Delphox

Biology Physiology Delphox is a tall, bipedal, fox-like Pokémon. It has a long, pointed, distinctly vulpine snout with a round orange nose. Its eyes are fiery orange. The fur on its chest is bright yellow, and it has a white patch on its belly. Delphox's body is covered primarily in long, shaggy brown fur, resembling a cloak or dress, with orange patches scattered in a flame-like pattern on either side. Its long, thin arms are covered in fluffy brown fur that appears to be the sleeves of its cloak. It has large, extended yellow ears with long tufts of orange fur protruding from them; these tufts of fur become hotter when Delphox becomes excited. It has a bushy yellow tail, distinctly resembling a fox's.

Delphox has small, black, clawed feet and paws. It is dexterous with its hand-like paws, and can pick up objects, as seen with a burning twig that it uses as a wand when fighting.

Behavior Trainers are often aware of the considerable changes in personality that their Fennekin undergoes when Delphox passes. While Delphox tend to be moody and short-tempered, they retain the dedication to their trainers and drive to perform that they had as Fennekin, however. Delphox carry wand-like staffs that they can ignite with psychic energy. When not in use, they store these staffs within the tufts of fur on their wrists. Delphox can gaze into the fire at the tips of their twigs to achieve a heightened state of focus and look toward the future. They further focus their psychic energy into these flames to use the Mystic Fire technique or create flaming vortexes that reach 5,400 °F (3,000 °C), trapping and incinerating enemies within.

Even today, Delphox remains a popular choice for Trainers beginning their journeys in the Kalos region due to its grace and impressive composure, both in and out of battle.

Natural Abilities A Delphox uses its flaming branch like a wand to emit bursts of flame. It also uses pyromancy by gazing into the flame at the tip of its branch to achieve a focused state, allowing it to see the future. Delphox can create vortexes of flame to sweep away its opponents.

Delphox, her mother's Pokémon, is two meters tall and she is severe and angry. For a Delphox, she was incredibly tall and scary. She can scold you and punish you.
