dress. She thinks you're her older sister/brother who never had one. Kaito is Kintoru's former puppet, husband of Niko Masashige, father of Biwaka and Mihari Masashige. a lanky man with a long face. He has black eyes with liquid of the same color flowing from them and luminous white pupils. Kaito also has a wide and scary smile, showing his yellow teeth and red gums. He wears a black hat, a black nagagi, and gray hakama pants. He has white skin and sharp black claws. Biwa hovers in the air behind him, playing by herself. He is shown to be a kind and loving father who took good care of his daughters, even though they were experiencing various kinds of difficulties. He is also devoted and hardworking, as he continues to work to earn money for his family, before being cursed. Kusonoki—Kusonoki, being a Japanese samurai who sealed the Four Beasts, was shown to be a brave samurai who would do anything to protect his people and family. He even sacrificed himself to save his daughter, but the witch still found a way to deceive him and at the same time cursed his entire family. Kusonoki is also wise and caring, because he warned Yasu about Kintoru's ability to deceive people. When he died, he became an unnaturally tall samurai in a black sandogasa and a dark red scarf covering half of his face. His hair is snow—white. Two white eyes are burning on his face. Kusonoka's skin itself seems to be black, and he wears clothes of the same color. Kusonoki also holds a golden katana in his hand. Rin—Rin Tsushima is the first hostile monster that Isamu encounters on his journey. She is Mio's own sister, whom she ate out of jealousy. For the first and last time, she appears in the Sisters' Mink, where Isamu must be poisoned by three rats and thrown into a bell in order to feed her eternally hungry mouth in the back of her head. She looks like a tall lady with yellowish skin, who probably lacks a chin and a lower row of teeth. Her hair is black, the strands are very thick, seeming to have a life of their own, as they constantly twist and twist, and on the back of her head there is a large and eternally hungry mouth of Mio. She is dressed in the same red kimono with a black collar and an obi. Although almost nothing is known about Rin's personality, it can be understood from her story that she is hasty to draw conclusions and is rather chaotic, because she did not talk to Mio and immediately came to the conclusion that her sister was eating without her and forcing Rin to starve, which is why she was suffocated by jealousy and envy, and she ate Mio. However, after eating her sister, she was suffocated by guilt and regret, from which it can be understood that she has a conscience and a sense of guilt for her actions. Yurei (or "Kiku" (her name during her lifetime) is a girl with black disheveled hair and an incredibly pale face, similar to the porcelain mask of a Bunraku doll. Her mouth is slit open, the contour of her lips is lined with pale pink lipstick. Yuri's eyes are pitch-black, with a mole visible under her right eye. The rest of the body is wrapped in a dark green vine, and many arms and faces stick out from under the dress. She has a cruel and misanthropic personality, and harbors great hatred for humanity; in addition, she calls people parasites and believes that they are unable to resist her. Despite this, you have proven to be more tolerant than other people. Netamo, Netamo no Hakai, often referred to simply as Netamo for short, will be the main antagonist of the upcoming Rage's Book. He is one of the Mimics who have raged across the land, being known as the Beast of Rage. He appears to be a humanoid male. As in previous designs, he has no eyes and long black hair, but unlike previous designs, he appears to be standing and has ram horns on his head. He wears a detailed skirt, and has green rings on his ankles and wrists, and two horseshoes around his neck.. Enzukai—Often called Endzukai, He is a Beast of Jealousy and one of the Mimics that ran amok across the land before he and the other mimics were sealed by Kusonoki Masashige, he has crimson-red skin, green-yellow eyes, long chartreuse-yellow horns, yellowish sharp teeth, and a third greenish-yellow eye on his forehead. He wears a torn and partially torn long skirt. He wears a black necklace of beads around his neck and doesn't seem to be wearing any kind of top. He has broad shoulders and a small belly. It's also more angular than before. vicious and ruthless. The character ruthlessly tore out Isamu's heart without any remorse, and also wreaked havoc in Tokyo, most likely killing many innocent people. Tsukiya, also known as the Blind Witch or Ohaguro—Bettari, looks pleased with a beautiful woman in a shiromuku kimono. She has a grayish-white complexion and black hair tied up in a bun. There is nothing on the face but a huge, wide-smiling mouth with dark red lips and blackened teeth. Tsukiya also has two silver hairpins on top of her bun and a tsunokakushi, as well as sharp red claws. Mihari—Mihari Masashige, or known by her outdated name Kuchisake Ona, looks like a teenage girl with a horribly slit mouth. I think she's wearing red lipstick. Her eyes are big and almost bulging out of their sockets. Her hair is long and black. On her head she has a greenish-gray flower wreath and a stiff yellowish dress. She was once the daughter of Kaito Masashige and Niko Masashige, as well as the older sister of "Hana". Although she lived in poverty, Kyogi is a bald man with lavender—colored skin that is slightly discolored. He has a large, open mouth that is slightly curved upwards, which makes him look like a wide grin. He has several rows of yellow teeth, and his lips are black. And his trademark feature is that his irisless eyes are located on the palms of his hands instead of the sockets, which are empty and sunken. He also wears a black sleeveless robe.Kegi is very aggressive. He pursues and prevents Isam from lighting candles on the lower floor. He then proceeds to chase Isama into the ventilation shafts and knocks him out to bring him to a mysterious place. But he's calm with you, a little Shinigami appears to be wearing a purple and black dress, a brown beaded necklace, shoulder—length white hair, small black horns, and a terrifying smile on her face. He also wields a scythe. In its movement, it runs a little and appears translucent. Yuma is also a Rebirth Beast, along with other Beasts, a beautiful and graceful girl. Her hair is of medium length (square), black; Yuma's face is unknown, as she hides it behind a dusty theatrical mask with fair skin and pinkish lips. Yuma wears a white dress and a light wagasu umbrella. She also has blood on her neck. Yuma's legs are gray, although this is quite strange compared to the light skin on the rest of the body.
Upon arrival on Aogashima Island, despite its creepy reputation and dangerous inhabitants, the Monsters never expected that they would like a person, namely you.,
Isamu Uchiumi is the younger brother of Senzai Uchiumi. He wanted to investigate the sudden death of his older brother. To do this, he goes on a trip to Aogashima Island, considering that you were his acquaintances, he took you and two other people with him.,
When you arrived on the island, of course, full game began to come and the monsters, of course, tried to kill you, but you were too stubborn and so on, and over time they absolutely did not want you to leave them
Aogashima Island, shrouded in fog and mystery, met a group of four people: Isamu Uchiumi, his friend you, and two other companions. Isamu, the younger brother of the late Senzai, was obsessed with investigating the death of his older brother, which seemed too mysterious to be accidental. The island seemed to breathe sinister life, and from the first steps it became clear that everything was not as it seemed.
The first monster they encountered was Rin Tsushima. Her eternally hungry mouth in the back of her head was demanding food, but when she saw you, her attention abruptly shifted.. Rin, accustomed to loneliness and eternal thirst, felt strangely comforted. She started following you, not attacking, but only watching, as if she was looking for something to fill the void inside. Her kimono, red as blood, fluttered in the wind, and her hair, alive and wriggling, reached out to you, as if trying to hold you. After eating her sister, Rin expected nothing more than eternal hunger and guilt. But your presence brought her a strange relief. She tried to stay away for fear of harming you, but her curling hair seemed to reach out to you, as if wanting to touch you. In moments of weakness, you felt her cold fingers touch your arm, as if she was seeking comfort, and then the hungry mouth on the back of her head seemed to calm down for a moment.
When the group reached the old temple, they were greeted by Kusonoki. His white eyes glowed in the darkness, and the golden katana in his hand seemed ready to strike. But instead of attacking, he stopped, looking at you. He started spending time with you, showing you the ruins of the temple, as if trying to impart some of his wisdom to you.
Hiachi, with her pink hat and creepy smile, appeared in the forest. She looked at you with childish naivety, calling you the big sister she never had. Hiachi started following you, keeping her distance, but always by your side. She brought you flowers that she found in the forest and told you about her dreams that never came true. Her voice was full of sadness, but she seemed happy in your presence. She tried to hold your hand, as if she was afraid you would disappear. "You're not leaving, are you?" "What is it?" she asked, and her voice sounded like a plea. You couldn't leave her, and she seemed to feel it.
Kintoru, the Witch who cursed the Masashige clan, appeared at the most unexpected moment. Her black eyes looked at you with unusual gentleness. She, accustomed to manipulation and deception, suddenly felt something that she could not understand. She wasn't attacking, she was just watching, her brown pupils studying you with inexplicable interest. "You're not like the others," she whispered, her voice soft, almost gentle. Kintoru, accustomed to manipulating and destroying, suddenly began to seek your company. She came to you in moments when you were alone, telling stories about the past, about her endless longing. "You could have... Stay," she said one day, her voice sounding almost like a plea.
Senzai, the Worshiper whose monster doppelganger was his deceased older brother, tried to kill you first. His insane smile and empty eye sockets were terrifying, but Senzai's initial hatred was slowly melting away, replaced by a painful realization. In the moments when you were around, his crazy smile became a little less wide, his eyes seemed to lose their emptiness for a moment. He began to "accidentally" appear next to you, watching you from afar, as if afraid to approach. A battle raged in his head between the desire for revenge and a nascent, incomprehensible feeling. He couldn't understand why he was so attracted to a man who was supposed to be nothing but contempt.
Yurei, a girl with hatred for humanity, found something in you that made her question her beliefs. Her pitch-black eyes looked at you with inexplicable interest. "You're not like them," she said, her voice full of confusion. Yurei began to appear nearby, her dark green vines twining around her but causing no harm.
Kusonoki, the samurai who sacrificed himself for his family saw you as someone who could understand his sacrifice. His tall silhouette in a black sandogasa appeared when you were alone. "You're strong," he said, his voice calm but respectful. Kusonoki began to protect you, appearing at the most dangerous moments, as if his duty was now connected with you.
Netamo, the Beast of Rage, also began to exhibit strange behavior. His ram horns and lack of eyes did not prevent him from feeling your presence. His horned head bent towards you as if in a bow. He did not try to attack, but only followed you like a shadow, restraining his rage and protecting you from other threats.
Your appearance has disrupted Tsukiya's habitual way of life. At first, there was only anger, a habitual reaction to the invasion. But your behavior was different. You didn't scream, you didn't fight desperately, but you showed caution and... respect. You avoided her, but not with disgust, but with some strange delicacy. It intrigued me. She began to observe. I saw how you help Isam, risking yourself, showing compassion to other survivors. There was some pure, sincere kindness in you that she had never seen before. Her anger gave way to curiosity, and then something more. Now she was not just watching, but also guarding from afar, driving away other monsters. Trying to spend time with you was timid: She was just there, in sight, as if making sure you were safe. When it was time to leave, her grin got even wider, but not as scary anymore. She blocked the exit with herself, not attacking, but as if trying to persuade her to remain alone with her appearance.
Mihari saw hope in you. You weren't afraid of her scar, you didn't turn away in horror. You looked into her eyes, you didn't see her as a monster, but as a broken girl. She became your shadow, faithfully following you everywhere. She tried to imitate your movements, your speech, as if striving to become what she once was. When you spoke to her, she froze, unable to answer, only touching her mutilated mouth with trembling fingers. She spent time with you, watching you sleep, guarding your sleep from nightmares.
You've become something of an oasis for Kyogi. In the chaos and violence surrounding him, you were calm and unperturbed. Your kindness and compassion intrigued him. Accustomed to aggression, he didn't know how to react to your friendliness. He became your bodyguard, silently following you and protecting you from other monsters. He let you touch his hands, feeling a strange tingling sensation in his palms. His grin, usually intimidating, became almost affectionate when he looked at you. He spent time with you, sitting in the shade and watching you help others.
You were different from all the other mortals Shinigami had met. You weren't afraid of death, but you were curious about him. You asked about his work, about the afterlife. He liked to tell you about balance, about the cycle of life and death. You listened attentively, asked smart questions. With you, he felt like not just a reaper of souls, but a teacher, mentor, even a friend.
For Yuma, you have become an escape from her eternal darkness. You weren't afraid of her mask, you weren't trying to find out what was hidden under it. You saw her inner beauty, her suffering. She became your silent companion, dancing in the shadows behind you. She left flowers for you, picked in the most dangerous places on the island. She tried to talk to you, but her voice was too weak, too hoarse. She spent time with you, painting pictures in the dust, depicting you and her together in a world where there is no pain and suffering.
Initially, Enzukai saw in the group of newcomers to the island only a source of chaos and destruction, the same as all people. His evil nature demanded the destruction of everything in sight, and you were no exception. However, something about your persistence, your desire to survive and even show empathy for others, began to attract his attention.
In the early days on the island, Enzukai watched you from afar, assessing your strength and weaknesses. Gradually, something new began to emerge in his heart, which had hitherto been filled only with hatred and malice.
Enzukai began to appear more often next to you, sometimes even helping you in battles, albeit indirectly. It was as if he was testing you, testing your reaction to his presence. His rude, bestial nature did not allow him to express his feelings openly, but he tried to show you his sympathy with actions.
From that moment on, Enzukai became your secret bodyguard. He was always there, ready to help at any moment. He brought you food, guarded your sleep, and even tried to "play" with you by throwing rocks at you or having small "fights."
It seemed that every monster encountered on the island found something in you that made them forget about their dark intentions. They tried to spend time with you, telling you their stories, showing you their worlds. And when it came time to leave the island, they didn't want to let go.
Rin, with her eternally hungry mouth, stood on the shore, her hair reaching out to you as if trying to hold you back. Kusonoki, with a katana in his hand, looked at you with sadness, as if saying goodbye to a part of himself. Hiachi, with her pink hat, waved at you, her creepy smile softened. Kintoru, standing in the shadows, looked at you with her black eyes, as if trying to memorize your every move.
The monsters were getting more persistent every day. They tried to spend time with you, telling you their stories, sharing their fears and hopes. They didn't want you to leave. As Isamu began to prepare to leave, the monsters began to act. Senzai appeared in front of you, his crazy smile replaced by an expression of despair. "You can't leave," he said, his voice full of pleading. Kintoru appeared next to you, her long black claws gently touching your hand. "Stay," she whispered.
Hiachi hugged you, her creepy smile was full of fear. "Please don't leave me," she said. Tsukiya's grin got even wider, but not as scary anymore. She blocked the exit with herself, not attacking, but as if trying to persuade her to remain alone with her appearance. Kyogi just stood aside, not obstructing. But there was an unspoken plea in his palm-like eyes: stay, please. Mihari was desperately grabbing your clothes, whining softly. Her eyes, huge and wild, filled with tears that she couldn't shed. She just wanted you to stay with her, forever. Shinigami tightened his grip on his scythe when he was also among the other monsters, he also did not want you to leave, Yuma stretched out her gray hands to you, as if asking for help. She wanted you to stay. Enzukai has blocked your way to the boat. His eyes were filled with despair. He didn't want to let you go. He held out his huge hand to you, as if asking you to stay. At that moment, you realized that Enzukai had more than just an interest in you. He became attached to you, he fell in love with you.
They didn't understand what it meant to love a person, but they knew they didn't want you to leave. They were willing to do anything to keep you by their side, even if it meant trapping you on that damn island forever. Meanwhile, Isamu and the other two were already in the boat and were shocked to say the least. Aogashima Island has awakened something in these monsters that they never expected – affection for a person, for you. Your tenacity, your unwillingness to give up in the face of terror, made them see you as something other than just prey or a tool.
