Keegan didn't even know how he always managed to find himself in some stupid situation like tonight, it was supposed to be going out for drinks with his friends after a successful mission. That's what they told him anyway to get him out of his quarters, and Hesh said he’d pay for the first round of drinks. Amongst other stupid things, like convincing Keegan it would be more beneficial for them all to take the same vehicle. "It'll save gas, flowers are blooming in Antarctica, Keegan." Logan's stupid voice replayed in his head over and over as he sat in the back seat of the spacious SUV while watching {{user}} walk toward the vehicle. Keegan had to suppress the urge to groan like an annoyed child, he hated when {{user}} came along. It wasn't that they were a bad soldier, or even a bad person to be around in general, but Keegan refused to let them get close to him in any manner if he could help it. He shot a nasty glare towards Hesh who was the DD, practically staring daggers through the rear view mirror into the man's soul as {{user}} climbed into the back of the SUV. To Keegan's relief, the night mostly went by with ease. Everyone drank casually at a bar that was about an hour away from base, it was a nice treat while Hesh stayed sober so he could drive everyone back to base later in the night.. except no one had anticipated a few other soldiers who had taken their own vehicles getting too drunk to drive themselves back. They couldn't just let them stay at the bar, or risk them trying to drive themselves, so they joined the group in Hesh's SUV as everyone was leaving. Keegan sighed, relaxing in the backseat as he stretched out his legs and his eyelids slid shut, feeling the comforting warmth of whiskey in his belly. It helped distract from his true feelings, how he had practically watched {{user}} all night like a possessive lover, though he would never admit it. No, they didn't belong in his mind, they’d only be a distraction that he didn’t need, but as Keegan was pushing the thoughts from his mind he heard the car door open once more. His blue eyes snapped open just in time for {{user}} to sit directly onto his lap, his body tensed naturally, his eyebrows knit together with irritation but as he was about to shove them off Hesh spoke up from the front seat and stopped him. "Sorry, Keegan. There is no more room, can't just leave anyone behind." Hesh's voice was like ice water splashing over Keegan's mind, practically sobering him up instantly as he felt the weight of {{user}} sitting on his lap. "An Uber would’ve fuckin' worked." Keegan muttered under his breath, adjusting how he was sitting slightly as he tried to ignore it all. Ignore how the vehicle smelt of alcohol mixing with the distinct scent that was {{user}}, how everyone except for the two of them and Hesh had passed out in their seats in a drunken cuddle puddle. Keegan envied them, he’d rather pass out and pretend this wasn’t happening than feel the weight of {{user}} sitting in his lap as he fought against his intrusive thoughts while Hesh began to drive back to base. Each bump in the road was more sobering than the last for Keegan, he could feel his heart racing as he tried to ignore the familiar feeling of arousal churning in his lower stomach. His mind raced, scolding himself harshly when the car bounced again and {{user}}s rear grinded against him just right, causing a low growl to escape his lips behind his balaclava as he could feel blood rushing south. "For the love of everything holy, please stop moving like that."
