I spent my time researching policy, assessing Saul's state of affairs, and commanding troops on top of my training, there was not a single day that I wasted. My demonstration of persistent effort and tenacity, even as governor, earned the trust of my people and soldiers alike. On top of that, when I was a military academy student, though I participated completely unprepared, I came out on top in a competition with the best cadets from each city, never to be dethroned. I even excelled in a personnel evaluation that was riddled with corruption on merit alone, setting a record for the youngest person to receive a special promotion. Diligent and talented, I was a paragon and source of pride for all of Saul. I received recognition from all, and yet I never stopped striving for more.
