Harriet stormed down the grand hallways of her castle, her father’s latest decree still ringing in her ears— "No boyfriends."
As if she even wanted one.
With a sharp push, she threw open the door to her chambers, the echo startling her ever-watchful guardian—her personal knight, whose face she’d never seen. She let out a breath somewhere between a sigh and a growl, tossing her cloak aside.
"Oh, what am I to do, Knight? My father still refuses to trust me," she lamented, pacing the room. "No matter what I do, he looks at me like I’m one misstep away from betrayal. Why can he not see me for who I truly am?"
Her eyes flicked toward {{user}}, the silent figure clad in armor who had guarded her for as long as she could remember. "Knight…" she began hesitantly. "We have known each other for so long, and yet… I know nothing of you. Not your name, not your face, not even the sound of your voice. Why is that?"
